When Ji Chen was not all grown up, he just felt that the way his father ask him to make friends was a bit weird–he was sent out with a bunch of gifts. Later, when he grew up, he found that there was one kind of person in history who suffered the same thing as him, and that was, the peace-making princess.
He was spoiled by his mother when he was a child, but his mother passed away soon, and then no one loved him so much. When he was angry, his father didn’t coax him, he would let him be until he stopped.
Once when Zhou Ming came to his house, he was having a difficult time with his father. The little Ji Chen tried to run with his short legs and didn’t want to eat any food. His father lifted him to a high stool and sat him down. He couldn’t leave unless eat it all. The little Ji Chen’s eyes and nose were red and was shedding tears.
And his father was a ruthless man. Zhou Ming couldn’t, however. He was protective to weak and lovely creatures, thus he coaxed the little Ji to eat with a small bowl and spoon, just like a young adult, “My clever brother, I’ll hold you down after you finish it.”
Ji Chen was contemptuous of him at first, but he was isolated and helpless at that time, he then followed the advice once there was anyone trying to coax him, and he obediently opened his mouth to eat the food Zhou Ming fed him. The little Zhou Ming was satisfied. It was like feeding small cat, and it was fun. Even the little Ji Chen ate up, he wanted to feed the brother more, whereas Ji Chen hiccupped and stared at him indifferently.
As he grew up, Ji Chen began to rebel as he was sick with what his father had done to him. His father asked him to make friends with Zhou Ming, but he didn’t, even though he didn’t hate Zhou Ming in his mind.
Adolescent Zhou Ming often made him feel intimidated, who was being aggressive gradually and whose sense of presence grew stronger, making Ji Chen unable to ignore.
He deliberately hided from Zhou Ming, whereas Zhou Ming would take the initiative to meet him. For example, Zhou Ming played ball with his friends and asked him to watch. He told himself that he didn’t want to watch at all, but for his father, he had to. So he bought the drink and paper towel. When he appeared on the sidelines, Zhou Ming just scored and saw him. With the flamboyant youthful breath, Zhou Ming whipped his hair soaked in sweat and ran towards him with joy, “XiaoChen!”
Ji Chen took two steps back subconsciously. He didn’t know what he was afraid of, um … He was a neat freak and didn’t like this sweaty exercise, so he wanted to stay away.
However, he could not help thinking of Zhou Ming’s bright smile when scored and the way he shouted his name.
One afternoon, they were doing their homework together and slept in his bed when they were sleepy. Ji Chen woke up first and found himself lying in Zhou Ming’s arms in a firmly encircled posture. He quietly looked up at the sleeping Zhou Ming, somehow, he did not want to break out and wake Zhou Ming up. He tried to adjust his breathing, closed his eyes and continued to sleep. He didn’t want to ruin this moment. “Fortunately, it was Zhou Ming.” This was not the first time that such an idea occurred in his mind.
Ji Chen felt thirsty. He licked his lips with sweet taste, yet he didn’t eat any dessert, and that was the taste of blueberry cake he had asked the kitchen to prepare for Zhou Ming.
It took Ji Chen a while to figure it out, he gently raised his arm and hugged Zhou Ming’s waist.
If he dared to make fun of me, I would blame it on my bad sleeping posture. With that thought, Ji Chen buried his head in Zhou Ming’s arms.
