Yes! Finally Tycoon

Chapter 84: Chapter 84: The Alpha?!

The mansion glowed softly under the warm lights of the sunset. The wind caressed the translucent curtains and the domestic robots performed their tasks in silence, as always, almost as if they were rehearsed to maintain the aesthetic peace of the palace that was the home of Matthew and, now, also of Luna.

The main door opened with a light decompression sound. Luna entered with her heels in hand, the dress shirt wrinkled, golden hair loose in rebellious strands and a dragged sigh worthy of an award-winning drama.

"Aaaaargh… MATTHEW!" she shouted, throwing the purse onto one of the luxury poufs and crossing the hall like a frustrated child returning from school.

Matthew appeared at the top of the stairs with a calm expression, holding a glass of organic juice. He wore a simple linen shirt and light pants. Upon seeing the storm of drama in CEO form, he merely arched an eyebrow and calmly descended the steps.

"Let me guess... another exhausting day of interstellar finance?"

"Worse!" she dropped the heels on the floor and lay down on the nearest sofa like a tragic heroine. "I spent the whole day playing mini games!"

Matthew approached, not understanding. "Playing... games?"

"Yes, playing. The girls said that ÆVA's new emotional response testing algorithm needed data from humans playing, and guess who was chosen? The super rich, super beautiful and super underestimated financial director of Tycoon!"

She huffed indignantly as she stretched her arms as if she had carried sacks of potatoes all day. "And they still say I don't work! I do work! My job is... to allow the Supreme Tycoon card to work with no limit at all!"

Matthew nearly choked on his juice, laughing. "So your job as financial director... is to swipe the card without thinking?"

Luna sat up slowly, as if the accusation were unfair. "Exactly. Finance is flow, and I am the flow, Matthew. If there's no movement... the economy stalls."

He approached, running his fingers through her golden hair and affectionately caressing her. "You are definitely the flow... of luxury."

Luna grumbled, but allowed herself to relax. The caress on her head felt too good. "They used me. My fingers are tired. My eyes burn. I saw a blinking pink ball for eight straight hours just to earn points of 'Playful Empathy'. What the hell is that, Matthew?"

He just laughed.

Without saying anything, Matthew leaned in and began kissing her face — on the forehead, cheeks, chin.

Luna closed her eyes, letting out a sigh of pure relief and pleasure.

"You're really good at this..." she murmured lazily.

Then came the final blow: he pulled her by the waist firmly and pressed his lips to hers in an intense, hot French kiss that swept the ground from under her feet. Luna moaned in surprise, feeling her legs falter.

"Hey!" she protested between laughs when they finally pulled apart, breathless. "I'm the Alpha of this couple. You can't leave me weak like that!"

Matthew only gave a provocative smile. "I think the Alpha is failing in her position..."

Luna narrowed her eyes, fighting against the smile threatening to appear at the corner of her lips. "Careful, Matthew. If you tease me more, I... I..."

"Will collapse on the couch and ask for a back massage?"

She sighed dramatically. "Exactly that. And a milkshake. And maybe... a drama marathon to forget the trauma of the mini games."

Matthew just shook his head. "You're the most dramatic and cutest CEO in the world."

"And you're my official boyfriend. You have legal and romantic obligations now."

"I'm aware. I already signed the invisible contract to pamper you."

She smiled satisfied, snuggling into his chest like a spoiled princess — which, in truth, wasn't too far from the truth.

On the other side of the mansion, the robots began to prepare an automated foam bath with orchid flowers. The system already knew: when Luna complained, it meant she wanted to be pampered until she forgot her own name.

And Matthew was willing to give her that.

After all, an Alpha also deserves to rest.

Night fell softly over the glowing city of Phoenix and Luna finally surrendered to the comfort of her domestic empire.

Dragging her delicate feet along the cold marble of the hallway, Luna entered the main bathroom of the mansion. She undressed slowly, with the grace of a tired empress, and sank into the tub already filled with shimmering mineral salts.

She leaned back against the tub's headrest, closed her eyes, and let out a long sigh — one of those that says: "The world is heavy and I'm too small to carry so many spreadsheets."

But before she could completely sink into an emotional coma, soft and firm footsteps echoed through the room.

The glass door slid open with an elegant hiss, revealing Matthew with a towel wrapped around his waist, damp hair, and a mischievous little smile — the kind of smile that said: "I did something spontaneous, but perfectly calculated to sweep you off your feet."

Luna widened her eyes and sank up to her chin in the water like a startled cat.

"M-Matthew?!" she murmured, completely taken by surprise.

"You looked so tired, love," he replied with a calm and husky voice, removing the towel and entering the bathtub as if it were his natural throne. "I thought you could use some company."

Luna shrank by reflex, her face tinged with a vivid ruby red. Despite all her dominant posture, strategic intelligence and infinite credit card, she was still, deep down, a girl in love, and hadn't yet crossed that boundary with Matthew.

She turned her face, pretending to adjust a strand of wet hair.

"I-it's just that... we still haven't..." she tried to justify, stumbling over words she usually made others swallow with glacial elegance.

Matthew approached slowly, not breaking her personal space, but close enough to envelop her with the comforting warmth of his presence. He gently ran his fingers along her submerged shoulder, sliding over the soapy skin with reverence.

"Luna..." he whispered, leaning in until his forehead touched hers. "I just want to be close. It doesn't have to be anything more than this. Just the two of us, in a quiet moment."

Luna swallowed hard, her heart sprinting an Olympic race inside her chest.

She murmured. "Ok... but... if you try anything, I swear I'll become CEO of your soul and buy your emotional control."

Matthew laughed, sinking beside her, gently pulling her so her back fit against his chest. The foam surrounded them with the texture of perfumed clouds, and Luna, little by little, began to relax.

"Hm... you're really just... hugging me," she whispered, surprised and almost disappointed.

"Isn't that enough?" he replied, tightening the embrace slightly and placing a tender kiss on the side of her face.

Luna closed her eyes, her lashes heavy with warmth and affection, and sighed deeply. "Damn you... you know exactly how to break me down."

"Does that make you the Alpha of the couple or the easy prey?" he teased, chuckling softly.

"Alpha," Luna grumbled, puffing her chest dramatically. "Always Alpha. Even when I'm pampered."

"Yes, Miss Alpha..." he murmured, gently caressing her arms. "Then allow your beta to take care of the queen today."

Luna smiled, surrendering completely to the moment. Resting in Matthew's arms, with her golden hair loose and damp clinging to her fair, glowing skin, she played with his fingers submerged in the warm water. Despite the relaxing environment, her mind buzzed with strategic thoughts and numbers that wouldn't stop bouncing in her head.

"Matt..." she began, her voice slightly muffled by the water and the rare shyness she rarely showed, "Did you know that ten countries have already contacted Tycoon in the last seventy-two hours?"

Matthew, with his eyes half-closed, only murmured a sleepy "Mhm," but attentive. Even relaxed, it was impossible to ignore Luna's body heat against his, especially with the satin glow covering her shoulders. Just by looking... he had to hold back.

Luna sighed, the tips of her fingers drawing lazy circles on his chest. "All of them are begging for access to the Hélios Orbital project. They want to order 1500 satellites" and she paused dramatically "You said earlier that each one would cost 2.8 billion dollars. But if we consider launches with ArcSys Global's reusable rockets, we can reduce the cost to 1.6 billion per unit."

Matthew opened his eyes with a long sigh, as if fighting an invisible entity called "self-control."

"1.6 billion per unit with transportation included," he repeated, turning his head slightly to look at her. His eyes inevitably slid from her neck's curve to her lips. Heaven, she was wearing a cherry-flavored lipstick that made everything ten times more dangerous. "That's still below what I expected. Orbital energy is the new gold. And Solarius Phoenix practically handed us the treasure on a silver platter."

"Exactly." Luna muttered, looking away as if more interested in the bath bubbles than in Matthew's almost devouring expression. "Humanity has pretended to care about the environment and clean energy for centuries... but now that they have a practical solution, they're biting the hook. And biting hard. Tycoon was just the diamond bait."

"And you were the luxury hook." Matthew teased, bringing a hand to caress her chin and make her face him again. "I always knew you would attract the world with your glow. Literally and metaphorically."

Luna turned red. Not from embarrassment, but the kind of warm blush that comes with a sudden urge to pull someone underwater and forget the entire world. But she resisted. She was the Alpha. At least... she tried to be.

"Tsk... if you keep going like this I'll get distracted and forget all my strategic arguments." She whispered, trying to keep composure. "And that's unfair. I'm the financial director. My job is to think, calculate, maintain balance and..."

"…swipe the Tycoon Supreme card without limits?" completed Matthew with a crooked smile, pulling Luna slightly closer until their noses touched. "You're shining as bright as the satellites you're selling."

Luna stayed silent for a second. Then she laughed, half muffled, almost defeated.

She pressed her forehead to his and sighed. "I should forbid you from being this cute."

"And I should forbid you from being this irresistible when you talk about billions like it's pocket change."

She raised an eyebrow, playing with her hand on his chest. "You want to have sex now?"

"I want to honor you." he replied, without hesitation. But then he pulled her into a tight hug, as if he wanted to protect her from his own passion. "But not today. Not here. I want to do it right. When you're ready. When we're ready."

Luna melted right there. The world could end in flames out there and she wouldn't care. Lying in his arms with Matthew ignoring the carnal heat just to respect her timing?

That...

...That was the kind of thing worth more than trillions of dollars.
