As Tobi drove home, the city lights danced across the windshield. His mind wandered to his children's future—would Liam play for Arsenal someday? Would Ava be a scientist? Would Thiago become a poet? Would Luna lead a business empire?

He parked the car, stepped inside, and was instantly greeted by Emilia, holding Luna in one arm and sipping chamomile tea with the other.

"Daddy!" she said in a tiny voice, imitating Luna, who squealed.

Tobi melted.

He scooped all of them up, holding them close. In that moment, titles, fame, and goals blurred into the background. He had already won.

The morning began with a scream—not from the crowd, not from a tackle, not from a last-minute goal—but from Luna, the youngest and loudest of the Oliveira children.

Tobi shot up from bed immediately he heard the noise of the babies, heart hammering, eyes wild, mind immediately defaulting to crisis mode. He blinked twice, realizing it wasn't a bomb threat or a defensive error but just another day in the chaos of fatherhood. Beside him, Emilia groaned and pulled a pillow over her face.

"I'll get her," Tobi mumbled, already rolling out of bed, bare feet hitting the cool wooden floor.

It was 5:12 AM.

He shuffled into the nursery, where Luna stood up in her crib with her chubby arms stretched out and her lips trembling in a pouty war cry. Her twin sister, Ava, was still asleep, thumb in her mouth and hair sprawled like a tiny lion's mane across her pillow.

"Luna, meu amor… what is it now, hein?" he whispered softly, picking her up with practiced ease. She immediately stopped crying, clutching his shirt with tiny fingers like he was her savior.

She wasn't hungry. She wasn't wet. She just wanted to be held.

"Ah… so you just missed Papa, huh?"

He walked with her into the kitchen, rocking her gently as he warmed up some milk just in case. Outside, London's dawn was breaking through thick grey clouds, a drizzle tapping gently against the windows.

After Luna had settled and he'd placed her back to sleep, Tobi made himself a quiet espresso. For five minutes, he sat on the kitchen island stool, staring out the window, relishing the silence.

Five minutes. That's all he got.

A door creaked. Then came a little patter of footsteps.

Thiago waddled into the kitchen in dinosaur pajamas, rubbing his eyes. Liam followed behind, dragging his favorite red blanket that had "Arsenal" stitched on the corner—a gift from Bukayo Saka himself.

"Tobi… can we play… now?" Liam asked, voice scratchy and still half-dreaming.

"Not yet, buddy. It's too early. Come sit. Want cereal?"

Thiago climbed onto a chair, nodding with his usual serious face. "Cereal and banana. No milk."

Tobi smiled, ruffling his hair. "You and your strange habits…"

By 7:00 AM, the entire house was awake. Emilia had joined them, hair tied back, wearing one of Tobi's oversized Arsenal training hoodies. She kissed him on the cheek before helping Ava get dressed, even as the twins argued about which cartoon to watch.

Later, while the kids were in the playroom under Emilia's watchful eye, Tobi stepped into their home gym. It wasn't the same as London Colney, but it was enough for light strength and endurance training. He was determined to enter this preseason at his absolute peak—even better than last year.

The Champions League trophy still gleamed in the display room. Two seasons in Arsenal. Two finals. Two victories. But he wasn't done yet.

As he wrapped resistance bands around his hands and began a warm-up, he thought about the summer break so far. It had been emotional. Beautiful. Exhausting. He had missed training, but he hadn't missed a second of his kids growing.

His agent had messaged him about brand deals piling up again—Nike, Beats, even an offer from Netflix to do a documentary. He hadn't responded. He didn't care right now.

"Papa! Thiago is putting cheese on Ava's hair again!"

Tobi sighed, dropped the bands, and jogged back to the living room.

Midway through the day, they all took a walk through the estate's garden. Emilia held Luna's hand. Tobi carried Ava in one arm and held Thiago's fingers in the other while Liam chased a butterfly around the rose bushes.

"You know," Emilia said, pausing beside him, "I think this might be my favorite season of our life."

Tobi smiled, kissing her temple. "Not even preseason has started yet."

She gave him a playful shove. "I'm talking about us, you goof. This family."

That evening, after storytime and a not-so-quiet bedtime routine, the house finally fell into silence again.

Emilia curled up beside him on the couch, the TV casting a dim glow over the room. She rested her head on his chest, and he ran his fingers through her hair.

"What happens when preseason begins next week?" she asked sleepily.

"I wake up earlier," he replied with a soft laugh. "And I train harder. And I come back home to this every night."

"You promise?"

"With everything I've got."

A pause.

"Tobi?"

"Yeah?"

"I think we should take a vacation before the season starts. Just us. Somewhere sunny."

He smiled, eyes already closing. "Let's go wherever you want. As long as I'm with you."
