"LISTEN TO ME!" Spencer aggressively turned to her and brushed her hands off of his arm. "I've got nothing to say to you."

"Why are you acting like you hate me so much?! When in fact, you like me too!" Gale screamed at him, Spencer's brows furrowed.

"What the hell are you talking about? Didn't I make myself clear yesterday?"

"I don't believe you."

"I don't care, if you believe me or not, I don't care about you at all. So, stop pestering me."

"Spencer, I am giving you the chance to treat me right, or else, I will leave you just like how Yanarym left you." Spencer, who was eager to leave, was stunned… there she goes again. Saying that Yanarym left him- Spencer gritted his teeth and refrained himself. He should save his energy to look for Yanarym and not waste it on Gale.

"Listen, Gale. I don't like you, I never loved you. We had sex, and that's it. The only woman that could hurt me, that could make me happy- is not you. It's my girlfriend, it's Yanarym. Her and her alone. So, whatever that was causing you to get delusional that I may like you, stop it. Because no, I am not pretending to hate you- I genuinely do. I want you out of my life- Yanarym's life… I want you out!" Gale blinked her eyes with tears falling from them.

Unlike yesterday, Spencer was a lot more calm talking to her. He was slowly saying each word emphasizing what he wanted her to understand… and she couldn't say that he was lying- because his eyes didn't even blink telling her all that. There was no sign of lies even to his gestures.

Is Hansel wrong? Hansel- that's right, Hansel told him to ask Spencer- he told her to clarify everything. She was about to open her lips to ask him why he would do all those things if he just wanted her out of their lives- but his phone rang.

Spencer took it and turned his back on her.

"Spencer speaking."

"Mister Spencer, I checked the CCTV footage on your condominium floor, can you come to my office to review the footage? Your girlfriend seemed to have taken a man." Spencer stiffened.

"What? You found her?"

"Not yet, Mister Spencer, we just saw what time she was taken out of your condo."

"Taken?"

"Yes, she was wrapped in a blanket-" Spencer felt his hands and feet turn cold. Taken? How? Worst scenarios came to his head and he lost his cool, he immediately ran to leave the room dashing into the parking lot of the university. Gale, who was behind him, caught up and joined him in the car.

Spencer has no time to kick her out, he was too occupied by worries about who might take Yanarym. Whoever it may be, he prayed- prayed- prayed that she was in good hands because he swore- if something bad happened to her. He could never forgive himself. He could never-

Hansel was in the class, dazing, when he felt his phone vibrate, he immediately took it expecting Yanarym called him. But it was Gale, he only blinked his eyes in disappointment and opened the message. After he read that Spencer found the lead where may Yanarym be, he excused himself in the class.

This was too early for discovery, he made sure that he deleted all of his traces on Spencer's condo, how could they find a lead? He tried calling Yanarym- she wasn't answering.

He glowered his eyes on the steering wheel. After their argument last night, they hadn't had a proper conversation. They had breakfast together but that was it, she didn't talk to him at all. And he gave her time- just like what he said, he will give her time to think about it. And seeing that she wasn't responding just yet means she's taking him into consideration… he knew that Yanarym likes him, he has the space in his heart. Because if not, she wouldn't have second thoughts at all. And Spencer- Spencer is ruining Hansel's chance to win over Yanarym…

Upon entering the police station, Hansel was greeted by Spencer with a blow with a fist. "You fucking liar! Where are you hiding my girlfriend?! Where is she?!" Hansel licks the blood on his lip receiving the punch. He looked at Spencer and he was being held back by other policemen. His gaze wandered to Gale and she was bowing her head and gripping her phone tightly-

They already knew he was the culprit? And Gale lured him in? He laughed, he should have expected that at least… These days his mind has been all over the place, he couldn't focus on anything.

"You are laughing?! You fucking asshole, you were my friend!" Spencer burst, he got away from the police and dashed to Hansel to beat the hell out of him. However, Hansel got up and punched Spencer in the nose- Spencer lost composure as he slammed at the floor holding his face.

"You are abusing her! She called me for help, you fucktard! She got bruised on the face and her arms! Didn't I tell you that I like her?! Do you think I will just let you hurt her you - fuck you! You even brought your mistress here, huh?!" Hansel yelled, and the police apprehended them.

Spencer became handcuffed because he was too eager to attack Hansel. Gale and Hansel were brought with Spencer to the desk of the detective to have an investigation.

"Mister Hansel, where's Miss Yanarym? Is she safe?" The head detective of the case asked. Since it is more than just an abduction or missing case it will be moved to another department. But the detective wanted to keep the case and solve it.

"She's at my place- yes, she's safe. She's sleeping or watching movies." Spencer gritted his teeth, he felt so betrayed. He believed Hansel's scheme. He never thought Hansel would do this to their friendship. They've been friends for decades! And he could lie to his face with ease. Who knew what other deception he had done before this.

"You said earlier that she called you for help?"

"Yes, but that was a mistake. I remembered that I was the one who called her because I was worried that Spencer might do something to her."

"Do something to her?"

"He's a liar!" Spencer yelled, "Don't believe him, he's a fucking liar!"

"Mister Spencer, I will question you after Mister Hansel, please refrain from shouting."

"You don't understand! He's a fucking liar! You can't believe a word he's saying!" The detective sighed, he gestured to the other policeman to take Spencer away. "What are you doing?!" As soon as Spencer was out, the detective turned to Hansel.

"What did he do to her, Mister Hansel?"

"I don't know what exactly happened, but she has bruises on both of her arms, her wrists, and her chin. When I came inside their room, her clothes were ripped… she was on the bed, coiled at the corner. Rym was crying and she seemed traumatized…"

"She told you to take her away?"

"No, I insisted on taking her away, she seemed to be convinced to leave, that was why she was submissive."

"If you are Mister Spencer's friend, what is your relationship to the victim?"

"I like her… I like her a lot." The detective paused. He nodded and wrote the details to his small notebook.

"Is Mister Spencer always abusive towards Miss Yanarym?"

"He's not! He treats Rym with so much care." Gale interjected, the detective shifted his attention to her.

"So, he's not beating the victim regularly?"

"He never raised a hand on her! Yanarym never said that! He might cause her psychological pain but not physical pain!" Gale said loudly.

"Miss Gale, you've been friends with Miss Yanarym since childhood, right?"

"Yes…"

"She told you stories about their relationship?

"Yes."

"Are you sure that Mister Spencer was not abusing Miss Yanary-"

"I'm sure!"

"So, can anyone explain to me why Mister Spencer beat his girlfriend that day?" Hansel, who was listening, looked at Gale.

"You can't accept her statement as a reliable source, officer. Gale is Spencer's, another woman. He's cheating with her."

"Hansel!" Gale was startled, how could Hansel say that to the detective?! Doesn't he know that slandering Spencer's name on the police might put Spencer in jail?! Although she was hurt by Spencer, she could bear to see Spencer get jailed.

"I will decide who I will believe in, Mister Hansel. As far as I could see, you all are emotionally attached. Going back to the question, what triggered Mister Spencer to hurt the victim that day?" The detective pacified the two before they started another dispute. He had to conduct this investigation nice and easy, especially that the sons of big corporations were involved.

"Because he saw Rym and Hansel together, they were kissing!" Gale said, revealing Hansel's affair with Yanarym.
