Yanarym was always there if she wanted to rant or complain about anything. But this time, she can't talk about this to Yanarym, because technically, Yanarym, she's part of it too. Although Yanarym is unaware, Yanarym's into this mess, right? Because if anything, Spencer is cheating on her best friend and he's cheating with the best friend. Spencer was showing affection for Gale. And… it could lead to an affair… because… Gale flinched as she felt a sting on her lips. She bruised herself. She gulped and looked at Hansel.

Hansel wouldn't judge her if she told him that she likes Spencer, would he? Despite Spencer being his friend, Hansel would be critical and unbiased about this, right? She could talk to him about this, couldn't she?

"You see, Spencer, he's your friend, right?" Gale gulped and Hansel was waiting for her patiently.

"Hmm."

"Do you know that he's cheating? On Yanarym?" Gale breathed sharply and looked at Hansel. His smile didn't fade, his expression didn't show any kind of surprise and astonishment, he was aware…. Gale turned to the door meters away from them, that's where Spencer and Yanarym are. She then looked at Hansel again. "You know?- About them? That's Spencer's cheating on Rym?" Gale exclaimed in a whisper.

"Of course, I have known Spencer since childhood. For him, nothing was enough." Hansel said in a composed and calm tone.

"Won't you, - won't you tell him that he is doing something, something… bad. It's wrong, Spencer is doing something wrong, Hansel. How could you not- not tell him to do w-what's right?" Gale grumbled, frantic. She was stammering, unable to comprehend her thoughts. Hansel lifted his lips to smile-blankly.

Gale creased her brows, although she already bruised her lips- she couldn't help but to bite it again.

"Why would I? Spencer is just a friend, but he owns his life. I've got nothing to do with it." Hansel casually said. Gale stared at him, she should know, Hansel isn't normal, his thoughts don't align to how an average person's mind would work.

"But you like Rym, don't you? Aren't you concerned about her?" Gale asked, Hansel peered at her eyes, as if he was searching for her soul.

"Should I?" He smiled, "I mean, who am I to her? An admirer? You're the best friend, and based on my observation, you didn't care as much." Hansel walked closer to her and leaned, Gale stepped back and he didn't proceed on going near her, but his smile widened as he leaned to level their faces. "Not until this vacation started, you didn't show any interest in their relationship," he mumbled- lowering his tone, whispering although they are the only ones on that hallway. "So, tell me the truth, Gale, I won't judge." Gale gulped and stepped back again.

"Tell you what?" Gale stuttered, "I'm just a-asking Hansel don't think silly thoughts. I'm concerned about Rym, that's it." He smiled and bit his lips in amazement.

"Are you worried about your best friend? Or are you worried because you've become Spencer's other woman?" Hansel said in a slow manner, Gale's eyes widened and she voluntarily stepped closer to Hansel to cover his mouth but he stood straight, preventing her from touching his mouth. "Did I hit the spot?" He asked whimsically and chuckled. "You're cheating with Spencer?..."

"No!" Gale screamed, then she realized her voice was too loud and she bowed down and had deep breaths. "Y-you're wrong, I'm not, we're not."

"...yes, I know, I'm just kidding Gale." Hansel laughed loudly and Gale's cheeks turned crimson red.

"You're not supposed to joke like that! It's not funny!" She groused, she held her chest and could feel her heart beating loudly. Nervous, she did nothing wrong but she felt so nervous.

"You had such a violent reaction that gave me the idea that you- you like Spencer, don't you?"

"I told you it's not funny!" She yelped at Hansel but he wasn't laughing anymore. She blinked her eyes and gulped seeing that he was serious.

"You like him, you like Spencer, you can't deny that to me." Gale couldn't respond, she was left unable to utter words. "I told you, I won't judge you and I don't really care about your affair or my friend's affair."

"...I'm not c-cheating with Spencer, nothing's going on between us. He doesn't like me. Spencer doesn't like me." Hansel chuckled hearing this confession, she didn't deny it. Also, the way she said it, it's like, if Spencer liked her back, she was willing to participate in these cheating circumstances.

Hansel was never wrong in characterizing a person. And he's not wrong about Gale too. She's an interesting person, he knew, because he's been observing her over time. However, meeting Yanarym, Gale's turned out to be just any other woman he knew but still an interesting woman.

A selfish, smart, diligent, ambitious, cold-hearted woman- was lying beneath Gale's polite and humble appearance. She's poor, she wants to be successful. She's striving hard to climb at the top, she doesn't care about others but shows that she does in order for them to be indebted to her.

Yanarym was her childhood friend, Yanarym provided Gale what she was yearning for as a child. Not family but material things, Yanarym was rich. Gale befriended her thinking that she was protecting her from bullies but that was her facade- she was in denial that she was like any other kid who wanted to exploit Yanarym's fortune. At high school, Hansel found out that Yanarym was being courted from left to right. Gale would drive those suitors away, it was a speculation, but Hansel thinks that Gale seemed to be uncomfortable whenever Yanarym was getting ahead of her. Gale simply wanted what Yanarym had in life and if she couldn't have it, neither could Yanarym.

College came, Gale and Yanarym were still friends, but Yanarym couldn't lean on Gale at her hardest time, that was in the second year. This was why Yanarym started living with Spencer, because Gale didn't help Yanarym at that time. Why? Because Yanarym is broke- she's useless for Gale.

Although that was the case, Gale would meet with Yanarym occasionally, to complain, protest and just make Yanarym listen to Gale's life story. Of course, Gale would sometimes do favors for Yanarym. But Hansel also learned that any of those favors were voluntarily offered by Gale. Gale deliberately did it for Yanarym to feel indebted to her. And in exchange for those favors, she would ask Yanarym to do her a favor too. It was a lowkey manipulation, Hansel knew because he himself is a manipulator as well and that similarities was the thing he liked about Gale.

Nonetheless, Yanarym already has his interest. Gale is something but Yanarym is more than a thing.

From Hansel's childhood to this present time, he had been living the way he wanted everything to happen. People around him were doing things that he wanted to even with their knowledge or not. He had complete control of everyone and everything.

And because he always had it easy, it became boring, it was fun- but as everything was just as easy as pie for him. It's like, he was playing with this exciting game for the millionth time that it lost its excitement. He's no longer enjoying it. Since he grew bored of it, he didn't do it so often.

Gale came, he thought that Gale would be thrilled to play with. But Yanarym showed up. And Yanarym was not a simple woman like a new thrill was given to Hansel to have fun again, much more interesting than Gale.

Hansel thought it was an easy win but the longer it went on, he kept on unraveling another reason to keep himself fixated on her.

Then, the opportunity came- how conventional that he saw how Gale was attracted to Spencer. He was not trying to use this on Spencer or Gale at all, but seeing how the situation goes, he was convinced to set another play for the four of them to get entangled.

The plan was simple.  Although Spencer was doing a lot of peculiar things around Yanarym, Hansel didn't think that Spencer was in love with Yanarym. Love and Spencer are two things that can't be combined. Well, that might be the case but he didn't understand how Spencer could act like a man in love if he's not, it's weird, especially how harmonious the couple's relationship is. Nevertheless, Hansel won't be aiming for Spencer to fall in love with Gale, instead, he wanted to make Gale fall in love with Spencer.

If that happens, Gale would no longer be able to associate with Yanarym. And Yanarym, Yanarym has only Gale as her family. Nothing else motivates Yanarym than Gale. If Yanarym would find out that Spencer did that to Gale- Hansel was not entirely certain, because Yanarym was always unpredictable for him- but for some reason.
