World After Worlds

Chapter 334: § BULLSHIT §

Kraig returned from the academy and the first person he saw on his way back was Yanarym waiting at his doorsteps. She was covered in a yellow and white checkered sweater. As soon as she lifted her head and their eyes met she smiled widely and walked hurriedly to meet him. "You're back," she uttered softly and Kraig limited his smile and she instantly noticed his displeasure. "What happened? What's wrong?"

He pulled back from her and shook his head, "It's nothing. Should we do the assignment?"

He's cold. Yanarym observed Kraig's reaction and it seemed that he would not hide his disdain for the night. She could understand why: He failed to recruit allies he wanted in his vengeance. Of course, rejection could make anyone feel languishing.

In the book, he successfully made them board the revenge boat. What variable did happen that he lost them? I thought the events would proceed in the same flow as the plot. So, the flow of the story was not entirely the same, the swerve was still there. In conclusion, some of the characters would do their scenes regardless; and some would not.

Kraig had the worst fall for the plot alteration. It turned out to be not easy for him anymore. He used to receive more favor than Lyndon from the beginning until the end in terms of circumstances. Things or his plans would always go along with him. Because of that, he lost a little favor from Tiana because he was too inclined at seeing Castor's downfall. Revenge after all was another type of obsession.

Yanarym might say she was a clever person, but sometimes she could not understand. She could empathize with people around her, get acquainted, and might influence them. Regardless she was never too attached to anything and never really had deeply cared for anyone. So that she could not grasp the idea of revenge. It was the same concept as any emotion she had thought of, she knew them but she was not sure if it was accurate to say she felt them.

Revenge can only happen if you are too invested in something specific. It was a scary notion, which could only be achieved in desperation. Although she claimed to avenge the original of this world, she never meant to do it because she cared for the original. She was never put in a similar situation nor felt the same inclination. She was not a saint, she was simply a bystander who was thrilled at the moment—of the situation.

Yanarym smiled at Kraig who was lost in his thoughts. He could not accept it. He was declined by the three people he thought were as desperate as he was. Why was nothing going in his way? He failed to acquire the document of her mother's perishment. He failed to recruit people to be in enough power to bring catastrophe to Lyndon's family. Everyone was the same—or at least everyone Yanarym had met was, once nothing was going their way, they could only feel things like despair, madness, and disappointment.

It was the kind of abyss no one wanted to be into. When the person fell into the pit, when they were alone and hopeless, suddenly someone would drop a rope on that dark place, extend their hand to become hope and light.

"Why…do you look so happy?" Kraig asked, his voice was void of emotion, even his eyes don't shelter an ounce of affection. Yanarym felt chilly, she felt thrilled. Seeing someone's mask collapse. It was giving her the excitement she had been expecting when she thought of making this man crumble on his feet.

"What do you mean? Of course, I'm happy because I'm with you." Yanarym replied in her usual cheerful vibe. He's clearly irritated and I'm the person who could receive his disgruntlement.

"Your smile…" he gritted his teeth before he could finish his sentence. He remained his menacing eyes on her, Yanarym clung to him and lessened her smile with a comforting voice.

"Is it bad? What happened to you? You're not in a good mood. Do you want to talk about it?" She tried to console him but he was not elated. What did the professors say to him to be this angry? He was fine this morning, and this was the first time Yanarym saw him getting too hostile other than that moment on the field.

She could not say she was unprepared for this moment however it was too early for Kraig to break down on her. She was expecting this maybe for the next five months from now?

"Let's do what you came here for."

"I came for you." Kraig stared at her for a while without motion between them. They entered the house but the light remained unlit. It was dark and it was cold, a pair of shining eyes full of unconditional love was the only thing he could see, so he decided to look elsewhere. Her skin seemed to be glowing, he could see the slight tint of red on her cheeks, flustered as always. It was bitter, it was bitter to see her. Though it was bitter he still yearned for her to stay.

I can't think of anything. I want to see her get angry—she never gets angry with me. She never fought with me. I want to break so bad. Tiana was a history, Kraig did not pay a lot of attention but he could see Tiana was heartbroken. He wanted to see that in Yanarym as well. He missed the old times when she was in despair. He was a terrible being, he liked everyone to suffer before his eyes but the person he wanted to be tormented the most was not Lyndon or Lyndon's family. Right now, all he could think was a way to make Yanarym cry and shatter as she could never recover from pain. Beg him or something like that. He did not want to see her smiling right now. He wanted her to be in misery with him.

If he treated her badly; if he would be the worst to her, would she still flash those smiles to me? Can she still look at me with the same eyes?

"Take off your clothes."

"Yes?"

"Don't you miss me? Take off your clothes" He faked a smile and grabbed her. She did not run away, flinched, or have any violent reaction. She accepted him with open arms although he was acting differently. While she wrapped her arms around his torso as his fingers meandered to make her look at him. She smiled like a fool meeting his eyes. He moved his sight on her lips and bent to claim her. He crushed her in his embrace and there was no complaint but only submission.

The sweet taste of her lips was addicting, the soft skin against his fingertips that was giving him tingly, her scent infiltrating his nose that was causing his mind to get blank. He greedily opened his mouth and had the impression of swallowing her. He used his tongue to savor her and she met him, they tasted each other but the intensity was different. She was so gentle and he was aggressive. He lifted her and brought her to the spot. On the carpet of the lion's fur. He snapped his finger and the fireplace lit up.

When they settled, he undressed her and made her legs coiled on his body while laying her beneath him. His mouth traveled to her neck and bit her, when she trembled, he licked her and tasted the rustic flavor of her blood. "A-agh…" He sucked her skin until it turned purple, and would bite her repeatedly, and even if she would be bruised it could not satisfy him.

"Ah!" He heard her cry, but her body never defied him. Why? Why won't she complain? With his cruelty, she should be begging for him to stop or run away. She should be…

He tore off her undergarments, she was wet but not wet enough. Despite that he went in, it caused her to be in pain, he felt just by the way her body hardened from his intrusion. It was heavy, Kraig thought his chest was getting heavy upon hearing her muffled cries. When did it start to get his melody sound broken to his ears? He disregard the disgusting creeping emotion on him and continued to terrorize her.

He gritted his teeth and glared at her crying eyes, there was no hate on them. No judgment, only acceptance, to get away from her devouring eyes. He kissed her aggressively. Make me stop, don't just accept me. Get angry, push me away. Kraig's thoughts were colliding, it was screeching. He thought about holding her, tormenting her, making her cry like this, like how he imagined it would make him feel good. It was the opposite but he could not just stop. I want to abuse her the more compliant she is. This is bullshit.
