Chapter 323: § FORK §
Yanarym looked at Lyndon who was walking fast enough but slow enough for Tiana to catch up with him. At the right timing, he stopped to see if Tiana followed him, he turned his eyes and Yanarym met his gaze. It was short, the usual gaze he throws at her, he looked away in instant. He was cold—but Yanarym knew well, if he did not care, he would stay and watch.
Guide-sama: "You mean your little efforts are getting paid off?"
Might be or not. Yanarym replied dryly to Guide-sama, although it was a good call. That Lyndon was gradually opening a soft spot in her. Her lunch on the floor barely had a bite of anything and it was ruined. It was not giving her any good vibes at all. She looked at Ejai and the other girls who were with her.
Guide-sama: "Yanarym, don't get angry. Don't do anything you will regret later, alright?"
Shut up, Guide-sama.
Guide-sama: "..."
She sighed deeply and put down the utensils on her hand, her silence though, caused vexation to Ejai. She did her signature move which was grabbing her enemy's hair. She grabbed Yanarym's hair, roughly.
Guide-sama: "This girl is digging her grave, Yanarym, I'll go research for your next world for a while. Bye."
Yanarym narrowed her eyes on Ejai's shoes, which were stepping on the rice that she already blended in chayote; she barely had a bite on her rice with tinola. It was supposed to be a delicious meal with a fine watch of a lout ploy. However, her meal became a waste on the floor and her live theatre play was discontinued. The role of the bullied heroine was transferred to her.
"Ah," Yanarym reacted coldly when Ejai pulled her hair upwards, forcing her to get off of her chair. "That hurts." Yanarym reacted blandly.
"Of course, it hurts bitch!"
Yes, of course, why did I forget? Yanarym grumbled in her head. A heroine with a 'pure' heart cannot be harmed by these girls. If Tiana is in trouble one of the male leads would always be available to save her. I knew Lyndon would come, why did I not think that I could be the next target? How did I even not consider that lot of story would play as it did? Yanarym sighed deeply, it's hard to get comfortable, things will get astray the moment you lay down guards.
They were doing what was exactly written in the story. Tiana would get 'bullied' but not really because Lyndon would save the day and bring her butterflies in the stomach and skip the beat of her heart for being a hero. Safa would runaway cry from Lyndon's abrasive attitude. While the original suffered the setback of annoyed Ejai, the original would not weep but she would bleed. That was the only way for Ejai to stop when she saw the original's blood.
The original liked stealth. She was secretive, she did not like the spotlight. She preferred hidden and private. She liked staying in the corners, rather voiceless and invisible. She did not fight. For that, she was taken for granted by Ejai, and the little meanie Ejai liked the pleasure of seeing the original anguish. The original was afraid of Ejai and let the lid closed tight—pressure building, growing.
The original retaliated, she did brutal things. Very hateful deeds to them and to Tiana, the golden girl who cannot or should not be touched by anyone.
Ejai did bother the original when she had the chance, if Tiana was bullied, the original was bullied twice or worse. But it was a satisfying chapter for the readers, they liked to witness and torment the 'villain' of the plot. Which, allegedly, deserved and saw what was coming for her. Unfortunately for them though, they messed up with her at the very-very wrong time. They should have come at her during classes, not recess.
"You are stepping on my food." Yanarym redirected her eyes to look at Ejai, Ejai was glaring and grinning her lips as she stared back at Yanarym.
"What?" Ejai laughed angrily, "You're so arrogant!" She wanted to rip Yanarym's hair so she pulled it again which caused Yanarym to finally stand up. "Did I not tell you already? Kraig is not here to save your ass!" Ejai saw her winced which gave Ejai delightness.
"Ejai," Yanarym uttered in a low tone, she was smiling, but hurt. "Do you want to die?"
Ejai felt the cold breeze on her spine, she did not take a note of that and focused on torturing Yanarym. "Did you just threaten me, you fucking slut? You think you can touch me?! Dare if you can!" Ejai grabbed Yanarym's jaw and dug her sharp nails on Yanarym's pretty face. "You vixen! Ugh!"
…
Clang!
…
The situation escalated too fast.
Tray from someone fall on the ground, some utensils created noise too. They could not believe their eyes. Yanarym shoved a fork on Ejai's body with no hesitation…
"AHHHH!" The girl who was standing right beside Yanarym screamed her lungs out. Ejai blinked her eyes, loosened her grip on Yanarym's hair, and reached out for the fork gored at her stomach. There was a red stain seeping on the fabric of her fine elegant dress. It was not ketchup, that was for sure.
"Y-you… crazy…" Ejai cannot finish her words, she was shocked, terrified, she was stabbed by a fork! How could she comprehend?!
Yanarym was still smiling, her expression was relieved from the pain of Ejai's pain-inflicting pulling hair.
"You dared me," Yanarym said with a shrug and step forward to Ejai who reflexively stepped back but ended up falling on the floor because of her weaken knees.
"Ge- get… away! GET AWAY FROM ME! YOU FUCKING BITCH!" Yanarym stretched out her hand and Ejai shrunk on her knees began wailing for someone to save her. "NO! NO! HELP ME!" Yanarym used her pointed finger and tapped Ejai's cheek which was soaked with tears.
"I touched you, see? I can do much more. Dare me." Yanarym chuckled, it was a refreshing laugh minus the scene they witnessed she conducted to Ejai. Yanarym could become a fairy of beauty—she was still a beauty, a dangerous one. "Anyway, I think it's important to mention that I poisoned the fork." Yanarym said, "You will die in one hour."
"What?" Ejai gasped, she felt she was fallen into a deep abyss. Like the ground on her feet crumbled.
"You need to intake this. Every drop to detoxify the poison." Yanarym causally said and showed Ejai a vial of blue shimmering liquid. "One gram missing, you die. One minute late, you die."
"You think… you can be alive if I die?" Ejai trembled, she felt the poison affecting her. She was dizzy. "GIVE ME THAT!" She was ready to attack Yanarym to fight for her life when Yanarym threw the vial on the floor. Mixed with the shattered glass and food, blood, the soup, and the dirt.
"Opss!" Yanarym covered her mouth and eyes-widened stared at the floor with Ejai. "It slipped on my hand, I'm sorry."
"YOU SLUT! You threw it on the ground! I'm not blind!"
"You better start licking the floor, Ejai," Yanarym said concerned. "I only made one dose! Oh, my gosh!" She laughed loudly as soon as she finished her sentence and stood up. The smile faded, "You've got fifty-five minutes left to live."
Ejai could not revolt against her, she did what she could to survive and gathered the blue liquids on the floor. Crying, eating, cursing, "And for your information, if Kraig is here, it is you who is supposed to be lucky. Unfortunately, no one could stop me from doing the 'protecting' of myself."
Ejai was not listening, she was occupied eating the substance on the floor, but everyone in the cafeteria heard her statement. Interpret Yanarym's word that it was only Kraig who could rein her craziness.
Yanarym looked at Ejai and was delighted that the food she had would not go to waste. Ejai seemed to enjoy it and would gladly do the task and finish the rest. Should I tell her that it is not a cure, and there is no poison? Hmm, I will think about it once she was done and I had my entire lunch as well.
Guide-sama: "Is it over?"
Yeah, my scalp hurts.
Guide-sama: "Yanarym, you made her eat broken glass."
…I am the main villain of this world after all. You expect me to be nice to her?
Guide-sama: "You are making excuses. The original did not do that to Ejai."
I'm not wasting more time with others. Fear will make distance do the magic to drive people away.
Guide-sama: "..."
She patted her wrinkled dress and walked to the counter to order another set for lunch.
The other students stepped away from her giving her a free line passed on the counter. They knew she was a lunatic, she did crazy things to Tiana but she was well behaved when Kraig became her boyfriend. They initially thought she was the sane again—guess she was always insane.
