chapter 41 - 🔞
The day of the trip with Hyeri.
Hyun-min felt like he was back in school, heading out on ❀ Nоvеlігht ❀ (Don’t copy, read here) a field trip — his heart thumped with excitement, and he couldn't calm down. Sure, Kim Hyeri was close to his ideal type, but even so, he didn’t quite understand why he was this hyped.
“Is this... love?”
“Pfft!”
Even thinking about it made him cringe. Raised in a wealthy household, with decent looks to boot, Hyun-min had always dated women easily. He wasn’t some rookie who’d get giddy over a mere two-day-one-night trip.
“Yeah. Stick to your pace. No way I’m letting a twenty-year-old lead me around like a dog — that’s just pathetic.”
Until now, he’d been the one lowering himself for Hyeri. But not anymore. This trip to Busan — he’d use it to take back control. With a cloudless blue sky overhead, the trip already felt like it was blessed with good vibes.
“Over here! Heeere~!”
Hyeri waved excitedly the moment she spotted Hyun-min’s car. She wore short hot pants, wedge heels, and a shoulder-baring off-shoulder blouse — nothing too revealing, but her exposed collarbone alone was enough to draw every guy’s eyes in the area.
‘She’s really leaned into the vacation vibe.’
She’d been the one to suggest going to the ocean — and now she was dressed like she stepped out of a beach photoshoot.
“I took my time getting here, but you still beat me.”
“Hehe... I came early and checked out Haeundae Beach first. The weather is perfect today, Deputy Choi~”
“Glad we got good weather. Let’s head to the hotel and drop off our stuff?”
“Yeah, sounds good!”
Hyeri already knew the hotel’s name from their conversation — but seeing it in person was something else entirely. It was far more luxurious than she’d imagined. Supposedly the best hotel in Haeundae — and now she could see why.
“Woooow, this place is amazing.”
“Right? Especially the ocean view here — it’s next level. These rooms are hard to book.”
After checking in and heading up, the room opened into a massive glass wall that looked out over the sea — as if the whole ocean had been moved right into the room. No wonder Hyun-min bragged about it.
“Wow...”
Hyeri stood quietly, staring at the view. She was instantly charmed by the dreamlike suite.
“Deputy Choi... isn’t this really expensive? I feel kind of bad if you went overboard...”
Surprised by how nice the place was, she looked at him with an apologetic face.
“Don’t worry about it. This is nothing for me, haha.”
It was a pretty hefty expense, even for Hyun-min — but seeing Hyeri's pleased expression made it worth every penny. Nothing won a woman’s heart like a classy hotel, he thought.
“Well then, now that we’re in Haeundae, let’s go see the ocean properly, huh?”
As soon as Hyeri showed how much she liked the hotel, Hyun-min gained confidence and casually rested his hand on her shoulder. Because of the off-shoulder blouse, he could feel her soft yet firm skin directly under his palm. She flinched a little — but didn’t reject the touch.
“Okay, let’s go!”
– Swoooosh
Waves crashed softly onto the sand, the sunlight sparkling across the water. It wasn’t peak season, so there were no swimmers, but the beach was still dotted with couples laughing and taking pictures.
“So? You said you wanted to come here.”
Like other couples, Hyun-min and Hyeri strolled side by side along the shore.
“I feel so refreshed... it’s amazing. Hehe.”
Hyeri ran around like a child, unable to hide her excitement.
“What are you doing? Deputy Choi, let’s take some pictures too!”
“Haha, sure.”
Hyeri pulled out her phone and held it up. With the sea in the background, they took a close-up selfie together. Hyun-min used the chance to naturally take her hand.
“Ah...”
– Click, click
She blushed slightly at the touch, but didn’t let go. They smiled with the ocean behind them, captured on camera like any happy couple.
‘Heh. People really do loosen up on vacation.’
Since she wasn’t resisting his touch, Hyun-min casually moved his hand to her waist. Through the blouse, he could feel just how slim she was.
‘Damn... her waist is tight as fuck.’
“Eeeeh... that’s embarrassing, Deputy Choi~”
“What? You don’t like it?”
“It’s not that... I just... I’m gonna run to the bathroom real quick.”
“Huh? Yeah, okay. Go ahead.”
Smack.
‘Shit. The mood was perfect.’
Hyun-min smacked his lips in frustration. He had planned to go in for a kiss next.
‘So she’s not making it easy, huh?’
Still, as someone well-versed in dating, he knew exactly what Hyeri was doing — classic push-and-pull. She clearly liked him, but didn’t want to come off as easy, so she was playing coy. And Hyun-min wasn’t clueless enough to fall for it.
‘Pfft. She’s the one who asked to go on this trip — and now she’s playing hard to get?’
He didn’t mind it, though. He actually preferred girls like Hyeri — fox-like, teasing — the thrill of conquest was just that much sweeter.
‘And hey, we’ve got time.’
They’d be together until tomorrow. No need to rush. Better to go slow and steady.
Watching Hyeri walk off, Hyun-min grinned lecherously.
****
“What the hell? You said you didn’t like him, but you two looked like a picture-perfect couple.”
“Don’t tease me like that, Manager Lee~ that hurts my feelings.”
“So what? That was all an act? Hyeri, you should consider acting school. Seriously — Kim Hyeri, future Oscar winner.”
“Pffft! You’re the one who made me do it, and now you’re teasing me?”
Hyunwoo had arrived in Busan with Hyeri in his own car — and now he was tailing her and Choi Hyun-min from a distance. From the beginning, the entire trip had been Hyunwoo’s idea. Otherwise, there was no way Kim Hyeri — who no longer had any interest in Choi Hyun-min — would have proposed a trip with him.
“Well, we’ve got to give that bastard a taste of his own medicine. After all, he treated you like shit, didn’t he?”
“Damn right, Manager Lee! Can’t wait to see the look on his face when I dump him at the last second. Hehehe~”
Even if Hyunwoo had been the one to suggest it, Hyeri clearly enjoyed toying with a guy who liked her. That didn’t exactly speak well of her character.
‘I mean, I always knew she was sly underneath that innocent face, but damn. Her personality’s ruthless. Or maybe it’s the [Affection] I amplified through the system that’s making her like this?’
Whether it was her true nature or the effects of the system didn’t really matter anymore. What mattered was that Hyunwoo was having a hell of a good time watching the show.
“Anyway... nothing happened while you two were alone at the hotel earlier, right?”
“No, he kept brushing his hands against me like he thought I liked him. Ugh… it was so annoying.”
“Just accept light touching. If you push him away too hard, he might get all hurt and cut things off right away.”
“Yeah... so I held it in, okay? I did good, right?”
“You did good.”
“Then... praise meee, Manager Lee~”
Hyeri looked up at Hyunwoo with bright, expectant eyes. Her makeup and hair were clearly done up with extra effort — probably because they were in Haeundae. She didn’t usually wear thick makeup thanks to her flawless skin, but the red blush on her cheeks made her look extra cute.
“What am I supposed to praise you for?”
“Hee-ing…”
Her lips pouted in exaggerated protest when Hyunwoo pretended not to know.
Out of the corner of his eye, Hyunwoo spotted Choi Hyun-min, standing off in the distance staring blankly at the sea, clearly waiting for Hyeri. Just for show, Hyunwoo suddenly pulled her into his arms.
“Kyah!”
The sunlight sparkled against the pink lip tint on her lips. Hyunwoo roughly slammed his mouth down on hers, covering her cherry-like lips with his own.
– Smack, smooch, slurp
There was a hint of apricot — maybe from the tint. After tasting her wet lips thoroughly, Hyunwoo slid his tongue between them.
“Mmhp!”
Hyeri hadn’t expected such a deep, sticky kiss in a place crowded with people. She tensed up, but Hyunwoo was relentless, and her resistance quickly melted away. Like a fish in water, his tongue slithered deeper into her mouth, teasing every corner.
– Slurp… slurp… slurp
It wasn’t a light kiss — the lewd sounds of their tongues rubbing filled her ears. A thick, obscene deep kiss that went on and on.
“It’s… so intense…”
Hyeri wasn’t a virgin to kissing — she’d had a few light ones before. But this? This was the first time she’d ever experienced such a dirty, tongue-entangled, slippery kiss. Maybe that’s why it felt like her whole body was floating. Pleasure overtook her, completely.
“What the fuck, go get a motel. Why do that shit in public?”
“Yo, did you see the chick’s face? Fucking lucky bastard.”
“Oppa! What are you looking at right now?”
– Murmuring, whispering
As the kiss continued, the crowd couldn’t help but stare. Part of it was the spectacle, but a big part was Hyeri — her looks turned heads all on their own. Hyunwoo, however, didn’t give a damn. He kept ravaging her tongue without pause.
His hand was wrapped tightly around her narrow waist, completely cutting off any escape route. She had no choice but to take it. Eventually, the kiss — which felt like it might never end — finally broke.
– Slrrrp
A thick strand of spit stretched through the air before snapping.
“Haah… haah…”
Breathless, Hyeri stared at Hyunwoo in a daze. Her face was burning red, and even the nape of her neck was flushed. The pink tint she’d carefully applied was now smeared all over from being sucked and bitten.
“Was that enough praise for you?”
“...”
She lowered her head, too embarrassed to make eye contact. Right now, she looked every bit the twenty-year-old college girl.
“Hyun-min’s probably still waiting. You should get back.”
“Okay…”
“Ping me on KaTalk later.”
Still overwhelmed by the kiss, Hyeri slowly walked back to Choi Hyun-min.
“Deputy Choi, did you wait long?”
“Huh? No, not really. Just looking at the ocean makes the time fly.”
He pretended to be fine, but truthfully, Hyun-min had debated calling her dozens of times when she hadn’t come back from the bathroom.
‘What the hell was she doing in there?’
But it’s not like he could scold her for taking too long. He forced himself to stay composed.
But then—
“Hyeri... what happened to your lips? They’re all smudged.”
Her lip tint, which had been flawless when she left, was now totally smeared. It caught his attention immediately.
‘Looks like she got sucked on or something.’
He was exactly right.
“Oh, water splashed up when I was washing my hands. Everything got messed up. Hng... does my face look weird?”
“Huh? No, not at all. You still look pretty, don’t worry about it.”
A little smudged lipstick couldn’t hide Hyeri’s beauty. Hyun-min shook off his suspicions and gently took her hand, interlacing his fingers tightly with hers — like he’d never let her go again.
“Ahem... should we head over there next?”
He cleared his throat, a little flustered.
“Yeah. I want to see the ocean up close.”
The two of them strolled along the beach for a while, just like any affectionate couple.
****
“Was the food good?”
By now, dusk had fallen over the Haeundae coastline. The sun had set, and night crept in. Hyun-min had reserved a nice Japanese restaurant nearby — and thanks to the booking, they were seated without having to wait.
“Yeah, it was sooo delicious! Hehehe.”
Ten bucks a piece for omakase sushi — there was no way it wouldn’t be good. A fancy hotel and a high-end sushi course — Hyun-min’s wild spending was a clear sign of how badly he wanted to sleep with Hyeri.
Along with the meal, he ordered sake and naturally offered her a glass.
“You can’t have food this good without good alcohol.”
“Umm… I’m not very good with alcohol…”
Hyeri glanced nervously at the glass in front of her.
“This one’s not strong. Just try one sip.”
Reluctantly, she took a sip on his recommendation.
“Waaah… this is the first time I’ve had something this tasty.”
“Hahaha, right? I drink it now and then too. It’s clean and smooth.”
The first drink was the hardest. One glass led to another, and before they knew it, the two had polished off the whole bottle. The sound of waves drifted faintly in the background, and the mood of the trip was reaching its peak.
“Well then… it’s getting late. Should we head back to the hotel?”
“Ah... okay...”
Blushing, her face visibly red, Hyeri lowered her head shyly.
And finally — the moment Hyun-min had been waiting for had arrived.
