"Such power...." Vegapunk was almost left spechless when he saw how destructive the Railguns were.

His eyes widen as he peek through a peep window on one side of the wall.

After the Railguns finished its charging, it suddenly launched a projectiles which was a thick, disk-shaped conductive metal guided by the rails itself toward the target.

The speed of each projectiles was so fast it even left a trail of blue lights, the remains of electricity coursed through it. He even wondered if Borsalino beam was the one launched from the Railgun, and it gave him tons of ideas!

And the destruction left behind by such powerful projectiles wasn't something to scoffed at. The projectiles didn't even lodged at the target's ship like a regular cannon, it pierced through it And destroyed the reinforced hull of such huge galleon type of ship!

Vegapunk has never seen anything like those type of weapon before other than several types of Devil Fruit user abilities such as Borsalino with his laser beam.

"Kimimaro! How much power behind each projectile?" Vegapunk turned away from the peephole and saw the young Vice Admiral squatted right behind one of Railgun inspecting it.

Kimimaro frown slightly as he run his finger coursing through the deck wooden floor where the Railgun pivot installed, however, he still gave the Doctor an answer,

"at lowest is 50 megajoule and the highest we can achieve is 132 megajoule, Doctor. More than that, this ship couldn't handle the recoil." He said as he stood back slowly while shaking his head.

"Incredible, may i ask with all of this kind of technologies on board, why are you still using a standard Marine ship? Is there any reason for it?"

Indeed, just like Dr.Vegapunk said, Kimimaro still use the general issued Warship from HQ despite it already has a propeller behind. The ship was made from reinforced wood and it still has 3 standard main masts commonly found on regular Warship.

Kimimaro smiled helplessly and yet, he still answered, "You might already notice it Doctor, a peasant is innocent until he found mountain of gold."

Vegapunk's face turned solemn hearing Kimimaro analogy, as he himself had experienced it and knew what would happen if someone covet Kimimaro's invention.

"I still gave them my schematic though, despite it won't work without Enel. But at least i get some times for breather." Kimimaro shook his head in resigned manner.

Vegapunk approached the young man and patted his shoulder gently, he said, "I understand, it's hard. But thats a living right? Whats the fun in it without some spice?"

For a while both of them looked at each other until they laughed merilly. Their bond now was closer than before as they seems to have a tacit understanding between two smart geeks.

"Shall we go for breakfast Doctor?"

"Sure! After that, i'll reorganize my notes here." Vegapunk raised his thick notebook with a grin.
