"I see, keep your vigilance up, nothing should happen to the prisoner! Check their condition once more, make sure they're bound tight!" Kimimaro said sternly to his crew 

Currently, Kimimaro along with Kuzan and Sengoku were on their way toward the biggest, and most secure prison in the world, Impel Down.

Their mission was to send the Pirates who had failed in the Marineford invasion a week ago. the total of arrested pirates reached 218 out of 5000 initial numbers, as for the rest, they either successfully ran away or died at Marineford.,

From their leader, Shiki the Golden Lion, Avalo Pizarro, Vasco Shot, and even Sanjuan Wolf who had been towed behind their ship due to his massive size, they were all bound by Kairoseki(seastone) to render their Devil Fruit ability useless.

The Marine's luck was not all good, Brynndi World and his brother had actually escaped at that time when Sanjuan Wolf had fallen from the sky followed by the arrival of three Admiral! 

Byrnndi World might be a musclehead, but, his brother was not! He was one of the smartest bunch even among the Pirates. After World saved him from the falling giant, he immediately saw the situation might turned south, he insisted that they had to leave immediately. 

And so, the Marines had to eat their own hat as one of the most notorious Pirates managed to escape.

Surprisingly, Douglas Bullet was not one of Shiki's companions, he disdained joining forces with others due to his pride and strength, the reason why he was at Marineford was only to prove to himself that he was superior to Roger by wreaking havoc towards those who had captured the latter, which obviously failed.

as for another reason he was there at the time of the invasion was much simpler, it was all just a coincidence as Shiki himself confirmed that he didn't know the former would be at the scene.

The Gate of Justice was a massive gate that stood at 3-way points of World government facilities called the judiciary island Enies Lobby, Marine Headquarters Marineford, and Impel Down prison. it formed a triangle between the three locations.

"OPEN THE GATE! LET THE CONVOY PASS!" Said one of the Marine officers with binoculars at the 3rd gate of justice.

Kimimaro stood on the bow of the second ship's convoy of seven, behind Sengoku's ship ahead. He saw the huge Gate of Justice with its tip hiding behind clouds slowly open. 

"These current is so interesting..." Said someone from Kimimaro's back.

"It's called Tarai Current, you must've been new here right? Come, let me explain..." Said other voices. 

Kimimaro smiled hearing his soldiers' discussion behind his back.

after the convoy passed through the Gate of Justice, a massive structure resembling a tower made out of stone appeared in everyone's vision.

Impel Down was the World Government's maximum-security prison for the most dangerous criminals and pirates.

It has a tower-like structure submerged underwater whose foundation is at the very bottom of the sea bed. Due to it being built within the Calm Belt, the entire structure was constantly surrounded by gigantic Sea Kings swimming below the water. Along with these beasts, the prison was also guarded by a force of Marine battleships surrounding its water.

Finally, the convoy had arrived, on top of Impel Down's massive dock stood lots of Its guards wearing black military uniforms and black police hat with winged skull as its emblem. 

At the center stood an ordinary-looking old man with a very large mustache that connected to his sideburn. besides him there stood 2 huge men, one had a face that resembled a mandril and wore bat wings and horn-like ornaments on his head and the other man had a long face with a wide-bridged nose, a full-lipped mouth seen perpetually smoking a big cigar, there was a long big Katana rested on his waist.
