Before Xiang Beifei entered the Heavenly Connection realm, when he met the Ghostly Visage with Ghost Whiskers and the Meat-Winged Monster, he did not see their Dao embryo. One reason was that Brain Deficient and Ye Ji were only in the late phase of orifice transforming, having not yet communicated with the Heavenly Dao, and another was that at the time, Xiang Beifei hadn't yet comprehended what Dao was.

Li Qianluo's voice rang out in Xiang Beifei's mind once more: "Masters of various races at the Heavenly Connection level are familiar with each other, and your identity from the Congji Abyss is too sensitive. It's better to disguise your cultivation level as late-phase orifice transforming so as not to arise suspicion and to fish in troubled waters more effectively. You can disguise yourself, right?"

"Yes."

"Are there only two of you from the Transforming Clan here?" Jiao Yingguang asked.

Li Qianluo immediately responded, "This place is too dangerous. We got separated from our clan elders and are currently searching for them."

"I see. I happen to know the elders of your Transforming Clan. You can accompany us for now, for mutual support." Jiao Yingguang said proudly.

"That would be great, thanks." Li Qianluo cheerfully responded.

After a moment, Jiao Yingguang asked, "What's with this statue, have you figured it out yet?"

"Don't know, we just got here." Li Qianluo replied.

"Shall we go up to see what the statue looks like specifically?" she suggested, "Perhaps there's more to this statue than meets the eye?"

"Okay."

Jiao Yingguang nodded slightly and gestured to his subordinates.

Xiang Beifei and Li Qianluo immediately leapt into the air, slowly flying upward, followed by the masters of the Panjiao Race.

"Do you recognize those two Heavenly Connection masters?" Li Qianluo quietly asked.

"No, I don't recognize most of the masters here." Xiang Beifei had not even known that so many masters would gather here just a few hours earlier.

"I knew you were too ill-informed. That tall, thin one with a goatee and dark face is called Jiao Shkai, and that brightly dressed woman is Jiao Dihong. Both are quite strong, and it would take quite an effort to fight them." Li Qianluo said.

"You seem to know quite a bit?"

"I did my homework before I left! I recognize almost all the Heavenly Connection masters." Li Qianluo hummed confidently.

Xiang Beifei was somewhat surprised; this girl was rough around the edges but clearly meticulous and even did her homework, which was quite commendable.

Their flying speed was not fast, almost leisurely rising higher. They soon saw the statue's knees, then thighs, and then arms. "There was a black shadow just now."

Xiang Beifei had not discerned anything in that thick fog. He flew forward a distance, looked up, and said, "It should have gone that way."

"You two, go up and check." Jiao Yingguang said to Xiang Beifei and Li Qianluo.

His tone was even, more of a coercion than a suggestion.

In his view, his commands as a Heavenly Connection stage being were not to be defied by two mere orifice-transforming members of the Transforming Clan.

Li Qianluo readily nodded: "Alright."

Xiang Beifei glanced at Jiao Yingguang and, not inclined to say much, proceeded upward. Jiao Yingguang and his companions followed closely, not taking it lightly.
