When "God" Decides To Start Over

In the next two days, Li Xiu continued to enter the Trial Ground as usual to work on his attributes. The Hero Trial Ground had been cleared by him countless times, and he could almost walk through it with his eyes closed.

"Your time has come. Swear loyalty to me and become my slave, and you might have a chance to live," the Godslayer Shrine suddenly appeared before Li Xiu as he was resting, with a somewhat smug feeling.

"Scram." Li Xiu unceremoniously slapped it to the ground.

After the Godslayer Shrine stood up from the ground, it shook with anger, and Li Xiu's name appeared directly on its back.

Li Xiu instantly felt his vision go black. Fortunately, he was prepared, and with a handsome single-handed ground pose, he successfully avoided being slammed to the ground.

Looking up, he indeed found himself in Black Death City once again, with a Blood Moon appearing in the sky as expected.

The moon was a terrifying blood red, as if it was about to drip blood.

Li Xiu glanced around but did not notice any terrifying magic spirits appearing. He dared not be negligent and ran to the small square to find the stone house mentioned by the Unparalleled King.

The stone house was actually easy to find, just behind the small square. It was a two-story building and looked quite unique. Despite being made of stone, it had an artistic vibe.

The tops of the doors and windows were all arched, and although the walls were dilapidated, traces of paint could be vaguely seen, suggesting that the walls were once a different color.

There were three stone steps in front of the door. On the top tier of the steps, on either side of the door, were two stone lion sculptures over a foot tall, looking like Gate Guardian Beasts, one squatting on each side.

The stone lions' materials matched those of the stone bricks used to build Black Death City, likely made of the same material.

Li Xiu stood guard at the door and did not enter immediately. He planned to survey the situation first, intending to enter the house only after the terrifying magic spirits appeared.

If the Godslayer Shrine was bluffing, he wouldn't need to risk entering the house.

According to the Unparalleled King, the inside of this house was certainly not peaceful and probably just as fraught with danger.

Clang! Clang!

Soon enough, Black Death Demons appeared, just like last time, appearing as Flowing Colors Quality right from the start, without any ordinary quality Black Death Demons.

Li Xiu did not rush forward, instead summoning his magic spirit and standing guard at the door of this stone house, prepared to kill the Black Death Demons when they rushed over.

Wave after wave of Black Death Demons charged, precisely like the last time in Blood Moon Black Death City. An astonishing number of high-quality Black Death Demons came one by one to die, and Li Xiu was picking up Demon Cores until his hands were sore.

This time, the lineup of Li Xiu's magic spirits was vastly stronger than the last, and these E-level Black Death Demons posed no threat to him, purely coming as easy prey.

"It's a pity there are only E-level Black Death Demons in Black Death City. It would be better to get some higher-grade Demon Cores." Li Xiu did not use the non-lethal bombs yet; he planned to save them for the final Radiant Black Death Demon and then select a few other Radiant Black Death Demons to hit with the non-lethal bombs to see if he could get some good loot.

Wave after wave of Black Death Demons came adorably to die, and by the end, the pile of Demon Cores and rings beside Li Xiu was like a small hill, dazzling and eye-catching.

After killing waves of Black Death Demons, Li Xiu remained vigilant, not daring to relax in the slightest, yet he still didn't find the terrifying magic spirit spoken of by the Godslayer Shrine.

Without the terrifying magic spirit appearing, Li Xiu dared not wander, clinging to the stone house entrance without leaving, and naturally unable to find the smallest stone house.

Up until the last wave of Black Death Demons appeared, there was still no sign of that terrifying magic spirit.

"Could it be that the Godslayer Shrine was bluffing? Is there really no such terrifying magic spirit?" Li Xiu had some doubts in his heart.

However, on further thought, it didn't seem right. If there was no terrifying magic spirit, why would the Godslayer Shrine send him into Blood Moon Black Death City? It wouldn't give him benefits for nothing; the Godslayer Shrine surely wouldn't do such a thing.

Seeing the Radiant Black Death Demon appear, and with a long roar, a wave of Radiant Black Death Demons like a tide surged from four directions on the long street, converging after the small square and charging fiercely.

A Jedi Knight's Blood Light Slash cleaved a swath of Radiant Black Death Demons in half, Demon Cores scattering to the ground.

Demigod Shana shot continuously, each bullet taking out a Black Death Demon, practically collecting souls according to a Death God's list.

Once on the Death God's list, there was no way not to die.

This time, Li Xiu did not choose to let Demigod Shana duel the Radiant Black Death Demon, simply guarding the stone house door and killing as many Black Death Demons as charged up.

He aimed to gather as many Demon Cores, Skill Rings, and Talent Gemstones as possible to take back, as these would be worth money in the future.

After absorbing a large amount of black smoke, Li Xiu suddenly felt warmth inside his body; his undead talent had advanced to A-level, providing one hundred percent immunity to Black Death Light.

"An A-level undead talent already grants a hundred percent immunity to Black Death Light. What about S-level? A hundred and twenty percent immunity? Is there any difference from being one hundred percent immune?" Li Xiu was quite curious about how a growth-type talent would evolve upon reaching S-level.

He stood at the door inhaling the black smoke; even if he didn't want to, there was no other option. So much black smoke from the Black Death Demons had permeated all of Black Death City, leaving not a single clean place.
