Chapter 1102: It Has Been A While, Sister Rolia
Millie looked up at me with tearful eyes, "Big sister no play anymore?"
I reached out to pat her head with one hand while holding my egg with the other, "We'll be in this city for a few days at least so I'll still come find you to play, ok?"
"Big sister promise?"
I chuckled, "Yes, yes. Don't worry, I'll come and find you tomorrow, alright?"
She nodded her head quickly.
I stepped back and gestured at her family behind her, "Now go on, your family is waiting for you."
She waved, "Bai bai, big sister!"
I waved back, watching the little girl run off while still waving at me the entire way.
So cute.
The rest of the Mercenaries had already dispersed including that Academy graduate guy who was the first to disappear the moment we went past the gates.
As for us, we went to the Guild to report the completion of our mission to receive the reward before we moved to the next event on our schedule… Paying a certain Marchioness a visit.
"Umm… Aster? Shouldn't we be looking for an inn?" Lisa asked.
"Oh, don't worry, I already have our accommodations secured while we're here," I assured her, leading the way towards the mansion at the top of the hill.
Emilia turned to me with a worried look, "Err… Boss? If I'm not wrong… The only place this road leads to is the city lord's manor, isn't it? Are you sure we're going the right way?"
"Don't worry about it, Emilia~ Trust me~"
She obeyed and we soon reached the front gates of the manor where several guards were keeping watch.
All of them immediately straightened themselves with a few of them gripping the handles of their swords when they saw us approach.
"Halt! Who goes there?!" One of the guards shouted.
I curtsied at the guards, "Good evening. We are here to meet with the Marchioness. Please let her know that Aster is here to meet her."
The guard frowned at me, "You come here this late at night expecting an audience with the Marchioness? Are you alright in the head?"
"I would very much suggest that you relay my message to the Marchioness instead of saying anything more lest you end up regretting it later."
The guard opened his mouth again before another guard pulled him back by the shoulder to take his place.
"Please forgive my friend. You said you are Miss Aster, am I correct?"
"Lady," Katsuki was quick to correct him.
The guard bowed his head, "Forgive me, Lady Aster, correct? We will relay that message to the Marchioness immediately. In the meantime, could we ask for you to wait here?"
I nodded at him and that guard quickly went past the gates to run into the manor, disappearing inside to find the Marchioness.
Emilia turned to me, "Since when are you familiar with the Marchioness?"
"Oh, I didn't tell you girls? I guess I forgot, teehee~"
Emilia looked like she was going to complain to me until the guard returned with a rather familiar woman that also has a slave collar around her neck following behind him.
I recognised her immediately and waved at Unerolia's personal slave, "Hello Esmeral, it's been a while hasn't it?"
She bowed, "It indeed has been a while, Lady Aster. Lady Lehcaruoc is waiting inside for you, please follow me."
The face of the guard that had tried to stop me earlier paled and I could tell he was definitely glad that he did not say what he had wanted to say before the other guard stopped him.
We went past the gates and entered the lavish halls of the manor that was Unerolia's house.
Since I've been here before, none of it surprised me but the others in my party were looking around the halls and marvelling at the sight of the decor.
Well… To be more exact, my lovers were merely just checking the place out since they were already used to even more lavish decorations back in our old house while Carrey was the only one gaping at the lavishness of the decor.
Esmeral turned back to us, "Would everyone in your party be meeting with the Marchioness, Lady Aster?"
Ah, I guess this was her subtle way of questioning if it was alright for everyone in my party to know of my relationship with her.
I didn't even need to answer her as Katsuki spoke up in my stead.
"Mistress. Carrey and I will prepare your room for you while you meet with the Marchioness. I will also take this chance to teach her how to prepare your room for you as well."
Ah, that's a good idea, Katsuki~
I nodded at her and she proceeded to lead Carrey away from us, presumably to the guest room that Mother and I stayed in while we visited Unerolia the last time we were here.
I guess no one was going to even question why she even knew where to go and Esmeral also didn't stop her.
Assuming that the remaining members of my party would be following me, she resumed walking to guide us to where Unerolia was.
The other girls behind me were visibly nervous because they now knew we were going to meet face to face with a Marchioness and just because I was feeling a little mischievous, I decided not to tell them anything just to surprise them.
We finally reached an ornate door which I remembered was supposed to be the entrance to the study room which Esmeral opened for us to step through. Help us out by reading on M|V|LEM5PYR.
The first thing I noticed when I entered the room was the fact that Sister Rolia was seated behind the desk with several piles of papers stacked on the desk in front of her.
The next thing I noticed was that she had jumped up on the desk and knocked one of the piles of paper onto the floor before she leapt towards me like a wolf pouncing on its prey.
"Asssssttteeeerrrrr!!!!" She squealed, flying towards me.
Before she could reach me however, Odeta had suddenly stepped in front of me to thrust out her hands in an attempt to stop her, most likely more out of instinct or reflex than an actual conscious decision to stop her.
To the Marchioness's credit, she reacted by diverting her hands to grab onto Odeta's wrists and shoving her back instead of getting caught.
As expected of the sword-brained cousin of Justinia I guess?
Sister Rolia glared at Odeta, "Who the heck are you? What are you doing?"
Odeta was still surprised by how Sister Rolia moved so she wasn't able to answer immediately.
I gave my Amrap a reassuring pat on her shoulder, "It's alright, Odeta, she isn't trying to hurt me. It's been a while, Sister Rolia."
The Marchioness's demeanor changed again as she turned back to me, "Wahhhh!! You remembered!! I was afraid you weren't going to call me Sister Rolia like before! Come and give your Sister Rolia a huuuuug!!!"
She rushed up to me again and this time there was no one to stop her so she hugged me tightly.
Ironically, I was now taller than her so she ended up burying her face in between my boobs.
"Ehehehe~ You're such a big futa now, Aster~ I still remember when you were such a cute futa that was only this tall, you know?" She giggled, her face still buried in my bosoms. "Did you miss your Sister Rolia?"
"It's not like we didn't see each other for the past few years either, right? You came to visit Justinia in the capital too and we did see each other during those visits…"
"Ehehehe~ But it was only just for short meetings! You should have told me you were coming earlier! I would have prepared a much grander welcome for you!"
"You mean like the one you prepared for Justinia which she ended up not coming for anyway? No thanks…"
She pushed herself out of my boobs to pout at me, "Pfft, I already learned my lesson already, ok? Anyway, you will be staying here for a few days at least, right? Actually, did you come all the way here just to visit me?"
I giggled, "Ehehe, sorry to disappoint you but I'm just passing through on my way to Aerialla Academy and I thought you would be upset if I don't at least come here to tell you about it before I leave."
"You're damn right I would be!! I don't even see sister Justi enough! I would have personally gone to Aerialla Academy to find you if you did that!"
A cough came from behind her, prompting us to turn to see Esmeral busy picking up the papers that Sister Rolia had knocked on the floor earlier.
"Your duties will not permit that, Mistress… Or do I need to remind you what happened the last time you avoided doing what you were supposed to do?"
The Marchioness shuddered, "I get it already… Stop teasing me about that time, Esmeral, you meanie… Also… Are you going to introduce me to them, Aster?"
Oh right, I guess I should, shouldn't I?
