Map of the Ring of the World

Major Ports of the Ring of the World and Northern Islands

Drawn by Bartholomew Myrddin for Drumanagh Maritime Consortium, 388 Anno Astrum

Cartographer's notes:

Don't fly Drumanagh colors when approaching Antiochia. The port and surrounding seas are controlled by pirates. Trade is lucrative for those that can keep it, though.

Be prepared for long delays through the straits at Byzantium and Chalcedon. The Thracian and Phrygian customs officials don't play nice with each other.

New Carthage is always looking for food. The ground is poison even without the cursed winds off Sahara. Generally offers textiles and horses in trade.

I still disagree with the council's decision to use the Language for our maps instead of Draigic. We're making maps for us, not the Italians.

Don't bother taking textiles to Sarmatia. The Ursi seem almost allergic to clothing, even in the northern winters.

Trade in Gades or the Isle of Dogs, not Sala. Dealing with the winds off Sahara isn't worth it.

The crater at Bethlehem is empty.
