Chapter 353: The Great Naked Distraction (R-18)
Cassian hadn't seen Lumine fully naked since they started dating—this was the first time, and even now, the water blurred everything below her stomach. He wasn't in a rush, though, her smooth, muscular white back clear enough to catch his eye. "Told ya," he said with a grin, flicking a bit of water her way, just enough to make her yelp and shoot him a glare. "Relax, Lumine. Nobody's out here caring."
"Easy for you to say," she muttered, flinching slightly from the cold splash on her back. She crouched, scooping water over her shoulders to wash off the grime and stress, still facing away. Her blush was fading, but she kept her eyes off Cassian's, muttering, "You're way too chill about this."
Cassian let out a low chuckle, leaning back against a slick rock under the waterfall's mist. "I've been in rougher spots than this. Least here it's just us and the river." His voice softened as he scrubbed the dirt off his skin, no enemy blood on him, but his own wounds—despite healing fast—left him grubbier than most. "You holding up okay? After the fight, I mean."
Lumine's hands paused, her mind drifting to the battle's chaos—swords clashing, yells, blood everywhere. She shook it off, focusing on the water running down her arms. "Yeah, I'm good. Just… wiped out. Glad we're here and not there."
"Same," Cassian said, his usual swagger fading for a moment. He glanced at her, then grinned, lightening the mood. "So, you washing your hair or just staring at the water like it's spilling secrets?"
Lumine rolled her eyes, splashing him with a bigger wave this time.
"Piss off," she said, a small laugh sneaking out. She tipped her head back, letting the waterfall drench her hair. As the early sun hit, Cassian caught a glimpse of her perfectly shaped breasts glistening in the light. He stepped closer, drawn in.
Grabbing a handful of her tit, Cassian caught Lumine off guard. She spun toward him, confused and a bit jumpy. "What the hell?" she asked. Cassian gave it a squeeze, rubbing with a smug grin. "Just helping you scrub up."
"Didn't ask for it," Lumine said, half-amused, not pulling away as she shifted closer, away from the waterfall's spray.
"Doesn't matter. It's like an unspoken rule—guys and girls bathing together help each other out," Cassian said, his hands sliding down from her chest to her waist, still washing.
Lumine raised an eyebrow. "How'd you know that? Been scrubbing other chicks too?" She felt him pull her closer, something poking her thigh. She knew what it was but didn't glance down.
Cassian smirked. "What if I said yeah? You gonna skip helping me clean up?" He'd already told Lumine he was to sexy to be hers alone, but hell, a little jealousy never hurt.
"What, was this other chick that Lady Katherine of yours?" Lumine asked, not looking pissed as Cassian hesitated, unsure if he should spill the truth. She'd figure it out eventually, so he nodded. "Yeah, well… yup."
Her chest was pressed against his now, and seeing she wasn't shoving him off, Cassian relaxed. Lumine grinned wide. "Knew it! I could tell something was up with you two. But damn, how'd you pull her? She's a stunner, like my big sister's level."
"Hey, you're hot too, just not all mature like her. I said it before I say it now, I'd fight a damn war for you," Cassian said, grinning but sweating a bit inside, hoping she wouldn't dig deeper and find out he'd hooked up with her big sister too. No telling how that'd go.
Lucky for Cassian, Lumine was clueless about her sister, grinning at him without a care as his hands gripped her ass. Her arms draped over his shoulders, and she leaned in, her voice turning flirty. "Really? You'd go to war for me?"
Cassian smirked, pulling her a bit closer in the shallow water, the waterfall's mist still spraying around them. "Hell yeah, I'd swing a sword for you. Maybe even two."
Lumine tried to laugh it off, splashing his chest. "Big talk for a guy just grabbing my ass." Her fingers playing with his wet hair, but her voice wavered as his hands kept working, the water's flow against her spread cheeks sending a shiver up her spine. "You better back that up with some real hero shit, Cassian."
"Real deal right here," Cassian said, his hands sliding up Lumine's waist, still kneading her ass with a firm grip. "Dropped three higher-circle warriors last week, and one just hours ago."
"Yeah, I know," Lumine said, eyeing his lips, her voice tinged with impatience. "So, you gonna kiss me or what? Or did you drag me out here just to scrub dirt off?"
Cassian grinned, diving into a kiss without hesitation, his lips crashing against hers. They'd been fighting side by side for weeks, and making out had become their thing—Lumine was damn good at it. She sucked on his lips, her tongue slipping in, while Cassian matched her, his tongue tangling with hers. Her hands grabbed his face, pulling him closer, her hard nipples brushing against his chest as she pressed her stomach against his stiff length. Cassian groaned into the kiss, his hands needily squeezing her buttocks, spreading them under the water, the current teasing her soft skin and making her breath hitch.
Lumine shifted against Cassian, her mind half on their kiss and half on his hands gripping her, the cold water hitting her skin. She pulled back, a bit shy, muttering, "Can you also kiss me… somewhere else?"
Cassian grinned, grabbing her face to make her look up. Her red cheeks were kinda funny to him. "Ain't an inch of you I can't kiss, my love. Just ask."
She still looked bashful, but his smug grin kept her talking. "You know, back at Surock village, at the village head's house?"
"Yeah…" Cassian nodded, already guessing where this was going. She kept on, her face getting redder. "You massaged me, said I owed you kisses…" Cassian smirked wider, not stopping her as she got more flustered. "And one thing led to another, you were kissing me down there. Can you do it again?" She finished, staring down, her face full tomato red.
Cassian chuckled. "Well, I'll be delighted to." He scooped her up by the thighs, carrying her over to a boulder.
