Chapter 327: Between bluffs (R-18)

Kissing a man who wasn't her husband, stroking his member, letting him touch her breasts and folds, and orgasming—Ravees had far surpassed her guilt's limits. Cassian watched her fumble with her clothes, amused, but not wanting her to break down in tears. "So, I win, right? I only came once, and it proves you're a pervert too, since, you know…" he teased. She froze, looking at him with teary eyes. Cassian paused, a bit worried she might actually cry, and softened his tone. "Came twice…"

"No, I didn't…" she muttered, eyes cast downward, clearly lying. "I only came once. You didn't win or prove anything…"

Cassian smirked, amused, watching her struggle to tuck her breasts back into her shirt while failing to pull her pants over her curves. "I can prove it again if you want…"

"As if you proved anything before," she shot back, recovering slightly from her guilt or just focused on refuting him. "There's nothing to prove. I'm not a pervert. I only came once because you made me. It doesn't prove anything…"

Cassian nearly blurted out that she'd sworn she'd never come before, making him the grand champion of her first. But he held back—guilt was a mood-killer, and with his slick experience, he knew keeping her just shy of a guilt trip was his ticket to winning tonight.

"Well, you've forced my hand…" Cassian said with a cheeky grin. Before she could react, his hands slid down her shoulders, and—bam—she was on the bed. She let out a little "eek," quickly covering her mouth, staring wide-eyed as she whispered, "What's your deal?" Cassian, already between her legs like he'd teleported there, had them spread in a flash and his head perfectly positioned, ready for action.

"Enough—I have nothing to prove to you." Her words were sharp, but her body betrayed her. Though she could have shattered bones with the strength of a Circle Warrior, her thighs remained slack, trembling as she feebly pushed against Cassian's shoulders. A pathetic resistance—one that required no magic, no skill, only the will to stop him. And yet, her hands barely stirred him.

Guilt coiled like a serpent in her chest. This was beyond betrayal. If she allowed this to continue, there would be no absolution—not from the gods, not from her husband. Not even from herself.

Cassian smirked as he looked her over. Her trousers hung open, revealing the soft curves of her lower stomach. The damp curls there glistened in the low light, looking inviting to touch and kiss. Her scent filled the air - warm, heavy, and tempting enough to make his mouth water.

Cassian felt her hands push weakly against his shoulders - not even close to using her real strength. It was pathetic coming from a Circle Warrior, and he smirked against her skin. His mouth moved lower, teeth scraping lightly just above where she wanted him most. Her hips jerked in response despite herself.

Ravees clamped her teeth into her lip, silencing any betraying sounds. Cassian wasn't what frightened her - it was the risk of discovery. Katherine slept barely few steps away. While Katherine and Cassian clearly had no qualms about fidelity, Ravees still cared - both about her marriage vows and about being seen in this compromising position.

The danger went deeper. Cassian was Katherine's lover. If she woke to find him between Ravees' thighs... Ravees didn't want to imagine the consequences. At least if only she and Cassian knew about tonight, she could manage the fallout - confess to her husband on her own terms. But if Katherine discovered them like this - legs spread, breath coming in ragged gasps, body responding despite her guilt - she might not live long enough for confession. Katherine would have her shipped straight to the bloodiest frontlines against the Cult of Silas, where few will be able return sane, let alone alive.

Ravees' resistance weakened as Cassian's mouth worked its way down her stomach, his tongue lapping up the mingled sweat and arousal. His strong hands hooked under her thighs, lifting them onto his shoulders as her legs finally stopped struggling - the last of her strength melting under his persistent kisses.

With only one hand still feebly pushing at his head, she realized something: Katherine waking up would ruin them both. Her half-hearted shove turned into a weak grip in his hair as she forced out a threat through clenched teeth: "Keep going and I'll wake up our lady myself." The anger in her eyes didn't quite match the breathless tremor in her voice.

That gave Cassian pause—was she bluffing? His smirk stayed, but his eyes flickered with doubt. Would she really risk it? The last thing he needed was Katherine catching him like this. He wanted katherine desperate for him, reckless enough to throw caution away—but not yet. Not like this.

"Go ahead. Try it," he dared, watching her wavering glare. Then, with a low, deliberate taunt: "You saw her have sex with me, didn't you? And she knew you are watching, everytime we do."

Ravees froze mid-motion. If she went through with this, she'd be admitting Katherine didn't care about Cassian's infidelity - which would only embolden him further. But she had to call his bluff. "I don't care," she hissed, turning toward Katherine's sleeping form. "I'm waking her-"

Cassian saw the tendons in her neck tense - she wasn't bluffing. His hand clamped over her mouth before the first syllable left her lips. "Mmmph! Mmm'laaaay!" her muffled cry barely escaped through his fingers.

"Quiet! Don't wake her!" Cassian hissed, panic edging his voice. "I'll stop...just stop!"

Ravees' pulse hammered in her throat - shocked that Cassian had actually been bluffing. With his hand still clamped over her mouth, she managed a muffled "Mmm'reh-lee?" Her wide eyes searched his face for confirmation.

Cassian gave a tight nod, but in his haste to silence her, he'd put them in an even more compromising position. Her legs still hooked over his shoulders, his sudden lunge forward had folded her nearly in half beneath him - their bodies pressed together in an unmistakably intimate way. Neither had noticed in the heat of the moment.

"I'll stop," he whispered urgently, his breath hot against her ear. "Just...don't wake her up." The threat in his voice had been replaced by something closer to pleading.
