Primaris Space Marines represent the next vital step in the Empire's expansion plan.

Guilliman, with his strategic brilliance, recognized their importance in swiftly eliminating the orc warlords and the space necromancer dynasty, thereby restoring order and fortifying the human war machine.

Made possible by the System in Guilliman, along with a revolutionary fusion of Dark Bio-Engine technology. Unlike the previous, perilous process of upgrading to Primaris, where the risks of failure or catastrophic mutations were high, the new methodology ensures a much safer and more controlled outcome.

In the original story, the transition from old-style Space Marines to their Primaris counterparts often led to tragic consequences. Casualties were common, with recruits either succumbing to mutations or, worse, vanishing entirely. But now, under the careful guidance of the System, such issues have become relics of the past unknown. This new system within Guilliman possesses nanometric repair abilities, tightly controlling the upgrade process to prevent the horrific, inhuman changes once feared.

The technology has drastically simplified the procedure. What once took Space Marines six months to complete now only requires half that time. The process of turning a mortal into a Primaris Space Marine, which was once a months-long ordeal, now takes a mere six weeks—a fourfold acceleration.

Most importantly, the stability of the process has greatly improved. Guilliman's oversight and the influence of the system have ensured that the risks of corruption, once a looming threat, are kept at bay. However, before large-scale deployments, recruits must undergo rigorous mental scrutiny to prevent the slightest hint of heretical thoughts from taking root.

In response to the threat of Chaos corruption, Cawl, the mechanical sage, has developed a method to enhance the resistance of the Primaris Space Marines to the insidious influence of the Chaos Gods. This new armor, still in development, is designed to suppress emotional responses, making the warriors more efficient, detached, and ruthless—an ideal tool for Guilliman's growing armies.

Guilliman's ambitions do not end with the creation of these enhanced warriors. In secret, he has authorized Cawl to form a research team with the goal of utilizing pure human genes to craft the next generation of Primaris Space Marines. This new direction, away from the gene-locked legacy of the Primarchs, represents a significant departure from the old ways. The Emperor's creation of the Primarchs and the genetically stable Space Marines has always been a delicate balancing act, ensuring the mutation of these warriors remained manageable. The horrors of the Blood Angels' blood thirst and the mutations of the Thousand Sons are testaments to the risks of uncontrolled genetic enhancement.

But now, with Guilliman and the integration of Dark Bio-Engineering, genetic modification can be controlled at the very cellular level. The introduction of Guilliman's system as a genetic anchor allows for precise editing of the human genome, stabilizing it and ensuring that no unintended mutations will arise. This new breed of warriors, born from the purest human genes, will have no such instability.

While only Guilliman and Cawl are privy to these developments, the consequences of revealing them prematurely could be disastrous. The individual identities of each chapter, with their unique legacies and cultures, would be jeopardized, and any attempt to create a "pure human" Space Marine would surely ignite outrage across the Imperium. The transformation of entire chapters would need to be a gradual process, replacing the old guard with these new warriors, all while carefully reducing the influence of the Primarchs over time.

"Everything must be done with caution," Guilliman mused, his mind clouded with the weight of his decisions. A swift and radical change could send the entire Empire into chaos.

Ultramar had seen a new dawn. The worlds were stabilizing, and Guilliman's reforms were taking root. The state religion, the court of justice, politics, economy, and culture—all were being transformed under his vision. The new army, indoctrinated with Guilliman's ideology, stood ready to fight for humanity's future. Warbands and armies from Macragge had been restructured, each soldier enhanced and primed for battle under the guidance of Cawl's mechanical ingenuity.

The mighty expedition fleet waited patiently in the Konor galaxy, ready to embark on its next mission. Meanwhile, Guilliman, ever the tactician, dedicated his time to ensuring the reforms in Ultramar were solidified and the groundwork for future plans laid. He established a team of scholars, granting them the highest authority to document the entire history of the Imperium. These efforts, though important, could not distract him from the ever-looming threat of war.

As Guilliman met with representatives of various factions—Titans, Mechanicus, Sisters of Silence, Sisters of Battle, and more—he urged them to join his cause, to support his vision, and to not oppose the reforms. The forces that rallied behind him continued to grow, bolstering his power and influence.

After a year of preparation, Guilliman turned his attention to war once more. The Charadon system was next on his list, a stronghold of the orcs and the space undead that had to be destroyed to secure the galaxy's future.

The new technology had allowed each battle group to independently upgrade its forces to Primaris Space Marines. With the new heart organ, the success rate of these upgrades had reached near perfection. In just two weeks, entire regiments could be upgraded, ready for combat at a fraction of the time it once took.

Guilliman knew that the clock was ticking. He convened a military council aboard the Macragge's Glory, gathering the Chapter Masters, Warlords, and Senior Commanders to discuss the next phase of their campaign. The Triumph Hall, where the Great Expedition had once welcomed legions, now stood as a symbol of Guilliman's vision.

As the generals of the Starfield Army and Imperial Navy filled the hall, their voices a low murmur, the Adepta Sororitas stood in silent prayer, their solemn faces reflecting the weight of their mission. The Mechanicus priests, with their augmented forms and mechanical limbs, focused intently on their discussions, analyzing Cawl's latest developments.

Among them, the Sisters of Silence, devoid of emotion or expression, exuded an unsettling aura. The Adeptus Titanicus and Imperial Knights discussed tactics, sharing intelligence from across the Imperium. In this vast hall, every faction had a representative, each contributing their expertise to the growing war effort.

It was not until Guilliman himself entered that the hall fell into a respectful silence. His presence commanded attention, and all eyes were on him as he prepared to speak. The future of the Imperium, and indeed the fate of the galaxy, rested on his shoulders.

The war was far from over. But with the power of the Primaris Space Marines, the Empire was more ready than ever to face the darkness.
