Chapter 569: Changes
"Anyways, it seems like there is quite a large number of empty titled great emperor spots now… It's enough that I wonder if I should start trying to increase the number of Universe Worlds that have achieved this level…" I said, changing the subject to one more easily manageable.
"That will be a thing that is ultimately left up to you. I doubt anyone else could cause such a chain reaction of development." Smiles mentioned, now looking over the more mature image of the Star Boundary.
"I think I'm going to leave the other worlds as is for the time being. I highly doubt that the Human Race could fulfill the quota Star Boundary has now. It's such a crazy number I'm shocked that this hasn't been done before I came along…" I replied with a vain curiosity.
"Perhaps the Universe Worlds were just unable to withstand the intensity of the change. Remember you're the one who bore the pressure and all of the dangers for Star Boundary." Smiles suggested, ultimately wrapping Star Boundary's Spirit in her arms.
"Ah, what are you doing? That feels weird." Star Boundary protested, yet unable to resist the calm embrace.
"Oh don't worry about it." Smiles giggled, and then whispered in Star Boundary's ear.
"Mother Smiles… You know I can feel absolutely everything that happens in Star Boundary, right… I can tell you the exact number of creatures currently in process of procreating, or the number of people with any particular amount of wealth or cultivation. A small whisper like that, directly to her, would never escape my notice." I said, my voice full of mixed emotions and exasperations. "I actively make an effort to ignore all the excess information…" I added after a short pause.
"Pfft, I know that, silly. That's why I said it that way." Smiles teased.
"Alright…" I sighed… "Inhabitants of the Star Boundary. The event has concluded, you may return to whatever it was you were doing. And hold your heads high with pride, for you now live in the first high rank Universe World. Live well." I announced throughout the Star Boundary.
After this event, the Star Boundary became a far more lively place. I continued my siblings' training once a week, every week. Doing this affords them the opportunity to grow powerful more quickly. Soon Yang Kai and the other half of my mothers had returned from seclusion, all of them were pregnant. A sight that made my grandmother Dong Su Zhu extremely excited, as now she was going to have double the number of grandchildren.
"Grandmother, you're always happy when this happens. My medicine was used to help aid them, it's 100% effective when I make it." I chuckled seeing the overly excited face.
"Of course I'd get excited, I want to be buried in grandbabies!" Dong Su Zhu snapped at me. Then, she looked at Yang Kai. "So keep them coming. You understand, don't you son?" She asked, adding to the atmosphere.
My mothers did their own cute giggles, my wives were also staring at me with impeccable persistence. Not a soul couldn't figure out what they were thinking at the moment.
My grandfather Yang Ying Feng simply enjoyed playing with his grandchildren… Specifically the young ones, I was "too big" for him to attempt such a thing.
"Mother, I'll keep going as long as my wives wish to continue. So, please, don't do anything weird like set me up with anyone else just to have more grandchildren…" Yang Kai answered with an anxious yet nervous laugh.
"Hmph, I'd never do that. I'm just telling you that I want more." Dong Su Zhu said, no longer able to keep the grumpy face she was wearing. She now had many of her grandchildren crawling all over her. "I just love this. So much joy." She smiled nuzzling two of her granddaughters.
"I see… Son," Yang Kai said with a bead of sweat dripping down his cheek. "Could you explain what you did before? I felt quite a substantial movement in the Star Boundary a while ago. And… Well, that is not something that can be naturally explained…" He continued, curious.
"Void, that's because I grew up. All thanks to Tempy's help. His pure world force generation was delicious…" Star Boundary's World Spirit answered for me. Though she did so while licking her lips.
"I was practicing a technique and it ended up generating enough world force to push anyone to at least the 8th rank… So, yeah… That happened." I added more explanation and fast.
Yang Kai came over and punched me on the top of my head. "Don't do that to any other Universe Worlds. You could bear the weight of such a rapid change on yourself here. However, that was because you're a great emperor. You won't have the same luck elsewhere." He explained, and then placed a hand on my shoulder. "So how many more great emperor's can be raised here in Star Boundary? I've only got a vague sense of it myself." He asked, his tone serious yet unconcerned.
"Oh, about that… I should tell all of you that, shouldn't I." I chuckled, nervous about answering until the grip on my shoulder tightened. "Fifty thousand give or take a hundred or so." I answered.
The look of shock on Yang Kai's face was priceless. A couple others fainted upon hearing that. They know just how strong a Great Emperor is and now they have an easy comparison to an 8th rank open heaven.
"Honestly, I think Star Boundary could handle far more than that. But I don't want to be too optimistic here. After all, I of all people have to remain level headed… My battle is coming and I can't afford to be out of sorts in any way." I said, balling up a fist, then relaxing.
"With so many slots now… Good. Even so, I'd like for all who fill each slot to be qualified to take it. You understand my meaning, correct?" Yang Kai said, asking Star Boundary's spirit with narrowed eyes.
"Loud and clear, you don't have to worry about that, Voidy! I'll make sure no unworthy person manages to achieve it. Oh, should I also make a direct connection to someone born in my world as a requirement too?" Star Boundary asked, still getting used to the new form and its faculties. She received a nod from Yang Kai. "Done! I'll start seeing if there are any worthy ones around." She said, all but skipping off happily.
