"Are you refusing our request?"

The Antimatter Civilization sent a stern message asking, "Is the Wandering Alliance planning to protect those survivors as well as the Bose Civilization and the Fermi Civilization? I advise you to think thrice before you act. We are conversing with you because we see potential in you; do not forget your own strength."

Faced with the aggressive Antimatter Civilization, every member of the Wandering Alliance couldn't help but feel angry.

Constant Star Lu Chen indifferently asked, "Judging by your numbers, you must be just one troop from the Antimatter Civilization, right?"

He asked for such intelligence because in his heart, Constant Star Lu Chen had already prepared for the worst. Although the opponents were clearly just a troop and not the full force of the Antimatter Civilization, the technological disparity meant the Wandering Alliance could hardly be confident, even with a greater number of Battle Stars.

After all, they had just gone through a similar situation with the Revenge Alliance.

Though they had fewer Battle Stars than the Revenge Alliance, the Wandering Alliance had won that war with ease, thanks to their technological superiority.

Moreover, and more importantly, they and the Revenge Alliance were both Level 4 Civilizations, only the Wandering Alliance was at the pinnacle while the Revenge Alliance was in the middle stage – such a disparity existed there, and now they faced a Level 4 Civilization against a Level 5 Civilization. Even if the Wandering Alliance's technology was at the peak of Level 4, the gap between them was at least 0.3-0.5 levels and could not be ignored.

"The information is inconsequential to you. We are the Anti-molecule Star Troop from the Antimatter Civilization, a special combat force composed of three hundred Anti-molecule Battle Stars. However, you don't honestly believe that just because the full combat strength of the Antimatter Civilization hasn't arrived, the Wandering Alliance has a chance at victory, do you?" The Anti-molecule Star Troop from the Antimatter Civilization sent a confident and arrogant message.

Constant Star Lu Chen said, "In my view, there has never been an intention to go to war with you. I merely suggest that you change your demands, after all, what is past is past with the Anti-Neutron Star. There is no need to cling to it."

"You are overstepping; you are merely a Level 4 Civilization and have no right to instruct us on how to act. We don't need a meager Level 4 Civilization telling us what to do, whether it's in terms of experience or science, we are far more advanced."

The Anti-molecule Star Troop coldly said, "Enough talk, are you going to surrender the Bose Civilization and the Fermi Civilization, as well as those survivors? Don't say we didn't warn you. We managed to reach an agreement on the exchange of civilization regulations and antimatter information with great difficulty, don't fall short on your first request."

Constant Star Lu Chen said, "I don't want to, because we have already extended the greatest goodwill. Now it's your turn. The reason it's called negotiation is because both sides need to make concessions, a negotiation where only one side gives in is meaningless. Even if we take ten thousand steps back, if you truly insist on the Bose Civilization and the Fermi Civilization, then I am sorry, they are now members of the Wandering Alliance, and we will never abandon a comrade. This is our bottom line! If you must go to war, then we will not be afraid; we have come through the baptism of war."

This response strategy was chosen by Constant Star Lu Chen after careful consideration.

The main consideration was the Anti-molecule Star Troop's choice to negotiate instead of forcefully taking action; if their real intention wasn't interest in their potential and peacefully securing their own during the Cosmic Crisis, the only other possibility is that the Anti-molecule Star Troop didn't have full confidence in defeating the Wandering Alliance and had some trepidation, hence opting for the safest mode of negotiation. Of course, both factors might play a part, but since there's such a possibility, Constant Star Lu Chen decided to take a stance and force the opposition to step back with a show of force.

Naturally, this strategy was very much a gamble. It could make the opponent step back but could also exacerbate the conflict, leading to war. Although a more stable solution would typically be chosen, under the current circumstances, Constant Star Lu Chen had no choice but to take this risk.

And while the results of this risky strategy are not yet known externally, internally, it has boundless benefits.

The people from the Bose Civilization and Fermi Civilization Mother Stars, upon seeing the Wandering Alliance going to such lengths to protect them, sighed with relief, affirming their decision to surrender and join was correct. Even those who had doubts finally considered themselves a part of the Wandering Alliance.

Because initially, it's understandable for people to be concerned about their status after joining the Wandering Alliance. Hearing that the Antimatter Civilization named them specifically, they could imagine the Wandering Alliance handing them over as the most straightforward course of action; they could even partly understand the Wandering Alliance's desire for peace following a recent war. However, the outcome was the complete opposite of what they expected; the peace-craving Wandering Alliance squarely confronted the Level 5 Antimatter Civilization for their sake, moving every Bose Star person and Fermi Star person deeply!

After receiving the message from Constant Star Lu Chen, the Anti-molecule Star Troop angrily said, "We've already stated our core mission interests are to apprehend the culprits and obtain the civilization regulation data, and we will not give in. You may not betray your comrades, but our Antimatter Civilization's laws and culture will not overlook any criminal who dares to violate our laws!"

"Now that you've made your choice, there's nothing more to say. Negotiations have completely broken down. Since you have decided to protect those felons, to us, you are in league with them, and all equally deserving of punishment!!"

This message was the equivalent of an official declaration of war from the Anti-molecule Star Troop.

At the same time, it also announced that Constant Star Lu Chen's strategy had utterly failed—at least the external part of the strategy—as the Anti-molecule Star Troop was not intimidated into compromise, instead, they directly chose war.

"Boom!"

In the very moment that the Anti-molecule Star Troop declared war, the command Battle Star of the troop decided to take the initiative, catching the Wandering Alliance off guard. They did not relax their caution because of the Wandering Alliance's Level 4 status; instead, they attacked with full force.

The number one command Battle Star of the Anti-molecule Star Troop took the lead, firing an Antimatter Beam at the nearest communication Battle Star. The communication Battle Star activated its Four Base Space Shield immediately upon detecting the strike, but to everyone's surprise, this Protection Space Shield, constructed upon the stable structure of the Four Basic Forces, was shattered instantly by the antimatter beam, and the communication Battle Star was almost simultaneously struck, resulting in a terrible explosion. The communication Battle Star and all lives aboard were sacrificed!
