Wandering in Omniverse

Ch – 71

Jason smiled, "It is one of the strongest treasures in the world, if not the strongest!"

"What kind of treasure is it that deserves such praise from you?" Yu Yan was surprised, asking in curiosity. During their travels, they had come across dozens of treasures till now but not a single one of them was able to receive such praises from Jason.

"In this world, there's nothing more powerful than spacetime. Time can erode everything, while space can tear everything apart." Jason made a few seals. As seals are formed, a ripple slowly spreads out.

When the ripple spread out completely, everyone found themselves in a mysterious space. This was an enormous room, with countless bookshelves the size of buildings.

"Where are we?" Yu Yan was amazed. They were just on an island a second ago, so how did they appear here in the next second?

"This is the Infinite Spacetime." Jason smiled. As he walked forth, he explained, "There are millions of books here, and you can find the strongest secret techniques around."

"Infinite Spacetime? Millions of secret techniques?" Yu Yan was shocked.

"That's right. There are many secret techniques here, and many of them were long lost outside," Jason smiled at her. "And the best part is, even if we cultivate here for decades, only an hour or two will have passed in the outside world."

Looking at Yu Yan, he continued. "Let's use this. Sister Yu Yan can cultivate the technique here and try to reach the Heavenly Fate Realm."

"Then doesn't that mean with this Temporal Demon Spirit Book, you're practically invincible?" Yu Yan was amused, asking in surprise.

Jason chuckled, shaking his head. "Sister Yu Yan, there is no such thing as being invincible. There is a saying: There is always a sky above the skies, there is always someone better than you in the world. I don't want to be invincible. I just want to be strong enough to live with freedom."

"Freedom?"

"Yes, I want to be free. Free of fate, free of life and death, free of the cycle of samsara." Jason chuckled to himself before shaking his head. "Enough about it, use this chance to regain your strength."

Yu Yan nodded her head while still pondering over his deep words, wanting to see it with her own eyes.

...

"How many years had it been?"

Jason stretched his body, looking at the slim figure hovering in the air covered in flames like a blazing sun.

'Her talent and potential is really terrifying, successfully reaching 4-fate so easily.'

Chuckling to himself, Jason turned his attention away from her to his status panel.

Jason had spent dozens of decades inside the Temporal Demon Spirit Book, honing his skills and finally tapping into his real potential.

He was always good with swords and daggers in his past life, but practicing with a blade while cultivating the Void-Annihilating Sword & Heaven-Obliterating Sword arts, he was able to form an understanding of its own, creating his own unique style in less than two decades.

Even though it was crude right now, after more practicing and polishing, it had a very high potential to become a God-tier sword art.

Aside from that, he was also able to master the law of Primal Chaos, one of the most unique and difficult laws in the world which not only increased his strength by multiple folds but even brought changes to his body and bloodline.

While doing that, he was finally able to glimpse into the Yin Yang law, a very mysterious law, both soft and hard at the same time. In terms of strength, it was clearly at the level of Primal Chaos...

Taking out the red sword that weighed over ten grand, Jason swung it around with full force, only using his physical strength like chopping his enemies.

It was one of his habits, practicing with a sword, swinging it around while waiting for Yu Yan to finish...

*Wong!*

While Jason was busy practicing his sword art, a powerful ripple spread in the space brought an extreme amount of heat, and increased the temperature multiple folds in the frozen space.

'She is able to cultivate the Extreme Yang Physique to perfection in less than two decades without any powerful supplements. Interesting!'

Yu Yan opened her eyes slowly as the fire burning around her slipped into her body. Feeling the strength inside her body, she descended on the ground.

"How many years had passed this time?"

"Around 6-7 years,"

"How is your progress going?"

Jason wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her into his arms. "Is this what you ask your man after such a long time?"

Yu Yan blushed, averting her gaze. "No. It's not mhmm... like that."

Feeling him squeezing her waist, she was feeling both embarrassed and angry at the same time.

Yu Yan was a fire spiritual god and a member of the human tribe. She had spent over ten thousand years only on cultivation with nothing able to shake her mind. But only after spending a few years with Jason in the sealed space of the Temporal Demon Spirit Book, did both her mind and body shaken because of Jason.

Even Jason was a little surprised by the chain of events but since he could get one more beautiful woman then why should he waste his time on useless thoughts?

So, flirting a little and keeping her company, cuddling with each other for such a long time, he was able to easily break her barriers and make a place in her heart...

"Umm, for how long are we going to stay here?" Yu Yan thought for a moment and said, trying to change the flow.

Jason smiled teasingly. "Why do you ask? Not happy with us spending time with each other?"

"No. But don't you want to return to our home?"
