Wandering in Omniverse

Ch – 46

"I know your concern. But according to me, this method is far safer than the first one. The first method is great but you have forgotten that it will result in many casualties. The members of the Sacred Family are no vegetarians and will not go down so easily. There is also the chance of having some artifacts and treasures. And don't forget they have the backing of Dark Guild. With such a big battle, it will definitely affect the strength of the Glory City, providing the perfect chance for the Dark Guild to easily penetrate the Glory City in the future."

Tapping his fingers on the table, he continued calmly. "While assassinating is very easy. I alone will be enough to finish them for good. Nobody will realize what happened and we can easily make the Dark Guild our scapegoat, further infuriating the masses against them."

Ye Zong, Ye Shou, and Gu Yan went slack jaws looking at Jason in shock and horror. They couldn't help but feel a chill run down their spines, listening to his simple yet deadly idea.

'He is ruthless! He is not only planning to kill them all but even thinking of making their backer the scapegoat of his crime... He is not only sharp but cunning too.'

"You can take your time to make a decision. I'm fine with whatever you will decide in the end."

After sharing his view, he sent the three fellows back, leaving Yang Xin alone in the house with him.

"You're still here. Want to continue where we left off?" Jason teased.

"Ah? N-No..." Yang Xin jumped to her feet and escaped like a mouse running from a cat.

'She is so cute!' Jason smiled, watching her running away.

"Did everyone leave?"

When everyone was gone, Huyan Lanruo walked out from inside, wearing just her shorts, walking slowly on her toes, swaying her booty.

Jason nodded his head and grabbed her waist, pulling her towards him.

Slap!

Jason playfully spanked her butt and said. "You've wasted the past few days on nothing. So get serious now. If you don't reach the Black-Gold rank in a week then no more fun for you."

"No! Don't do that, Sir~" Huyan Lanruo spoke anxiously. Since she had tasted the forbidden fruit, she had been horny for more. But if he forbade it then what would she do?

"Hehe... make a breakthrough and I'll make you beg for more the entire day." Whispering into her ear, he teased her ear.

Huyan Lanruo bit her lower lip sensually, her eyes turning sharp. 'For an entire day? I think I will not be able to walk for a week then. But I am not going to give up this chance...'

"You promise?"

"I'm a man of my word."

"Then I'll do it." She said with determination.

Jason smiled and nodded in satisfaction, serving her a bowl of noodles to eat.

Leaving her alone to practice, he went to the backyard. In front of a large empty space, Jason made some hand signs. The space distorted in front of him and revealed a small shed in front of his eyes.

Making sure that no one was around, he stepped inside.

The shed was not much bigger with a space of 200 square feet and it was filled with hundreds of pots. Taking off the cork and the cloth covering one of them, he sniffed.

'Good! In a few days, this wine will be ready. Curse this world, such a large amount of resources, and yet the wine they consumed is so pathetic and weak in taste...'

Looking at the pots like treasures, he sealed that pot again before walking out.

The shed disappeared again, invisible to the naked eye.

After that Jason made his way to the small forgery behind the mansion.

Taking out tens of swords with a wave of his hand, he threw them into the flames burning into the forgery to melt.

'This will make five hundred swords. Now, let's continue forging my sword.'

Throwing his shirt into the interspatial ring, he started controlling the flames via the inscriptions laid out in an array around the refining area.

The temperature of the room instantly soared by ten degrees in an instant, making it impossible to bear for any normal person but for Jason, it was nothing much as he continued the process.

Finally, when the sword was melted into a liquid form, he poured it over a crate in which a dark red sword was lying down.

"Let's begin!" Jason grinned and picked up a dark golden hammer from the side, weighing over a hundred catty, made up of dark iron and enhanced with inscriptions. He then started hammering the sword while using his soul force and law energy continuously.

Jason had bought all types of swords from the Glory City and even collected the broken or defective swords lying in dust into the treasury to forge a weapon.

He had produced a dozen sharp and thin short blades that were perfect for assassination purposes but he didn't have a good sword that could endure his strength and his full brunt of law energies.

Since he had cultivated the Dragon Sovereign Body, he could conjure flames far stronger than normal fire that could melt even the Black gold rank swords to their liquid form. If there ever came a day when he would come across a strong opponent, he couldn't rely on the short blades to fight him.

Bam! Bam! Bam!

With every swing of the hammer, the red sword glowed with brilliance. Carefully using his devouring ability, he threw more and more swords into the fiery pit.

While waiting for the swords to melt, he used his soul energy to the maximum output and laid down inscriptions.

The sun made half a circle in the sky, finally setting down at the horizon with a reddish glow, indicating the flow of the entire day.

"Nie Li! Nie Li! Are you here?"

Just as he finished, he heard the voice of Huyan Lanruo.

With a wave of his hand, he took out the flames and walked out, holding his shirt in his hands.

"So, here you are," Huyan Lanruo watched him coming out and smiled.

Jason smiled and walked over before hitting her on her head with a flick. "You sure forget your manners in a few years."

Huyan Lanruo covered her forehead and pouted, grumbling. "That's not fair, Sir~. How am I supposed to look for you without calling your name?"

"And why are you looking for me?"

"Well, I had made dinner for you."

"You made dinner for me?" Jason was taken aback, not taking her for a girl who knew how to cook.

Well, it wasn't his mistake.

Anyone who had associated with her once would not take her for someone who could cook decent meals.

Huyan Lanruo raised her hand and hit him in the chest with a fist. "That's rude,"

"Hehe... then let's go and taste your food. If it tastes bad. then you'll be getting punished with no fun for a year." Jason smiled and walked towards the mansion.

"Hey! That's not fair," Huyan Lanruo chased after him, giggling.
