[VRMMO] Chaos Doctor

"…."

(Things are not looking good.) – thought the elven queen while looking from the safe location as the main army of the earth dragon clan was besieging the elven capital walls.

An all out battle was taking place on and outside the elven walls.

Outside, countless tree monsters as well as golems were fighting the dragon army, while the elves on the walls were shooting down anybody who was trying to climb the wall.

(We are managing to hold back the dragon army completely in tracks over here…. But that flare…. I don't like this…. How did the enemy broke through our defenses?)

(Even if our main army wasn't there, there was no way for them to easily break through.)

"Mirror please." – said the elven queen to her spirit, before moments later, two mirrors were connected, one connected to the queen, while another connected to the elven knight who was running through the city.

"!"

"My queen!" – said the running elven knight.

"How is the situation?" – asked the elven queen.

"We are currently heading towards the breached gate, but apparently, the situation there isn't going well. By the looks of things, the enemy had managed to break through the defensive line and ran into the city, they are currently being chased by the elven forces." – said the elven knight.

"Then support them. Make sure to deal with the enemy as soon as possible and confirm that the breached gates are repaired! We can't let more enemies to break through, got it?" – said the queen.

"Yes your majesty!" – said the elven knight before moments later the elven queen ended the call and evidently started another one.

"Report." – said the elven queen as her water mirror appeared right next to the elven captain.

"Y—your majesty?!" – said the nervous elf.

"Report. Situation. Now." – said the elven queen.

"Y-yes! W-we are currently repairing the gate! As for the enemies….. We let them pass us….. But! Besides that, there were no other attempts!" – said the nervous elf.

"That doesn't mean that you should let your guard down." – said the elven queen with cold voice.

"Repair the gate and keep a watchful eye. There is no telling what else could occur…. This is an order." – said the queen before ending the call.

"…"

(Is it a distraction?) – thought the elven queen.

(3 invaders….. They broke through the gate and made their way into the city….. But are they strong?)

(No. They are definitely strong….. But are they strong enough to cause mass damage?)

(….)

(Or by any chance, they only broke through in order to create the panic?)

(The dragon clan was and is still using a tactic that focuses on spreading fear and distrust, just like when they allowed that plague to spread around.)

(So by any chance, the 3 invaders are here to "make themselves look dangerous"?)

(No…. Something is still off about this.)

(That giant ass lizard of there is all about brute and frontal approaches…. The one who is a schemer is the Doctor person.)

(So by any chance…. Hm…. Are they aiming at me?)

(It is better if we don't look down on these invaders and get rid of them as much as possible.)

"Move it people! Move it! We are about to reach the area where the enemy had apparently been spotted!" – said the elven knight as he and other elven soldiers ran through the city.

"As soon as you spot them, send out the single!"

One of the elven soldiers suddenly slowed down as he saw somebody hiding behind a house.

"Hey! You there! What are you doing here?!" – shouted the elven soldier as he drew out his sword and rushed towards the person, only to then realize that the person in question had elven ears.

(Civilian? What is it doing here?) – thought the elven soldier before starting to slow down.

"!?"

However, as soon as the man slowed down, the elf that was hiding had turned their head around, revealing a ravaged and bloody face, before moments later the elf began running toward the soldier while screaming like an animal.

"!?"

(Undead?!) – thought the elven soldier that got ready to fight, only for the blade of water to fly past him and cut in half the zombie elf.

"!"

"Captain!" - said the elven soldier as the elven knight walked past him and looked down on the corpse of the zombie.

"…"

"Shit…." – said the elven knight with a worried expression.

"Where is the nearest safe house?"

"…"

"Your majesty. One of the knights that you had sent is requesting an audience." – said the water spirit that was standing right next to the queen.

"…"

"Granted." – said the elven queen, before moments later a water mirror was manifested.

"Your majesty! There is an emergency!" – said the elven knight.

"The undeads! The undeads had made their way into the city!"

"!"

"…"

"Are those regular undeads raised with necromancy? Or with that diseases?" – asked elven queen.

"Disease! Some of the zombies we had fought were covered in bite marks!" – said the elven knight.

"I'm sorry your majesty, but I don't think we will be able to give chase after the invaders! We are currently dealing with any infected civilians in order to make sure that the infection won't spread…. However, … We checked one of the safe houses…. It was completely infested."

"Your majesty! We need a backup!"

"…"

"Done. I've already ordered more soldiers that were on the standby to support you." – said the elven queen.

"Your squad will focus on exterminating the infected ones, also check other safe house just in case."

(So that was those bastards' goal!)

(They wanted to attack safe houses where noncombatant civilians are hiding!)

(They wanted to use safe houses to spread the infection through the whole city!)

(Dirty bastards!)

"…"

(But something isn't adding up.)

(No! Something is definitely not right!)

(Whenever the dragons attacked, they allowed the undeads to attack first, even letting them to get wiped out before they launched their attacks…..Does that mean that the dragons cannot really control the undeads?)

(But if that is the case…. No…. No. They are sure for the reason about undeads not infecting them…. They probably have some sort of cure….)

(Or the undeads are also a distraction.)

(Eggs? Is that their end goal?)

(Nah, nah, nah, nah.)

(Ain't it either…. They are doing something…. But what exactly?)

(Is their goal truly to have a zombie outbreak among the civilians and try to destroy the city from within?)

"Welp, I'm not playing this game." – said the elven queen before then getting up and walking away.

The war raged on.

The main army of the earth dragon clan, alongside their allies as well as borrowed Doctor monsters, were fighting nonstop the elven forces, trying to break through, but with no results yet, as the elven forces were able to keep the dragon forces perfectly at bay.

However, inside the city, and game of cat and mouse was happening, with Doctor, Thanatos and Maparapara just running around, causing chaos, while also having Hunter go around and using any remaining plague she had on herself to cause zombie outbreaks all through the city.

"There! That was the last one!" – said the elven knight.

(Shit, they are spreading too fast! How are they doing it?!)

(Still, the reinforcements should be arriving at any moment.)

Suddenly, something fell down from the sky, crushing on top the elves to death upon impact, before moments later the unknown being rushed at the elven knight, forcing him to raise his sword in order to block the giant claws that collided with his sword.

"!?"

And moment later, the elven knight was sent flying through the streets.

"Oh, that isn't very nice, you know?" – said the Doctor.

"You shouldn't be destroying people hard work like that!"

"!"

"SHIT! IT'S ONE OF THE INTRUDERS!" – shouted the elven soldier.

"GET HIM!"

The elven soldiers rushed at the Doctor from all directions, but he in response just used [Lion Conquest], swinging around his claws and slashing all the elves at once.

"PATHETIC! YOU TREE FUCKERS!" – shouted Doctor before then being forced to use [Body Block] in order to stop the elven knight sword.

"Oh? You are up early!"

"SHUT IT!" – shouted the elven knight before then using his spirit and sword to slash Doctor across his chest.

"…"

"You done?" – asked Doctor who was completely unbothered by the attack.

"!?"

(What?!) – the elven knight tried to retreat by jumping away, but Doctor extended his arm and managed to grab the elf by his leg, before then swinging the elf over his head and then smashing him against the ground.

Doctor instantly went and tried to finish off the elven knight, but before he could he was blasted with a barrage of water and wind spirit spells that resulted in the Doctor getting pushed back.

"…"

(Reinforcements.) – thought Phantasia as he saw more elven soldiers rushing in.

"[Poison Mist]!" – Doctor fired off his skill, creating a giant mist of poison that also acted like a smoke screen, before then he started running away.

"!"

"HE IS GETTING AWAY!" – shouted the injured elven knight.

The elven mages used their wind spirits to push away the poisonous mist, before then noticing Doctor trying to run and hide in one of the alleyways.

The elves gave chase instantly, entering the alleyway.

*BEEP*

"?"

"?!"

However, it was a trap.

Multiple explosives that had been set up were triggered by the elves, causing a chain of explosions that completely obliterated all of the elves that had gone inside the alleyway.

"Holy shit! You were right! Setting up traps like these is fun like hell!" – said Maparapara as she just walked through the smoke created by explosions alongside the Doctor.

"If you like, I could make you some special bombs later on." – said Doctor.

"But for now, let's deal with these fuckers first."
