The earth dragon clan had managed to finally crack open the defenses of the elves, resulting in the elves suffering the first real lose.

And not only that, but their information network took an massive hit after losing both an outpost and chunk of their territory.

And if we add the fact that the people are scary and wary of both the "mysteries assassin" as well as the plague alongside the story of "the food supplies had been infected", the information network is pretty much in shambles, since they have too many things to do, with ended up giving the earth dragon clan an chance to push further in and start slowly gaining more and more ground.

But here is the thing.

"We lied."

The plague isn't ravaging the entire kingdom.

There isn't many assassins.

And not all of the food supplies in the kingdom had been infected.

Lets talk in the details what was the Thanatos doing.

I've gave her three missions.

1 – Make it noticeable that the food had been infected.

2 – Spread around the word about the plague.

3 – Make it visible that there is somebody assassinating the elven soldiers.

Thanatos went around, infecting some of the food, but not all, but enough to make people believe that the food had been infected.

Not only that, but she pretended to be an civilian and spread around the word about the plague as well as how outsides as well as the food could be infected.

And lastly but not least, make it visible to both soldiers AND civilians that there is somebody hunting down the people who try to investigate the plague.

So…. Why only Thanatos was doing heavy lifting?

Simple put she was spreading an poison.

But not kind of poison from the plague, but instead poison to their ears.

The people panic, fear, mistrust and hesitation.

Those are the feelings that we aimed to fan up.

And those emotions had already started poisoning the elven information network, resulting in it getting worse and worse with each passing moment.

As for us? This was an golden opportunity.

The information network that caused the elves walls to never be collapses had started slowly dying, resulting in the earth dragon clan pushing forward.

But obviously there is an problem with this strategy.

And that is the time.

The elves can cure the plague and they may soon realize that the "KINGDOM IN THE ENTIRE DANGER" isn't really the current situation and instead only the much smaller scale.

And once they realize that here is only 1 person out there spreading the plague, the chaos will somewhat calm down.

Well, I say that, but it would take time to calm down the masses.

But, they have also us at the front pushing forward, causing the elven forces focus on the split apart and not notice the trick.

Not only that, but more of the earth dragon clan members had arrived thanks to the water dragon clan transport support.

And there is also the fact that I was able to stock up a lot of "materials", resulting in me replacing any lost chimeras with new ones.

I've also secured a lot of the "spirit cores" that drop from slaying the spirits and those things are quiet valuable.

Like they are EXTREMLY valuable.

So, yea… We started slowly tipping the scales in our favor... Bad thing? There is one.

We need to be extremely aggressive.

If we give the elves room to breathe, they will start recovering and they will discover the little "trick" that had them deceived.

The days went by and the earth dragon clan had conquered good part of the elven kingdom.

However, as the dragons tried going closer and closer to the heart of the elven nation, the great forest of Poro'poum that was also where the capital city of the elven nation is located.

The defenses in and outside that forest are though, even with their information network in shambles, the already existing defenses there had proven themselves problematic.

Not only that, but by the look of things the enemy researched me.

They know me and they know that the one behind the plague is me.

I've had some assassin coming after me as well, but I dealt with them….. But now there is problem.

THEY ARE WATCHING ME.

They are wary of me, since I'm the bastard behind the whole undead plague.

Slime girls as well as the 5 doll persons that had accompanied me have some freedom and they were able to level up somewhat…. As for the Thanatos?

She said that doing her work had became extremely hard now. By the looks of things the elves may had started understanding their situation or maybe they had already discovered her actions…. Still, even if they did one of these things, calming down the masses will take time as well as rebuild the damage trust between the civilians.

Not only that, but Thanatos will also continue sabotaging the kingdom, making sure that this distrust between the civilians will somewhat preserve a bit.

And there is also one more thing.

We still don't know why these bastards have the dragon eggs.

I mean, the eggs that they had stolen belonged to some powerful earth dragons, with even some of these eggs being laid by the dragon king of earth mate.

But they never did anything like an "hostage" or anything similar situation to scare off the earth dragons.

By any chance they don't have the earth dragon eggs?

But if they didn't…..Or maybe they used them?

Ah…. This is annoying and the elves are making sure that their soldiers don't know anything.

Honestly, it doesn't make any sense.

We looked though the informations about the elves, spirits as well as the giant parasite known as the world tree. But the dragon eggs doesn't make any sense at all.

It would make sense IF they hunted down adult dragons and stuff, but still unborn babies? It doesn't make any sense at all.

And since it doesn't make any sense for us from our side…. It would suggest that these bastards are planning something big…. Nice.

But here is annoying problem.

These guys were prepared and knew that they would go to the war from get go, unlike the church of the holy fire.

So maybe, unlike these idiots who tried to play sneaky sneaky, not letting their conspiracy to be seen, these guys plan may had already been fulfilled or maybe they are close to completion.

Obviously I talked with this regarding the dragon general as well as other figures of the power within the army, about the dragon eggs being no longer here or be even "BE" anymore.

The elves are usually over prideful idiots from what I know, but these guys here? They can use their heads and they must had known that there was no way for them to hold off the earth dragon clan forever.

Obviously that theory didn't made anybody happy…. If anything, they were pissed off. Especially the earth dragon general who said that I maybe telling the truth.

Some obviously said that it didn't made any sense at all, since the elves didn't made any big movement after "completing their plan", but the problem is that we don't know what their plan was in the first place.

So, we need to prepare for anything once we managed to get to their capital city.

[Meanwhile: Elven capital city – Ancient hall]

"Any leads regarding the plague origins?" – asked elven queen.

"Yes your majesty." – said the general Paweł.

"We had finally confirmed that the enemy isn't exactly attacking in multiple locations at the same time, but instead they are spreading infections in different areas one by one."

"There maybe just ONE person spreading the plague around…. But there are infected people as well as infected food moving around nonstop."

"We did managed to somewhat to deal with the infected people as well as infected food, but the new infections are keep popping up."

"…So… Is it possible to completely eradicate the plague?" – asked the queen.

"Yes… It is possible to completely eradicate plague and cure any victims…. But that would take time and there is currently chaos going on between the civilians…. By the looks of things, the enemy aimed at the "chaos" of all the things."

"We also didn't found the "saboteur" at all, but by the looks of things managed to thwart some of their attempts, since there was less appearances of the sudden infections."

"Good. Continue your work….. And general Mapa, how are the situation going at the frontlines?" – asked the queen.

"…. Not good." – replied the female elven general.

"The dragon forces had been pushing a lot and they had already started the assault on the Poro'poum forest."

"We did managed to stop them down finally, but we had already some noticeable casualties on our side. We don't know how long we can hold them off."

"The situation with the plague had also hit and worn out some of our soldiers morality and mentality. That is the main problem."

"Not only that, but the dwarven weapons we had received from the wind dragon tribe are slowly running out. Once we used up last of them, then the dragons will definitely start pushing forward."

"So, we are running out of the time…. Eh?" – said the queen.

"But they are finished, aren't they?"

"Yes my queen." – said the elven researcher.

"The dragons were already born and they had already starting to develop."

"But they are far too young yet to be deployed in battle."

"We can-"

"Do it." – said the queen.

"I don't care how much you reduce their lifespan or anything, I only care about 2 things."

"That they can fight."

"And that they can reproduce."

"Anything else is unnecessary."
