"We did an little investigation on him…. And it turned out that he is extremely dangerous individual." – said the priest as he handed the report papers to the paladin that then handed it over to the pope.

"Yes…. Not only that, but according to the adventures, the "Doctor" is possible one of the strongest adventures out there." – said the worried priest.

(Not only that, the organization that attacked are using vampires?) – though the pope while picking the second report that was laying on the table.

(Vampires maybe not demons, but they are creatures of the night and usually anything holy related is something harmful to them… So, I doubt that the vampires were the ones that enslaved the angels…. Meaning that they are maybe not beings running that shady organization.)

Yea…. It was good idea for the Thanatos to hide her identity… She wasn't expecting for the "Hunter" to get that popular instantly to the point she got somewhat flustered.

"Yea… I don't think I will be taking off that mask for any near future…." – said Thanatos.

"Understandable." – said Doctor.

"Still, its not just players you should watch out from."

"The organization gave me a tip. The church is wary of me and will probably try to do something about it…. And they are also wary of you."

"Anyway, did we received any new orders?"

"Yeb. Defend the Garag city." – replied Doctor.

"Eh? Defend? Not attack?" – asked confused Thanatos.

"Shouldn't we…. Well, push forward? Weren't we ordered to come here to take over this place and then push forward?"

"Well, that would be an ideal course of actions…. However, the problem is this city location." – said Doctor.

"The reason why the church wanted to keep hold of this location was because its an perfect line of the defense against the kingdom, but this isn't the only reason. If the kingdom were to take control over this place, they would have an perfect base for the assault against the church."

"This city is an one of main key locations in this war and the side that would be controlling this place would have an advantage against their enemies."

"And so, we are for the moment staying here."

"The kingdom had already send their soldiers here, but it will take time for them to get here and also to reinforce this city as well as repair it."

"However, obviously the church will send their own forces here in order to reclaim this place and we cannot allow them to do it."

"…..So, an siege battle or something would take place?" – asked Thanatos.

"Probably." – said Doctor.

"Anyway, get ready, since its unknown when the battle will take place."

The church would definitely try to reclaim this place as soon as possible, since having the kingdom be in passion of this place would put the church in bad position.

And just as we expected, the church has send an large army straight towards the city.

Some of the kingdom troops managed to arrive to our location, but not all of them in time as the church army had finally arrived.

"Wow…. You weren't kidding… They are really desperate if they send that many soldiers here." – said Thanatos while using the binoculars to look at the large army approaching the city.

"I also see… Angel? Huh… This is first time I see angels."

"Hey…. What is that giant thing over there?!" – said Thanatos while pointing at the bird like creature made out of holy fire covered in golden armor.

"Its Akima messenger. It's an holy angelic creature made by the goodness Akima in an form of an giant pigeon." – said Doctor as he walked towards Thanatos.

"According to the intel, they are war beasts…. However, according to the kingdom, the church should had not had any of them at the moment, meaning that they must had only recently summoned them."

"…. So…. Is this like an goodness pet? How strong is it?" – asked Thanatos.

"Well, that is the problem that we don't know really." – said Doctor.

"We have some informations, but it's unknown if it is accurate or not. However, from what we know is that the goodness have several of the pigeons under her command, so maybe that pigeon isn't exactly extremely overpowered if she has multiple."

"But an holy beast and the huge army together? Are they that much desperate to take back this place?" – asked Thanatos.

"Well, as you can see, they are. But that also proves of how scared they are." – said Doctor.

"Anyway, you know the plan, right?"

"Yeb. Leave it to me." – said Thanatos before walking away from the wall.

"Good. Then don't fail me." – said Doctor.

Few moments later, the forces of the church had arrived near the city and as soon as they did, the battle instantly started.

"CHARGE!"

The forces of the church began instantly rushing towards the walls while the siege weapons began firing the boulders at the city walls.

"Incoming! Counter fire!" – shouted Doctor to the vampires in coats.

The vampires aimed with their strange cannons and fired them, causing not an cannon balls to get fired, but instated rockets that flew straight at the incoming boulders and blew them up before they could reach anywhere near the city walls.

"?!"

"The hell?!" – said the confused knight.

"Hey! What the hell happened?!" – shouted the knight at the man with the telescope.

"Well, it seems that something flew from the top of the walls and collided with the boulders before exploding." – said the man with the telescope.

"The hell?" – said the confused knight.

"Well, what ever they did, they must have some limited ammunition, continue the bombardment! Now!"

"You heard him! Prepare the next boulders!" – shouted the soldier that rushed towards the trebuchet operators.

The siege operators began using the giant lizard like beast to quickly load the next boulder onto the siege weapons, quickly reloading all of the siege weapons.

"Get ready! Set….?"

(What was that?) – though the soldier as he looked up upon hearing weird noise, only to see the bombs falling down from the skies, hitting and completely devastating the siege weapons as well as all the soldiers near them.
