Kent stared at the man with a blue mask. He couldn't feel anything from him. Not even a hint of power but he could easily tell he was strong.

"You know you are going to die right" the man suddenly said breaking the silence.

"What makes you think that, Kent replied, you have never fought me before have you?"

Kent stared at the man with the mask not showing a hint of fear.

Suddenly they both moved their weapons at the same time making them collide together.

Kent quickly moved back to gain some distance before rushing towards the man again. He didn't want to give the man anytime to attack.

Kent quickly reached the man and swinged his arm ready to hit the man but the man dodged quickly, immediately appearing at the back of Kent.

Kent noticing him immediately dodged making the man's weapon hit the air.

Kent quickly retreated a few steps.

"He is strong, very strong" Kent concluded in his mind.

He matched Kent in a physical battle making Kent wary.

"This kid is very strong, on the other hand the man with the mask thouht in his head,

He was able to fight with me in a physical battle equally. He has a lot of talent especially. If only he didn't choose to go against me, I could have trained him.

The man showed his pity for Kent but he knew he needed to take care of Kent. That was their policy.

KILL WHO EVER WAS IN THEIR WAY.

They had abided by this policy since when they formed their group. They couldn't break it just because of a kid.

"I need to kill this kid fast"

Immediately the man with the blue mask shouted out at the top of his lungs

"Death be to man"

Kent was shocked by the action of the man but he didn't do a thing.

Immediately the man shouted a large dark shadow suddenly started emerging from the ground.

It had dark red eyes with a completely shadowy body. It had a menacing glare attached to it and it'd teeth was the definition of horrible.

It looked like insanity if it was a person.

"What is that, Kent thought with a shocked expression resting on his face.

"I am sorry kid, but this is where you will die"

Immediately the man said this he commanded the shadowy figure to attack Kent.

Immediately it rushed towards kent slashing and attacking him. Kent quickly moved and managed to dodge some of the attacks.

It continued attacking Kent continuously some hitting him and some missing.

" Fuck, what is that?"

"It's incredibly strong." Kent was in a tight spot as he had started bleeding, I can't just keep dodging his attacks, I have to attack too. Maybe I should try my new technique.

The technique Kent got from killing the wolf was swift slash. He knew of it but he hadn't tried using it. He wasn't even sure how to use it.

"That damn voice didn't even give me any instructions or manual on how to use or activate it. It seems everything I have to learn by myself in this place

Kent immediately started to channel some of his substance into his right arm.

He didn't know how to do it but he still tried hoping for something to happen.

Suddenly the tattoo on his right arm began to shine a light blue.

It was the exact same colour of the wolf. Immediately he felt about 10 percent of his substance in his core reduce but for it his entire legs were brimming with power.

Kent entire legs felt stronger and more powerful.

"So this is the skill swift slash,huh" Kent thought a slight grin manifesting on his face

"What,that boy is capable of using substance, the man with the mask thought his expression hidden under the mask shocked, how did i not notice this?,and not only that he already has a technique. It seems I might have underestimated this kid."

The man continued looking at kent for a while trying to see what he will do, but Kent didn't do anything but rather watched the man expecting him to do something.

"It seems he is not going to attack, the man deduced, very well I will take the first shot.

The man then ordered the shado figure standing close to him to attack Kent.

The shadow figure launched towards kent ready to kill him.

Kent seeing this quickly dodged to his side evading the attack at an extraordinary speed instantly moving 20 steps away from the attack in an instant.

"W-what was that?"

Kent was surprised at the speed at which he reached there but not only him but even the man in the mask was shocked.

"Is that that boys technique, the man in the mask thought his expression getting darker.
