Villain's Valor: A Noble Fantasy Resurrection

Chapter 243 War angel

Flames as white as milk bathed the forest, shining and calmly consuming the trees. They didn't produce heat; it was as if they didn't exist. From the sky fell fine spears of pure ice, bathing the ground with them like a rain. The flames moved with the wind, and the spikes that fell upon them disappeared.

Daniela, in her elegant ice dress, wore a crown on her head. Two wings of blue fire appeared behind her back, and her body began to fly at maximum speed, soaring above the trees. The blue flames behind her came to life as she consumed the trees around, leaving the space open. The blue and white flames danced silently, moving with the wind. Daniela's eyes were fixed on the person in front of her.

She moved her hands as the air around condensed and cooled rapidly, and from them, a fine layer of smoke emerged. Her hands turned blue, and two orbs of blue mana shot forward, breaking the speed of sound.

Angela's body gleamed with white light, her hair and eyes turning pure white. Behind her back were two pairs of wings as white as herself, their feathers having slight golden hues. Her wings resembled those of an angel; above her head was a halo, giving her a more mystical touch. Angela glanced from the corner of her eye at the two blue orbs and lifted her body.

Her two wings beat upward, her flight direction abruptly changing towards the sky. The two orbs followed closely as Daniela chased her.

Angela's eyes shone, her body gleaming intensely like the sun, and her wings changed and grew larger. The white flames bathed her as thin layers of energy fell to the ground. She tightened her staff firmly, from which the sunlight shone intensely. The white flames clashed against the two blue orbs, creating a shockwave powerful enough to clear the surrounding clouds.

From the explosion, specks of blue light fell to the ground to disappear, Daniela's wings expanded to a length of six meters, her crown shone intensely, and snowflakes fell from the sky. Angela frowned.

Daniela's hands turned blue, and from them emerged two spears. She grabbed them tightly and shot forward, her blue flames expanding behind her, attempting to create a huge dome. Angela's eyes shone; in the same way, her staff gleamed, stones came out of it, and starlight appeared in the sky.

Various types of lights faced Daniela's blue flames as bright crystals descended from the sky like a waterfall of white flames, heading directly downward in large quantity. Daniela's eyes widened in horror at seeing this, and she quickly moved her hands as the wings behind her expanded to cover her.

In a matter of seconds, she was bathed in intense light, and Daniela gritted her teeth as blood flowed from her mouth. Her eyes shone intensely, and her body expelled a wave of mana, momentarily freezing the white flames.

Seizing the opportunity, Daniela descended rapidly with the momentum of her wings, while Angela, momentarily stunned to see her flames frozen, soon let a smile appear on her lips. Her wings beat strongly, and she followed closely, descending like a white meteorite, radiating an angelic light as she approached Daniela.

Angela's white eyes fixed her gaze on the blue flame speeding away, and her mana flowed through her veins as she propelled herself with determination after her.

The two flew for a few minutes, and Daniela opened her eyes with surprise as she saw the trees in front of her shaking frantically, some turned to stone. Her mana surged from her body as she watched the fierce battle of Adelaida and Leopold. Noticing the white light behind her, Daniela hesitated for a moment, but then mentally nodded with resignation.

She decided to head directly to the battlefield where her classmates were. Angela's mana was too terrifying to face. Her eyes settled on Leopold, who seemed literally like a tree. Daniela's hands turned blue, and spikes emerged from her fingers, while Leopold's senses were activated, feeling a new type of mana in the air.

Adelaida's green eyes met Daniela's, dilating upon seeing the approaching white light ball rapidly towards the three of them. She cursed internally and looked resentfully at Daniela, silently asking her how she could bring that monster with her. Daniela responded with a forced smile, apologizing with her gaze.

Adelaida's expression turned somber. Angela Benedetto was normally calm and warm, even animals approached her, her golden eyes always held a deep love and understanding. If this was Angela's normal personality, upon activating her bloodline, that attitude changed. She became unhinged and cruel, a battle maniac, very cruel to her opponents.

It was as if she were a totally different person; she had a split personality, one was friendly and warm, and the other was cruel and sinister. Leopold, like Angela, approached at maximum speed, and his expression turned extremely grim. He looked at Daniela critically, and she could only look away.

Angela knew how to use mana perfectly, but in the same way, she also had mastery with the sword; her bloodline was known as "Angel of War."

The three watched as Angela's figure appeared in front of them, her beautiful hair and white eyes looking indifferent to the three boys, a beautiful white sword covered in flames resting in her hand, as she was about to attack, her gaze shifted elsewhere.

A soft laughter resonated to the left, emanating from a boy with black hair and gray eyes who looked eagerly at Angela. He held an enormous spear in his hand, with a charming smile on his face. "Beautiful," he thought internally, filled with excitement to face someone so strong.

He gripped his spear tightly, but before he could act, he saw a huge ball of stone falling from the sky, generating a deafening roar.

From the enormous crater emerged Edward, his red eyes shining with the same excitement. He held his huge hammer over his shoulders, looking at his companions with a smile. A slight rustle of the branches drew everyone's attention to Nicholas, lazily sitting with a bored expression.

The tension in the air was palpable; even Ezequiel felt the danger of everyone in that place. The tension was so dense it seemed like it could be cut with a knife, before a playful voice echoed behind them all: "Don't start the party without me." Darkness quickly enveloped what was left of the island.
