Villain: My Thoughts Are Being Overheard by the Heroines!

Chapter 4:

Chapter 4: This Plotline Is Definitely About to Collapse…

But reality… was just reality.

Lin Zhixin, after giving Ye Chen a brief glance when he entered, didn’t look at him again.

She ignored him.

That was the term they used on Blue Star.

Yes—she was totally ignored.

Pfft—

Ye Chen’s heart skipped a beat.

What the hell! Speechless!

At this moment, Lin Zhixin’s clear, crystal-like eyes were fixed on Gu Jinnian.

There was fear in them, but even more curiosity.

But Gu Jinnian didn’t notice any of this.

Because—he was in character!

The original plotline was rushing wildly through his mind as he stared coldly at Ye Chen.

Taptaptap—

At the same time—

A group of large men in black suits entered the hotel.

No need to guess—they were obviously Gu Jinnian’s underlings.

With the little brothers on the scene, the plotline should start moving:

“Kid, you brought this on yourself. When we beat you half to death, don’t come crying to me!”

A textbook villain line.

But here comes the problem—what defines a textbook villain?

First and foremost: they die from talking too much.

That’s exactly what Gu Jinnian was doing.

Rattling off lines nonstop—wasn’t he just testing Ye Chen’s patience?

Even though Gu Jinnian now had ten years of cultivation and could probably kill Ye Chen with one punch, he still had to act out the scene.

Once the plotline was complete, he could return to Blue Star with five million years of lifespan!

Then go find some deserted island… and spend every day surrounded by school-flower-level beauties…

Wasn’t that way better than staying in this idiotic world?

Thinking of that made Gu Jinnian chuckle in his heart.

The next second, he got back into character and waved his hand.

“Get him! Beat this arrogant brat within an inch of his life!”

“Yes!”

And so, the group charged at Ye Chen.

But everyone already knew how that would end.

Sure enough, in the blink of an eye, the ten men in black were all lying on the ground.

Each one beaten black and blue—utterly miserable.

Gu Jinnian, of course, expected this.

Though he felt nothing inside, on the surface, he put on a panicked expression.

“You… what are you?! A man or a ghost?!”

Pfft—

Right after saying that line, Gu Jinnian almost laughed out loud.

That line was just too ridiculous.

Ye Chen, hearing this, walked toward him with a mocking look.

“This is what happens when you mess with Ye Chen.”

Then he raised his fist and swung it at Gu Jinnian.

The air from the punch rushed in.

It was strong.

Fast too.

But Gu Jinnian froze in place.

What the hell???

This wasn’t how the plotline was supposed to go!

Did the rest of your lines get eaten by a dog?!

Clearly, Gu Jinnian didn’t expect Ye Chen to skip his dialogue and attack straightaway.

So…

The awkward moment came.

Because of that, Gu Jinnian didn’t have time to react.

Ye Chen’s sandbag-sized fist landed squarely on Gu Jinnian’s abdomen.

Time seemed to freeze.

Gu Jinnian stared blankly at the weak little fist resting on his stomach.

According to the original plotline—

Once Ye Chen punched him, he was supposed to go flying.

But now…

Damn it!

This was awkward as hell…

Isn’t this a total screw-up?

You bastard with the crooked mouth, why aren’t you following the script?!

You didn’t even finish your lines before swinging?!

Damn it, Gu Jinnian looked at the equally stunned Ye Chen and twitched.

[Unbelievable! This dumbass didn’t even finish his lines! Where the hell is “I’ll send you on your way!”?]

[!!! Isn’t this a total set error?!]

[Sigh! Whatever, I’ll just go with it and play along.]

Right now, even Lin Zhixin was frozen.

She seemed to realize something.

She was curious to see how Gu Jinnian would smooth this over.

But then…

She witnessed the most awkward scene imaginable.

Over there—

After a few seconds of dazing—

Suddenly!

Gu Jinnian threw himself backward and flew across the room.

Yes!

He literally launched himself without being touched by anything.

Bang!

He even picked a corner himself, slammed into the wall, and stared at Ye Chen in fake terror:

“Despicable! You were hiding your ancient primal force?!”

Then—

He turned his head and passed out.

Huh???

Ridiculous!

Ye Chen was completely dumbfounded.

He weakly raised his own fist and looked at it.

Ancient primal force?

What the hell is that?!

Totally lost.

He clenched his fist again, and the cracking pain in his bones made his brow twitch.

Then he looked again at the unconscious Gu Jinnian.

He mumbled, “Did I… accidentally master a new technique without realizing it?”

At this moment—

The hotel room was absurdly silent.

Even Lin Zhixin, sitting on the floor, wasn’t an idiot—she could see it clearly.

Gu Jinnian was totally faking it!

But the question was, why?

Was he trying to match the plotline?

Lin Zhixin shook her head. She didn’t get it at all.

Taptaptap—

Just then—

While she was deep in thought, several footsteps rushed into the room.

If she guessed right—

These women were probably from the Lin family.

“Miss! Are you alright?”

“Hurry, close the door! Don’t let that villain who hurt our young miss escape!”

Saying that, several of the women closed the door behind them.

Lin Zhixin saw this and tried to stop them: “Don’t close the door! I don’t know the password!”

This hotel was soundproofed, and to do bad things, Gu Jinnian had already cut the internet and all signal sources in the room.

If you didn’t know the password, you couldn’t get out.

And now—it was too late.

The door was already closed.

“It’s alright, Miss. There are many of us. Let’s try to break it down.”

The woman in front waved her hand.

Then she and the others started ramming the door.

Unsurprisingly, it didn’t work.

This door had been custom-made by Gu Jinnian at great expense—no way it was breaking that easily.

“Miss… it won’t budge…”

Lin Zhixin was just about to comfort them—

When suddenly, that familiar voice echoed again:

[Dammit! Why the hell did they close the door?! I opened it on purpose, just in case you idiots couldn’t figure it out. And now look what happened…]

[We’re doomed. If these fools can’t get out, the plotline is definitely going to collapse…]

[Sigh! The password is 685712. No way anyone would guess something that complex, right?]

[So dumb!!!]

Hearing that—

Lin Zhixin’s eyes lit up!

She silently memorized the numbers.

Then looked at Gu Jinnian again.

She wanted to see how he could possibly keep the plotline going after all this.

“Hmph! You dared to toy with me—let’s see what you do now!”

Lin Zhixin thought with a snort.

And right then—

Gu Jinnian, lying in the corner, suddenly peeked one eye open.

As if scouting for intel.

Pfft—

Seeing that, Lin Zhixin nearly burst out laughing!
