__________

Twenty gangsters armed with automatic rifles emerged from four Cadillacs.

"Go to hell, cop!" They roared, raising their guns and firing wildly at the police cars and officers.

Bullets rained down like a storm, damaging the engines and tires of the police cars, making it nearly impossible for the officers to even raise their heads.

The gangsters who stayed behind had already planned to die. They didn't intend to kill all the policemen but only wanted to trap them so they couldn't pursue Kingpin.

Stan saw Kingpin's escape through a telescope and immediately took out his satellite phone to inform Jason.

"Jason, the information you gave me is accurate. Kingpin and the Mexican drug lord really showed up. Most of the drug lord's men were killed by me, but Kingpin has broken through the encirclement and escaped along the Hudson River."

Jason wasn't surprised by the news and replied calmly, "I expected as much. Your DEA wouldn't be able to catch Kingpin. Don't worry, I'm on my way. If I'm lucky, I should be able to catch him."

Police officers throughout New York had set up checkpoints to stop Jason. How had he gotten to Manhattan from Long Island Prison so quickly?

Stan was curious, "You were driving so fast! Didn't you encounter any police on the way?"

"Haha, there are police on almost every street. To be honest, I've never seen so many police officers in my life."

Stan was even more confused, "You didn't use all your strength to break through the checkpoints, did you?"

Jason laughed, "You've been watching too many Hollywood movies. We were driving a Long Island prison police car, speeding with the sirens on. The police at the checkpoints thought something was wrong, so they didn't even dare to ask and just let us pass."

Stan nodded in understanding, "I see. I won't chase after Kingpin then. There are more than a dozen boxes of illegal materials waiting for me to confiscate."

Confiscate?

Stan was probably going to pocket 30% of the supplies.

Jason pointed it out directly, "Just stay busy. I won't stop you from making money."

Stan hung up the phone and directed the helicopter toward the battlefield.

The police officers who had come to reinforce the area were being badly bullied by the gangsters. They lay on the ground or hid under the cars, fearing being shot.

"A bunch of rubbish."

Stan cursed angrily, then opened the door of the helicopter and fired at the gangsters with the onboard heavy machine gun.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The heavy machine gun sprayed a circle, causing heavy casualties among the gang members and greatly reducing their firepower.

With the support of the helicopter, the officers on the ground climbed up and fought back with pistols.

A few minutes later, all the gangsters responsible for blocking the attack were killed. Even those who were wounded but not dead pulled out their pistols and shot themselves, leaving no one alive.

The battlefield was chaotic, with bullet shells, blood, and body parts scattered across the ground. The stench of blood was so strong that some officers couldn't help but vomit.

Stan's confidant said, "These people were ready to die. They're not just simple minions. They must have been loyal warriors who followed Kingpin for many years."

Another sighed, "We've confiscated the gang's supplies, and so many loyal men have died. I think Kingpin is doomed this time."

"That's good too. Kingpin has ruled New York's underground for so long. It's time for a new face."

"Do you think the boss's boss has a chance?"

"Well..."

They both looked up at Stan.

If Jason became the new king of New York, they could make more money.

Stan looked in the direction where Kingpin had fled, muttering, "I don't know. Jason isn't Kingpin. The enemy he's about to face is the entire United States."

After finishing his phone call with Stan, Jason led his men to race on the highway. More than ten minutes later, he saw Kingpin's Cadillac convoy approaching.

"Franklin, stop them!" Jason ordered.

"Got it!"

Franklin swerved into the opposite lane, speeding toward Kingpin's convoy.

Several police cars behind also accelerated and drove side by side, blocking the four-lane, two-way highway.

When the lead Cadillac spotted the police cars, it immediately slowed down.

The four cars behind it accelerated, apparently preparing to use the old tactic and crash through the police blockade.

Franklin frowned. "Boss, their car is speeding up. If we hit it head-on, we might become vegetables."

Jason replied, "Don't worry. You won't become a vegetable. John, it's up to you."

John Wick, sitting in the back seat, nodded. "Franklin, slow down!"

He opened the car window and leaned out halfway.

At high speed, the strong wind made it nearly impossible to keep his eyes open.

As Franklin slowed down, the wind began to subside.

When the car speed dropped to 60 kilometers per hour, John raised his pistol and fired at the oncoming convoy while enduring the intense wind resistance.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Three bullets hit the tire of a Cadillac.

With a loud bang, the tire burst instantly.

Squeak!

The car skidded uncontrollably, crashing into the car on its right and plowing through the guardrail, sliding into a low-lying wasteland.

"Beautiful!" Franklin shouted, impressed by John's marksmanship.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

John repeated the same strategy, firing a few more shots, blowing out the tires of the remaining two cars.

This time, the gangster drivers, prepared for the worst, started slowing down in advance.

After a series of thrilling maneuvers, they avoided losing control of the vehicles, but at the cost of losing speed. They could no longer break through the police defense.

Squeak!

The drivers stepped on the brakes, preparing to charge through the defense line after stopping.

Although the police had eight cars and they only had five, in terms of combat effectiveness, these policemen were no match for them.

Honestly, their plan would've worked if they had been facing ordinary police officers. Unfortunately for them, they were up against a group of dangerous criminals.

The two groups slowed down, and so did Jason.

Unless you have a body of steel, who would dare to crash at over 100 kilometers per hour?

Squeak!

The two groups came to a halt, just 20 meters apart. Eight police cars surrounded the three Cadillacs.

The next moment, everyone opened their doors and got out of the cars.

They used their vehicles as cover, exchanging gunfire. The gangsters who had previously been in the wasteland ran toward the police, guns drawn.

"I won last time. Want to compete again?" John asked Jason, crouched behind the car.

"Forget it. Comparing my shooting skills with yours is just asking for trouble. But I will surpass you soon."

"I believe it." John smiled, unsure whether he was serious or not.

Under the dark night sky, the rain poured heavily.

The two gangs engaged in their final showdown in the rain.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Bullets flew in all directions, hitting the cars and sparking off the metal, creating a spectacular display.

Thud!

One gangster was shot in the face, falling to the ground, twitching as he died without even making a sound.

Another gangster quickly replaced him, but within seconds, he was shot in the throat and collapsed, his eyes wide open in shock.

In just a few minutes, the gap in strength between the two sides became apparent.

One of Jason's men was killed and another injured, while more than half of Kingpin's men were already dead.

"Retreat! Retreat quickly!"

The gangsters fought as they retreated, slowly pulling back to Kingpin's car.

"Boss, this is fucking hell. These policemen are extraordinary. We can't beat them!"

Kingpin rolled down the window and stared grimly at the police car nearby.

Today was definitely not a good day.

Taking advantage of the lack of police presence in New York, he had gone to trade drugs with the Mexican drug lord, but the DEA had discovered him.

Not only had his partner been arrested, but all his belongings had been seized by the DEA.

After escaping New York Harbor with his men, they ran into a massive police presence. To save his life, he had reluctantly abandoned the men who had followed him for years.

Now, after trying to regroup and waiting for the right moment to make a comeback, he had been blocked by a group of officers with exceptional shooting skills.

Kingpin felt like crying, but no tears came. Since becoming the underground king of New York, he had never felt this defeated.

God, even when you're going to be bullied, you shouldn't be beaten this badly!

It seemed like there was no escape from this situation.

As he continued to reflect on his misfortune, the remaining men were killed one by one.

Kingpin was truly alone.

More than thirty prisoners, armed and dangerous, moved toward Kingpin's car.

The car door opened, and Kingpin stepped out with a calm expression.

"Hey! Long time no see."
