Villain: I Must NTR All The Hidden Bosses!

Chapter 4: Where Is My Kaelan?!

James lay sprawled on the oversized bed in his room, staring up at the wooden beams above him.

The mattress was ridiculously soft, so much so that he almost felt like he was sinking into a cloud.

Despite the luxury surrounding him, his body still felt weak, and every movement came with a reminder of how drained he was.

His limbs were heavy, his chest still ached slightly, and even sitting up felt like an Olympic challenge.

After the meal earlier, Master Yevan, the healer, and the servants had all left, leaving him completely alone.

He appreciated that—they probably assumed he needed rest, and they weren't wrong. But being left with his thoughts wasn't necessarily a good thing either.

The quiet of the room gave him too much time to reflect on everything.

He shifted slightly, his muscles protesting the movement. The food and healing earlier had helped, no doubt.

His body was slowly recovering, gaining some strength back, but it wasn't an instant fix. Still, compared to the frail mess he'd been when he woke up, this was progress.

'Small victories,' he thought, staring at the intricate carvings on the ceiling.

But the physical recovery wasn't what weighed on him the most.

No, it was everything else—the whole another world, new identity, insane system situation. He let out a heavy sigh.

'Alright, let's break this down. First things first—what do I need to do?' He mentally ticked off the priorities.

The number one priority was clear: he had to fit into this world. That was easier said than done. The biggest problem?

He didn't have any memories of the person whose body he now inhabited. Nothing. Not a single scrap of information.

No childhood memories, no names of friends or enemies, not even a favourite food. He was starting from scratch, and that was terrifying.

How was he supposed to act like he belonged when he didn't even know the basics? He'd already met Master Yevan, who thankfully seemed too preoccupied to notice anything strange.

But what about everyone else? What if he called someone by the wrong name or acted weirdly in front of someone important?

'And yet… I already know the language,' he realised, frowning.

That part made no sense. Somehow, he could speak fluently and understand everyone perfectly, but that was the only thing he'd been granted.

Everything else was a blank slate. He didn't know how this world worked, what the social rules were, or even where he was geographically.

It felt like someone had installed only a half-complete update into his brain.

James groaned, covering his face with his hands. 'This is a disaster waiting to happen.'

But amidst the panic, there was also a spark of excitement. He couldn't deny it—being in a completely new world was thrilling.

Back on Earth, his life had been painfully dull. Wake up, go to work, come home, repeat. Now?

He had a fresh start in a world with its own rules, mysteries, and opportunities. It was a chance to live the kind of life he'd only ever dreamed about while reading webnovels.

Well, except for the system. That was still a problem.

He turned his head, staring at the corner of the room. The system. It had already given him a death mission—a ridiculous one at that.

NTR the hidden bosses? He still couldn't fully wrap his head around it. What kind of system even was this?

Sure, having a cheat ability was every transmigrator's dream, but this one seemed specifically designed to make his life harder.

And then there was the issue of… experience. James sighed again, sinking deeper into the mattress.

He wasn't exactly a ladies' man back on Earth. In fact, he was the opposite. A virgin with zero romantic experience wasn't exactly the ideal candidate for this kind of mission.

Still, the system itself intrigued him. If it truly granted him powerful abilities, it might be worth the hassle.

And he was also eager to learn about this world's power system. From what little he'd seen, it seemed unique and complex—not the generic magic or martial arts setups he'd read about before.

That was something to look forward to as well.

Hours passed as James lay there, alternating between panic and excitement. The golden light of the sun gradually faded, replaced by the cool tones of evening.

Shadows stretched long and dark across the room, and the silence felt almost oppressive.

He was starting to wonder if anyone would ever check on him again when the door creaked open.

A petite maid entered, her uniform spotless and her demeanour professional. She curtsied briefly before speaking.

"Young Master Kaelan, the Lord and Lady of the house have returned. They are in the Dining Hall and have requested your presence."

James blinked, processing her words. 'The Lord and Lady? Oh… my parents.' The thought hit him like a brick. Of course, Kaelan had parents.

He'd just been so preoccupied with everything else that he hadn't thought about them until now.

"Uh, thanks. I'll head down," he replied awkwardly. The maid curtsied again and left, closing the door softly behind her.

James took a deep breath, swinging his legs over the side of the bed. Even that simple motion made him wince slightly—his body still felt fragile, and he had to move carefully.

'Alright, play it cool. Just greet them politely, don't say anything dumb, and figure out what kind of people they are.'

But before he could take more than a step toward the door, it slammed open with the force of a hurricane.

"WHERE IS MY KAELAN?!"

James froze, his heart skipping a beat.

A whirlwind of crimson fabric swept into the room, and for a moment, he thought he might have been hit by an actual storm.

The woman standing in the doorway was, without a doubt, the most stunningly gorgeous woman he had ever seen.

Thick, luscious black hair framed her face, cascading down her back like silk. Her crimson robes hugged every curve of her voluptuous figure, the fabric embroidered with gold patterns that shimmered in the fading light.

Her emerald-green eyes glistened with wild emotion as she scanned the room.

Before James could process what was happening, she spotted him. Her face lit up with a mix of relief and overwhelming affection.

"Kaelan!" she cried, her voice trembling with emotion.

She moved faster than should have been humanly possible. In a blur of red, she crossed the room, and before James could even think of dodging, she flung herself at him and pulled him into a crushing embrace.

"Wait—" was all he managed to say before her arms wrapped around him like a vice.

The next thing he knew, his face was buried in her full chest, and he couldn't breathe.

"Oh, my precious baby!" she sobbed, squeezing him tightly. "Are you alright?!"

James flailed his arms helplessly, his muffled voice barely audible. "I'm… fine… can't… breathe…"

But she didn't let go. If anything, her grip tightened.

James's vision began to blur. 'Is this woman trying to kill me?!'
