Village Head's Debauchery

Chapter 1375: Divine Laws

Orion doubted he could go around them in an instant. It would require effort from him, which was astonishing. Yet, when he looked at them from a distance, they seemed small islands floating amidst the skies.

He was confident he could inflict damage on them with his strength, but he doubted he could shatter an island with one attack.

He tried to sense the environment, but realised it was useless.

It was as though the domain continued to expand even as his omnipresence expanded.

He could sense the existence of countless Laws, many of them, and couldn't feel the restrictions that had once been placed on him within the domain of the gods and the Material Realm's cosmic tree.

The Laws felt alive.

When Orion thought about this, the air before him instantly sparked and crackled with lightning.

It began to take the form of a small ball of blue lightning.

"What's this?" Orion muttered to himself as he stared at the ball of lightning in curiosity.

With his omniscience, he could discern that the ball of lightning contained the very nature of the Law of Lightning to a considerable degree. But he couldn't fully comprehend it.

Naturally, because he had just stepped into a dimension with its own rules and systems, far stranger than the Material Realm's cosmic structure.

"Wooww!!" Grace kept exclaiming in surprise as she looked around her surroundings and at the small ball of lightning that had just emerged before them.

Even his wives and children beside him stared in curiosity.

Suddenly, the ball of lightning, which had been docile, began bouncing around them. A streak of lightning emerged from it and shot toward him.

Orion's eyes widened in shock as he realised that the bolt of lightning was the ball of lightning's stream of consciousness.

It was alive. And it didn't just bear a significant nature of the Law of Lightning, it was the nature of the Law of Lightning.

And most of all, it was greeting him.

"Daddy, are you okay?" Grace asked, looking at her father.

She had always seen him zapping others with his lightning, but had never seen anyone do the same to him.

So she was surprised when the ball of lightning, which she had considered cute, struck him; she couldn't help but worry about his well-being.

"Don't worry about it. It was just saying hello," Orion responded.

Grace's eyes sparkled immediately.

"What else did it say?" she asked, her curiosity piqued.

"It said that although I seem strange, it sensed a certain undeniable familiarity with me, so it wants to introduce me to the others it had made into family and friends a while back," Orion responded.

"WOOWWW!! It has family and friends also!" Grace exclaimed. She pressed both her hands against her cheeks as though to support the weight of her astonishment.

"I want to see them! Let's meet its friends and family!"

A streak of bluish lightning emerged from Orion and struck the ball of lightning. Suddenly, the ball bounced from side to side. Then, countless streaks of lightning burst from it, trailing behind.

As the lightning struck the air, similar balls of lightning emerged one by one until more than a thousand had appeared.

A streak of lightning emerged from the ball of lightning at the front and struck Orion again.

"What does it say now?!" Grace asked, her voice tinged with even more excitement as she observed the scene before her.

"It said, 'There they are,'" Orion responded, his eyes now locked on the sea of balls of lightning before him.

Unlike the Material Realm or its dimensions, where the Law of Lightning dominated the realm and could be manipulated based on the wielder's intentions to alter its nature, here, the balls of lightning were the complete nature of the Law of Lightning.

Altering one or many would have no direct effect on the world around them. But based on the user's intentions, they could still cause disastrous harm. And since they were alive, they also could refuse the wielder's commands.

And without a Law to anchor on, this meant that a true god could still utilise their abilities without restraint, just like in the endless void.

With this place being able to support such terrifying Laws existing all at once, and more durable than the Material Realm, it should be able to remain stable even after a battle between true gods.

What did this mean?

It meant that this wasn't limited only to the Law of Lightning, but extended to the other Laws of the universe.

Depending on the dimension's own limitations, a true god here could master two or more Laws to completion and transformation.

Regardless of how amazing this was, even Orion knew that the White Flame cosmic structure would eventually fall apart if there weren't such restrictions.

For the divine beings and true gods to explore the many dimensions yet to be uncovered within the White Flame Cosmic Tree, Orion understood that it would either need to be more restrictive or even more restrictive than this.

Because this granted them the opportunity to grow stronger.

This also meant that as long as they could change the nature of several Laws into a Spirit Law, it would spread more naturally. This would lead to the slow emergence of spiritual energy.

And if that wasn't enough, they could capture several Dukes and Royal Princes and eliminate them to create Spirit Wells that could nurture the environment and speed up spiritual energy recovery.

This would allow the spirit beasts to reside comfortably outside the Spirit Realm.

Though he was uncertain about the restrictions they would face here, he believed Iyriath Zi'ria's words.

This should also be the reason why each place needed an independent Mysteries to oversee it. And at the top of it all was Nazelita, handling its affairs to ensure its constant stability.

And above even that... was him, her father, the Supreme Leader.

Although Nazelita had kept him informed about this, the information had been sparse because she wanted to surprise him.

So at this moment, Orion couldn't help but feel overwhelmed as he attempted to make sense of it all.

He looked at Aerialia, Ilse, Reena, and the rest of his wives and children and saw that they were also fascinated by the bizarre balls embodying the nature of a Law that had appeared before them. These were unique, with characteristics even he couldn't fully decipher.

However, upon the emergence of over a thousand balls of lightning, creating an intense crackling energy, they shifted their attention toward them in amazement.

Orion sensed that they were also slowly coming to the same realisation as him. He refocused his attention forward. He wanted to try an experiment.

A streak of fiery, white lightning burst out of his body and struck the ball of lightning that had approached him.

It entered it, streaking around the surface.

Then, it began to draw inward slowly.

Orion hadn't forced it. He had merely observed how the ball of lightning would react when encountering a lightning of another kind, one far more potent than itself.

To his surprise, the ball of lightning was rapidly understanding the fiery streak, several times faster than a true god mastering a new Law.

Crackkleee!! Cracckklee!!

Soon, the ball of lightning began transforming into a ball of white lightning, as though caught up in a flame.

Orion's eyes widened in surprise once more.

The ball of lightning had comprehended a portion of his White Flame lightning and acquired its nature, becoming an entity similar to it.

Orion felt his heart race, realising that this was a world that could evolve along with the divines residing within it. No wonder his omnipresence still couldn't detect its entire scope.

With numerous true gods also attempting the same, it meant the dimensions would continue to expand, further spreading the White Flame Cosmic Tree into the endless void.

It was perfect.

It was truly the cosmic structure created using the heavens as inspiration. In fact, if he hadn't learned about its origins, Orion would have believed this was the heavens, the place from which the ancient gods had once descended into the Material Realm.

Iyriath Zi'ria had outdone herself.

There was no longer any need to worry about the future of this cosmic structure.

"Do you want to follow me from now on? I have more than enough of that nature of lightning to share with you," Orion said, looking at the ball of fiery lightning.

Since he couldn't force it or risk it running off or dissolving, he used a calm, gentle approach.

The ball of fiery white lightning was silent for a moment, then began bobbing up and down continuously. It flew forward and landed on Orion's shoulder.

Orion pondered whether he could leave the White Flame Cosmic Tree with it, and quickly realised that doing so would carry disastrous consequences.

There would have to be some safeguards in place to accomplish this.

"Since that's the case, how about I give you all names?" Orion said, looking at the crackling balls of lightning before him. "Nazelita hasn't named you, right?"

....
