Chapter 96: Chapter 96: The Three Elements Plan
Lu Jun was momentarily stunned.
He gasped as the weight in his arms suddenly increased, but it was still manageable.
Slap! Lu Mei, blushing furiously, pushed her younger brother away, exclaiming, "Why did you suddenly hug my waist? That tickles!"
Her soft and warm figure left his grasp, leaving Lu Jun feeling a pang of regret. He scratched his head and replied, "Nothing much. You just looked like a figure model floating like that, and I couldn't resist touching you."
Perhaps it was only in front of his sister that he would act so boldly.
Before Lu Mei could retort, Lu Jun quickly changed the topic, asking, "Sister, what do you plan to awaken for your third element in the high-tier level?"
"Third element?" As expected, Lu Mei shifted her attention, crossing her arms and pondering. "I lack offensive abilities. How about awakening the Fire Element? It's also effective against Plant Element mages and certain plant-based demons. If I go with fire, combined with our abilities, we'd basically be versatile."
"Fire Element? Sounds good," Lu Jun mused, thinking of someone—Jiang Feng, the Flame Witch of Dunhuang's Scorching Plains. She had transformed into an exceptional Flame Holy Spirit, the dream companion for any Fire Element mage.
In the future, as one advanced to the Super Tier or even Forbidden Rank, the fusion of a Flame Holy Spirit would make one nearly unbeatable.
He then asked about Lu Mei's progress with her Wind Element at the high-tier level. He had some ideas that might enhance her combat effectiveness, potentially creating unique self-developed spells.
After exchanging notes with Ding Yumian, Lu Jun realized Lu Mei's current level of mastery was sufficient to discuss these concepts.
Lu Mei frowned and said, "There's definitely a qualitative change, but I'm still far from reaching a domain. With 343 stars in a Star Atlas, seven star maps need to be constructed. It'll take me at least half a year to cast high-tier spells proficiently."
"No rush." Lu Jun's mind brimmed with ideas as he responded, "While you're mastering the stars, you can explore variation techniques. Here's a thought: compress your mid-tier spells into a Palm Cyclone. If you unleash it instantly, its power won't be much weaker than a low-standard high-tier spell."
"Hmm?" Lu Mei showed interest. "Explain further."
"This is what I'm thinking; take it step by step."
Lu Jun described concepts like Compressed Air Cannon, Miniature Tornado, and Condensed Gale Energy.
These ideas represented a miniaturization path, with increasing difficulty and power. The first idea prioritized speed and instant casting, useful for interrupting others while they constructed their Stellar Rivers. The second resembled a "Cyclone Shuriken," a Palm Cyclone created by compressing mid-tier Wind Discs for more explosive power.
Finally, the third combined Rock and Wind Element energies to increase air density. At its peak, even a single strand of compressed wind could pierce through steel.
The alternative path was to amplify the Wind Element's influence, essentially manipulating airflow and even weather phenomena.
In Lu Jun's view, many Wind Element mages thought too small.
Air currents flow everywhere in the elemental world. If one's control expanded enough to twist a major atmospheric current, the resulting impact could be apocalyptic. Rising sea levels and melting glaciers would be minor effects.
Of course, such mastery over Wind Elements required an exceptional combination of a Wind Disaster Physique, a Heaven Seed, and a Forbidden Curse Mage's capabilities. However, influencing a city or even a nation's weather to ensure favorable conditions was achievable.
This made Lu Jun lament over Wu Ku's waste of potential. With his talent, he could have chosen a noble path instead of degenerating into sewer-level tactics.
Given future issues like rising sea levels and coastal farmland erosion, the ability to summon rain or manage weather would become a strategic national treasure, requiring Forbidden Curse Mages for personal protection.
For China, the ocean demon invasion presented an opportunity. Harnessing the strong oceanic monsoons to transform the arid western regions could reshape the country. Restoring ancient fertile lands or creating a new agricultural hub in the northeast would be revolutionary.
Such feats could even surpass the accomplishments of Emperor Qin Shi Huang.
Lu Jun set his sights on this grand vision, glancing at Lu Mei, who seemed a little lost. He sighed, realizing how much effort he'd put into planning for his sister.
For now, such ambitious results were out of reach for her. However, starting with the miniaturization path to enhance her combat power was feasible.
With the Fire and Wind Elements decided, Lu Jun thought of a path for her Earth Element as well. He recalled the Na Crystals, which could form Rock Seeds, much like Mo Fan's approach, though the effects would differ.
After all, Mo Fan only used half of the Na Crystals he obtained. The rest ended up with Apas. How things would unfold in the future remained uncertain, but taking it back shouldn't be an issue.
Having mapped out plans for all three elements, Lu Jun's gaze softened with affection as he looked at his sister.
Lu Mei, puzzled by his expression, pinched his cheek. "What are you thinking about?"
"Nothing." Lu Jun grinned. "Congratulations again! Take some time to consolidate your progress and practice my suggestions. Let's celebrate together after school."
"Got it." Lu Mei waved him off casually. "Go to class already."
Feeling reassured, Lu Jun left for school. He had plans to meet Ding Yumian today to refine his spiritual domain further. He also wanted to experiment with the seven Servant-level souls stored in his White Tiger pendant, testing if their evolution could be artificially influenced to gain a useful skill.
Before long, he met Ding Yumian in the secluded woods behind the school.
As they strolled down the shaded path, the woman beside him exuded elegance, her white dress clinging to her graceful curves, outlining a flawless silhouette.
Ding Yumian blushed slightly as muffled noises echoed from the woods—a couple's intimate sounds, including soft gasps and wet kisses.
"It seems we've come to the wrong place. Shall we find another spot?"
Lu Jun scratched his head, silently agreeing. Walking here with Ding Yumian made them look like a couple themselves.
They quickly left the area and found a quiet hilltop. Sitting cross-legged under a tree, they faced each other with eyes closed.
Ding Yumian spoke softly, "Are you ready, Lu Jun? I'm coming in."
The words sounded suggestive but carried a serious intent.
"Ready." Lu Jun focused his mind, activating Psychic Wall to fortify his spiritual defenses. In his mental domain, countless transparent walls layered upon one another, glimmering like crystal, creating an impenetrable fortress.
Since reaching the second realm's peak, Lu Jun's Psychic Element abilities had grown significantly. His spells could overpower most peers in the same tier.
However, Ding Yumian was an exception.
A hum echoed as her clear gaze sharpened. Her forehead glowed faintly, and an overwhelming spiritual force surged forward, invading Lu Jun's mind.
