VERSATILE MAGE: RISE OF A LEGEND

Chapter 10: Chapter 10: Innate Triple Elements

Light stood in the dimly lit chamber, his heart pounding with excitement and anticipation. The Awakening Stone, now pulsating with a gentle silver light, was a testament to his newly awakened Space Element. The silver star cluster in his Spiritual World shimmered with energy.

The moment Light was about to thank his sisters, the Awakening Stone suddenly pulsed with an eerie, otherworldly glow. The light was intensifying, casting a bloody red hue across the room. Light's breath caught in his throat as a cold, chilling energy began to seep into his hand, snaking through his veins and spreading through his body like an icy river. The surface of the stone seemed to ripple with energy, as though veins were forming and glowing beneath it, connecting directly to his hands.

Light's eyes widened in surprise.

Wasn't the awakening over?

Why was the Awakening Stone reacting again?

A surge of uncertainty gripped him as he instinctively tried to retract his hand, but the magic power had already begun to flow from the stone into his body, too strong and too fast to resist.

"What's happening?" Light whispered to himself, bewildered by the sensation. But as the energy poured into him, a small part of his consciousness urged him to once again spread his awareness into his Spiritual World and perceive the second power's invasion.

Within his Spiritual World, the silver star cluster of the Space Element still sparkled with a bright radiance. Seeing it, Light felt a surge of pride. This was the power he had awakened only moments ago, a power that made him special, unique. But now, another force was charging into his Spiritual World, just as the Space Element had.

A deadly chill streaked across the space, like a shadow creeping into the light. The arc was dark and cold, sending a tremor through Light's entire being.

"This… this is…" Light's voice was barely a whisper as his Spiritual World reacted to the new power.

Emerging before him, nestled within the infinite void, was another star cluster—this one a Bloody Red Star Cluster, radiating a deadly, chilling aura.

For a moment, Light was at a loss, unable to comprehend the significance of what was happening. But as the realization dawned on him, a wave of excessive joy and excitement washed over him.

"A second element!"

Light thought, his heart racing. "I've awakened a second element!"

But what element was this?

The bloody red stardust within his Spiritual World radiated a bone-chilling aura, so cold that it made Light shudder. It was unlike anything he had ever encountered before.

The dark, chilling aura emanating from the star cluster was nothing like the elemental magics he was familiar with. The bloody red stardust, however, didn't align with any of the known elemental powers.

It couldn't be an elemental magic, could it?

Light quickly recalled the colors associated with each element in his mind.

Purple represented the Lightning Element.

Red represented the Fire Element.

Cyan represented the Ice Element.

Bluish-Green represented the Wind Element.

Brown represented the Earth Element.

Blue represented the Water Element.

Yellow represented the Light Element.

He went through the possibilities quickly in his mind. None of the primary elements matched the chilling darkness of this new power.

Then he considered White Magic, but quickly dismissed it.

"The chances of it being White Magic are too slim," Light reasoned, recalling what he knew about the elements.

White Magic was supposed to be calm, warm, soothing. But this aura—it was the complete opposite. It was chilling cold and dark.

Dark Green represented the Plant Element.

Pink represented the Psychic Element.

White represented the Healing Element.

Radiant Gold represented the Blessing Element.

Yet, none of these had the dark, chilly presence of this stardust.

"No",he concluded. "It isn't White Magic either".

This dark aura, this chilling sensation—it had to be something else. Could it be Dark Magic?

His mind raced as he recalled the attributes of Dark Magic.

Dark Black represented the Shadow Element.

Crimson Red represented the Curse Element.

Sickly Green represented the Poison Element.

Bloody Red represented the Undead Element.

Light's breath caught as realization struck him like a bolt of lightning.

"Bloody Red".

"Undead Element!"

Light gasped, the words slipping from his lips in disbelief.

He had also awakened the Undead Element!

Dual Elements—he had actually awakened Dual Elements!

The Awakening Stone shone brightly with a bloody red light, a deadly cold aura filling the chamber. Light's heart pounded in his chest, echoing the excitement and disbelief that coursed through his veins. His sisters stared at him, their expressions mirroring the shock that he felt deep within. They had never seen anything like this before. The scene before them defied all expectations.

One had to understand that among Primary-ranked Magicians, awakening a single element was the norm. Someone who could awaken Dual Elements was practically non-existent. The probability was a million times lower than even the rarest of elements, like Lightning!

Athena's eyes were wide as she stared at Light. "I… I can't believe it. Light's awakening a second element? This is unprecedented!"

Su Xuanhua gasped, clutching her own arm. "It's supposed to be a once-in-a-billion event! How is this even possible? Light, are you…?"

Su Hongxiu jumped up, a mix of excitement and disbelief in her voice. "This is incredible! I always knew you had something special, Light, but this—this is beyond anything we imagined!"

Light breathed heavily, looking at his sisters with a mix of relief and apprehension. "I didn't expect it either. It just happened. I could feel the energy from the second element flowing through me."

Athena's eyes were still wide as she turned to the others, her voice barely a whisper. "This could change everything."

Su Xuanhua nodded, trying to process the magnitude of the moment. "Yes, this is huge. It's not just about the power—this kind of awakening means you're connected to something far greater."

Su Hongxiu grabbed Light's shoulders, her voice trembling with awe. "This is a once-in-a-lifetime event. Light, you're making history!"

Light smiled faintly, overwhelmed by their reactions. "Let's take it one step at a time. I still need to understand what this means for me—and for all of us."

Before Light could retract his hand from the Awakening Stone, a new sensation suddenly shot through him like lightning, so fast he didn't have time to react. A strange glow lit up in his mind as the Awakening Stone became translucent, revealing a hidden power that he had yet to uncover.

Light trembled, unable to regain his senses as this mysterious energy poured into his palms. Just like the Undead Element before it, the energy melted into his blood vessels, opening up yet another new world within his Spiritual Universe.

Light was unable to speak. He mouthed the words, but no sound came out. After his second element was awakened, there was actually yet another energy that charged its way into his Spiritual Universe, not giving him even a moment to rejoice properly over the previous two elements before sending him to an even higher level of excitement!

A third element?

What did I awaken this time?

Light closed his eyes again, searching for the elusive third element in his Spiritual World. But unlike the first two, he couldn't find it immediately. He was certain he had seen the light indicating the birth of this new power, but now, locating the stardust was proving to be a challenge.

Finally, something glittering in a dark corner of his Spiritual World caught his attention. If his Spiritual World was like a dimly lit swamp, this new element was like a small whirlpool, spinning slowly and almost blending into the background, easy to miss without a careful search.

Why do I feel like it has merged into the background? What element is this? Why is it so vague and mysterious?

As he focused on the stars in the whirlpool, he noticed something peculiar—they were colorless, or rather, they were changing colors according to their surroundings. When they were surrounded by the void, they were empty too. But if he moved them closer to the other elements, they soon acquired the same color.

"It doesn't have a color of its own," Light realized, his heart pounding. "It's not elemental magic, White Magic, or Dark Magic... It must be a Dimensional Element again!"

Among Dimensional Magic:

Silver represented the Space Element.

Moonlight represented the Summoning Element.

Vibrant Cyan represented the Sound Element.

Translucent represented the Chaos Element.

"Chaos, it's the Chaos Element!" Light murmured in awe, his mind racing to grasp the implications of what he had just discovered.

His sisters, noticing that he had closed his eyes again, were confused. "Light, what's happening?" Su Hongxiu asked, her voice tinged with concern.

Light opened his eyes, his pupils reflecting the lights around him before slowly reclaiming their usual color. "Unexpectedly, I've awakened Triple Elements," he said, his voice filled with both awe and disbelief.

"I've actually awakened Triple Elements!"

The realization sent a shockwave through the room. Other people at the Basic Level would only possess one elements. It seemed like they had to cultivate to the Advanced Stage before they'd be able to awaken a third element. But Light had only just stepped into the Basic Level, yet he had directly awakened a third element.

"This is against the rules of heaven," Light thought, his emotions swirling inside him. He was so excited that he felt like he was going to burst. Controlling the emotions billowing up inside him, he finally directed his attention toward his sisters.

"What?!" His sisters gasped in unison, their expressions frozen in shock.

"Yes," Light continued, a small, victorious smile forming on his lips as he gave them a playful victory sign. "It's the Chaos Element."

Athena was the first to speak again, her voice trembling with excitement. "Light, you've just made history! A triple-elemental awakening—this is unheard of!"

Su Xuanhua's eyes were wide, her voice filled with awe. "We knew you had potential, but this… this is beyond anything we imagined!"

Su Hongxiu was practically glowing with excitement. "You're going to change the world, Light! This kind of power… it's incredible!"

Light, still trying to process everything, smiled faintly. "Thank you, sisters. But I need time to understand what this means for me."

Su Xuanhua was the first to step forward and give Light a tight hug. "We're so proud of you, Light," she said, her voice filled with warmth and pride. "You're going to be the greatest mage this world has ever seen."

Light hugged her back, his emotions finally starting to settle. "Thank you," he whispered, feeling a deep sense of gratitude and determination.

Su Hongxiu joined the hug, wrapping her arms around both of them. "You're not just a brother to us, Light. You're our hope for the future."

Athena, not wanting to be left out, quickly joined the hug, completing the circle of siblings. "We'll always be here for you, Light," she said, her voice filled with love and support. "No matter what."

The four of them stood there for a moment, locked in a tight embrace, feeling the bond between them stronger than ever. Light knew that whatever challenges lay ahead, he would face them with his sisters by his side. And with the power of three elements coursing through his veins, he was ready to take on the world.

Light's heart was still pounding as he felt the magic energies gradually settle within his body. His mind buzzed with the realization that he had awakened not just one, but three elements. The shock was still fresh in his system, yet he knew the time had come to leave the awakening chamber.

Taking a deep breath, Light turned towards his sisters, who looked at him with a mix of pride and anticipation.

Su Xuanhua, still processing the revelation, added, "You're just like Ares. Did you know he also awakened three elements during his first awakening? But after that, it was one element at each subsequent awakening."

Light was thrilled beyond measure, but he quickly realized the weight of what he had just uncovered. "We need to keep this a secret," he said, his tone suddenly serious."We should keep my innate talents a secret for now. Let's only tell everyone that I awakened the Space Element."

"What do you mean?" Su Hongxiu asked, puzzled. "This is something our family should know! They'll be so proud—"

"I know," Light interrupted gently. "But for now, let's only tell them about the Space Element. Trust me on this. When the time is right, I'll reveal everything."

His sisters hesitated, their faces filled with concern, but seeing the resolve in Light's eyes, they nodded in agreement.

Together, they exited the awakening chamber, the energy of Light's triple awakening still buzzing in the air. The moment they stepped out, they were met with eager eyes.

Ares, Hera, Hestia, and Anahita were all waiting, their anticipation palpable. As they approached, Hera was the first to ask, "Which element did you awaken, Light?"

Light took a deep breath before answering. "The Space Element."

A collective sigh of relief and joy swept through the group as they congratulated him. Ares, Hera, Hestia, and Anahita each offered their heartfelt congratulations, their pride in Light evident.

As Light basked in the congratulations from his family, the Collector, who had been observing quietly from a distance, finally stepped forward. His usually composed demeanor cracked, revealing a rare expression of shock and awe.

"The Space Element… on the first awakening?" the Collector said, his voice filled with disbelief. "This is nearly impossible. Only the most exceptional talents can achieve such a feat. I've overseen countless awakenings, but this… This is something truly extraordinary." He paused, his astonishment evident, before bowing his head slightly in respect. "Congratulations, young mage. You have achieved something that many can only dream of."

Light smiled modestly, accepting the praise, but knowing that the true magnitude of what had happened would remain hidden for now. He had awakened something far greater than anyone could imagine, and his journey was only just beginning.

But for now, the world would only know of his Space Element. The rest… that would come later, when the time was right.

With his family by his side and his true power kept in the shadows, Light was ready to forge a path that would defy fate itself. The world knew him as a prodigy, but soon they would know him as something far greater—an unstoppable force destined to change the course of history.

The path ahead was filled with challenges, but Light was ready to face them head-on. With the power of three elements coursing through him and the love of his family by his side, he was determined to carve out his destiny and become the mage he was meant to be.
