Verdantia: The New Age

It was a huge blow for the people when they learned that a void had appeared out of nowhere in the safe space. The public void agency was undergoing a tough phase due to the sudden emergence of the void. Despite their attempts to control the situation, the intense pressure from netizens demanding an explanation forced them to investigate further to prevent any future harm to the public. After a high-ranked officer assured its citizens to dig deep into this matter and explain it to them after the thorough investigation had put their minds to rest easy.

The thing is that, here everything works differently. This is not how it was predicted back during the COVID era, not how our world was going to enter in the next couple of centuries. Back then it was predicted that we would prosper, every disease would be curable and we would be on the verge of becoming a TYPE-II civilization. But, in today's world, all of it came true but with a downside to it. Humanity never expected them nor did they expect humanity. The first appearance of Vessel of Interdimensional Descent, which we call void in short was a disaster. It first appeared on 16th June of 2073 when humanity finally established itself as a TYPE-I civilization. Its sudden appearance sent everyone into an alarmed state. It first appeared in the red square of Moscow, Russia. A sudden burst of fire came out from the Void and destroyed the nearby surroundings. The military was gathered with their now highly advanced weapon using quantum particles, energy controllers, and nano techs for healing. What they saw stunned them. A soldier spoke to his commander, who was sitting in the headquarters and instructing them, through his intercom "Commander, I repeat, Commander I see something and the terrifying thing is that I don't think we are ready for this, an army of non-humans are coming towards us and I don't believe we can hold them much longer. I request a backup. We will try to hold them as long as possible.", listening to his soldier Commander Viktor was very worried and he was intrigued by the non-human thing the soldier said, Commander Viktor replied in the intercom with a commanding voice "Soldier, what do you mean by non-human, I want the perfect image of what you are seeing right now.", with that the soldier sent a picture of the creatures he was seeing and sent them to the headquarters. Commander Viktor upon seeing the picture realized something and panicked and hurriedly went to the president. He knocked upon the door of the president and the door was opened by the secretary of the president. "I greet President Zolnerov", said while saluting and the president motioned his hands without any words from his mouth to continue his report. Understanding the gesture Commander Viktor said while looking down "Sir, I believe they were right. THEY are here. It is happening.", upon listening to it, a chill ran down the spine of the president, and with a slightly terrified voice he opened his mouth and asked "How is this possible commander? Wasn't that just a story? A few days back we even confirmed it. Nothing happened like how it was described but now of every time.... HOW IS IT POSSIBLE!!!!", the commander flinched at his last outburst and said with a confident tone, "Sir, I think the world needs to get ready and we have to inform everyone to get ready and we need every resource and force to overcome this, and I believe we can do this together.", listening to it President Zolnerov asked "How much time is left?", to which Commander Viktor replied with a shaky voice "at most 3 days sir.". President Zolnerov said "Okay then I will hold a conference meeting with the help of the United Nations secretary with a issued red alert which will summon all the representatives to address the issue. This is an urgent matter and it can't be neglected. We are running out of time."

After 2 days all the brave soldiers of humanity stood before the Void prepared to sacrifice their life to ensure the safety and continuation of humanity. Cold sweats form on the foreheads of the brave soldiers without knowing their outcome. They are ready to face them head-on. The moment one step from that creature was trying to cross the void to enter the human realm, firearms were deployed and it died. Soldiers were happy that these could get killed by using the fire force they had. This continued for straight 30 hours and the fire force was over, fear started to creep on the faces of the soldiers and they started using their highly advanced weapons. This went on for a long time and all the soldiers were exhausted but not stepping down. Unfortunately in that moment of exhaustion, a creature with super mobility entered the human realm through the Void and began slaughtering the humans. The creature can only be described by what was written in legends, The Púca, a creature with a biomechanical body made of an obsidian-like exoskeleton infused with crackling energy veins with wings of shadow plasma. Many soldiers died but they found a way to deal with the creature. The soldiers pointed their plasma ray guns towards the creature and over-energized it resulting in an explosion of the creature into tiny bits. But to their horror, while they were distracted by the biomechanical creature many had already entered the human realm causing havoc everywhere. Around 18 creatures entered the realm and the void closed off. One of the creatures seeing the soldiers covered with blood and worn down with exhaustion came forward with a face full of pride and a voice carried with full of mockery and said "You can't even handle one of the foot soldiers.", not able to accept it a soldier ran towards the creature yelling "What do you know huh!!!! That biomechanical creature will not be able to harm anyone if any more like him will come!! We will defeat you even if it costs us our liv..." as the soldier was going to land a hit on the creature, the creature said "Wish granted", with uttering a single word "DUST", the soldier vanished into the air like a cloud of dust. Seeing this situation every other soldier's morale went down and didn't dare to look up into the eyes of the creature. The creature seeing this then spoke "You all are not well versed I see, It is indeed a biomechanical creature but it has a name, its species is called NYXARION.Looks like this realm heavily relies on this firepower. You disappoint me. Your species are not on that level yet so I guess I should just eliminate this realm.", as the creature was going to finalize his attack something strange happened, for the first time the creature felt fear. He was confused and looked up to see someone coming from a distance flying towards him with an intense bloodlust and stopped his attack midway. He tried to flee but the void was closed already and he began to panic. Without anywhere to go he accepted his fate and and conveyed it to the remaining creatures that came with him and was prepared for the battle of his life.
