Chapter 1359: The Power Of Creation
-----
Through my trial, I had obtained several new Skills, and all of them seemed pretty interesting.
The new Skills were:
[Spiritual Cosmic Dragon Heart: Lv7]
[Equivalent Matter Exchange: Lv4]
[Virtual Familiar Summon: Lv8]
[Celestial Astral Nanobot Summon: Lv4]
[Celestial Astral Matrix Connector: Lv4]
[Divine Maker: Lv4]
With the Spiritual Cosmic Dragon Heart Skill already tested and analyzed thoroughly, I quickly moved to the next one, Equivalent Matter Exchange.
This was a new Skill from my Subclass or Secondary Talent subcategory.
Based on its name, it shouldn't be hard to guess what it can do…
By exchanging something I can get another thing, perhaps?
It could be something to do with Domain of Creation, which is already a powerful creation ability.
"But what can I create?"
As I thought about it for a moment, simply took out one of my Spirit Orbs.
So far, these are the most valuable objects in the world due to what you can do with them.
And they're very valuable to me as they can help me both regenerate Mana and Spirit Energy, required to do almost anything related with my abilities, and also to upgrade Familiars.
Perhaps with this and… Hm.
"Let's see."
"{Equivalent Matter Exchange}"
I activated the Skill in that moment, as my eyes suddenly began glowing.
In front of my hands, a white colored balance was created.
I placed the B Rank Spirit Orb on top of that balance and moved towards the other side.
"I see, is it telling me to ask for what I want?"
Something equally as valuable as a B Rank Spirit Orb…
"I want a random B Rank Monster Corpse."
Nothing.
"So a whole B Rank monster is more valuable… makes sense."
"A random C Rank Monster corpse."
Nothing happened.
I then tried with D and F Ranks but nothing.
So I cannot wish for living beings even if they would be already dead.
Fine, I can work with that.
"I exchange this B Rank Spirit Orb for a Skill Upgrade Item."
Nothing.
I placed three more orbs, nothing.
Then six and, when that didn't work, ten more.
Twenty more.
FLAAASH!
Success.
[You have used the [Equivalent Matter Exchange] Skill to exchange 40 B-Rank Spirit Orbs for a [Skill Upgrade Crystal (B Rank)] x1!]
-----
[Skill Upgrade Crystal (B Rank)] x1
Use on a Skill that is not too strong to Upgrade their effects randomly.
One time use, once used, the item disappears.
Can only be used once per Skill.
-----
"For 40 B Rank Spirit Orbs, it's not quite worth it… But it still amazing that I obtained this."
It means that there's a lot of new possibilities with such a Skill, it even works in a very interesting way by imagining and creating the item even when I don't apply any idea to it.
Unlike the other Skills, I don't really need to use my mind to create the object, but I'll probably get something that might not be what I have in mind either.
Maybe if I am more specific I could create the item too, but this is fine for now.
"My skills are all fine though, so I don't particularly need this… Hey, Erika!"
"Hmm? Yeah?"
Erika walked to my side after she heard me calling for her, running all the way here from the forest nearby.
"Did you need something, Blake?"
"Yeah, take this."
I gave her the red colored jewel.
"Huh? What's this?"
"It's an item that can help you upgrade a skill of your choice only once per skill."
"E-Eh? Wow! That sounds strong! Really? Is it really for me?"
"Yeah, I just made it while testing a Skill."
"Thanks!"
She quickly flew to my side and kissed my lips.
"Mooch, mooch! There are your reward kisses, hehe!"
"You didn't really need to pay me for-"
"Mooch, mooch, mooch!"
She didn't stop kissing me for a few seconds…
"I love you!"
And then she hugged me.
She got really happy for some reason when it was an item I just made on the way.
Oh well, I'm glad if she's happy.
"I'll use it right now, Blake!"
She quickly imbued her will into the crystal, as it shone brightly and then merged into her own hand.
"Wow!"
She looked surprised.
"Hm? What did you choose?"
"Eh… Ah! My sword skill, let's see…"
She quickly unsheathed her blade, swinging her sword against a nearby tree.
SLASH!
And then…
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
Instead of a single slash, her attack was multiplied…
Three times!
BOOOM!
The tree she targeted instantly was sliced into three perfect slices and collapsed.
"Oh wow this is amazing! Every slash attack I do is suddenly multiplied into three! The three attacks… aren't the full power of the first, each one is only around 70% of the original power! But isn't that still a pretty big upgrade? It spreads damage much better and if I put more force, it can ultimately do even more damage!" She said.
"Yeah, it's great for what it is…" I nodded. "I didn't think it would be this strong, but the effect you gain is random, so I wasn't so sure it would be all that good. You got lucky I suppose."
I didn't want to risk my own skills, but I don't think it's possible to get a negative effect, it wasn't stated in the item itself.
"It's great! You made me become strong right away… Aren't you amazing Blake? You just always makes crazy stuff nonchalantly without even a care in the world, hahah! Actually, it's kinda funny!"
"Do I seem to be that way…? Hm well that item cost me forty B Rank Spirit Orbs…"
"F-Forty?! Isn't that a lot of money?"
"I think so, but it doesn't really matter, don't worry."
I patted her head, as she felt slightly guilty.
"Hmm, would I make up for the price with a few more kissies?"
She walked to my side, getting close to my face again.
I felt slightly embarrassed, but she had me in her webs, and I couldn't escape her cute, big eyes, and her rose colored lips.
"Perhaps…"
"Heheh~ Come here!"
There was nothing that could stop her.
