Vampire Summoner's Rebirth: Summoning The Vampire Queen At The Start

Chapter 1342: Braveblitz Meets Everyone Else

-----

Once Erika and Elizabeth served me food, I quickly started eating without hesitation, I was actually starving. Even though I did eat within the trial, once I returned to this world and also to my original body, I realized I hadn't eaten for over eight hours, which is quite a lot.

Of course, I could probably go on without eating for weeks I suppose… But the pain in my stomach would be something rather annoying, and it would take some time to get used to it.

And well, aside from being hungry, I was also craving the taste of their food, and it was delicious. I ended eating as if I had been starving for a year, Erika and Elizabeth looked at me with worried expressions.

"B-Blake, were you never able to eat in the trial? Poor thing, you're so hungry!" Erika got very worried.

"How irresponsible of the administrators of that tower, they don't even feed their participants?!" Elizabeth got angered, nagging as if she were my mother.

"Ah, no, well I did eat inside the trial, I was there for seven days," I explained. "There was quite a lot of different types of food, right Eleanora?"

Eleanora was eating a large bowl of noodles with Bolognese sauce with a lot of parmesan cheese on top, all while occasionally drinking red wine.

"Hmm? A-Ah! Yes, there was food in there," she nodded, she was quite focused on her meal. I can't say she was hungry though, she's a spirit, but she looked like she had been starving as well. "Hmm! But nothing could ever compare to the food here, you girls are amazing cooks!"

"Heheh! Really?" Erika giggled, looking happy to be praised.

"I was taught a lot of cooking techniques and more in the church," Elizabeth smiled. "I used to prepare my father's favorite meal every weekend too. He used to love cooking, but after getting to his age, it was quite tiring for him. I liked cooking because it made people smile when I served them the food they loved."

"A-Ah! Me too! I do it for that too!" Erika got a bit nervous over Elizabeth having such a detailed explanation. "Dad taught me! A-And also Blake… I like when he cooks as well, but I know that he'll get tired sometimes, and I have to cook for him too!"

"Haha, you don't have to get nervous about such explanations, Erika, it doesn't really matter why you cook, what matters is that your cooking is excellent already," I finished my meals, leaving several plates empty, I drank some milk afterwards, sighing in relief. My powerful physique required a lot of food. "Thanks for the meal, I was quite hungry."

"If you are still a bit hungry I can make more!" Erika said. "Oh! Maybe do you want some dessert?"

"Ah no, I'm fine," I sighed in relief, looking at my friends chatting between themselves. It didn't take long to be bombarded with questions once I was done eating.

"So how was the trial Blake?" Chris asked. "You brought over a huge golem, so I bet it was weird…!"

"I wonder, was the trial you went through like a dream or real?" Eric asked.

"What abilities did you gain from the trial? I can already tell you've become much stronger but that's just not enough to satisfy my curiosity," Erdrich commented.

"Was it too hard?" Elfriedden wondered. "Eventually we'll all have to go through our own trials, so I'm quite concerned…"

"Ah, well, there's a lot I need to explain but calm down," I said with a smile. "Let's go answer questions from each one of you first. I was allowed to talk about the trial by 0-10, the administrator of the tower of trials, so I can talk as much as I want about it… let's begin with Chris' question."

I looked at Chris.

"It was indeed quite weird, perhaps not as much to me due to these memories of my previous life, there were some familiar things to those memories, but to you all it would be much more bizarre," I said. "I ended becoming a biologically engineered robot- or well, golem pilot, tasked with defending a giant ark floating in space carrying millions of people that were in cryogenic sleep towards a new planet, a new world, while the world they came from had been destroyed. We protected the ark from aliens' monsters from space known as Xenoids."

"W-Woah… Wait what? I barely understood anything…" Chris muttered, scratching his head. "Pilot? And… golems? Like the Braveblitz guy?"

"Yep! Like me! Hahah!" Braveblitz nodded, while eating from a pile of unrefined ores. Apparently he could now eat ores and other magic crystals to strengthen himself and refill his fuel, which goes down over time.

"Eric, about your question… It's complicated," I said. "What I went through had already happened, I was placed within a setting of the past, one where these humans lost and were defeated by the Xenoids, never able to reach their new home. I was told to change this event, and I did. 0-10 explained this created… something called a "parallel timeline" but I am not even sure what that means."

"T-That's incredible, so trials happen for real then!" Eric said.

"I am not too sure about that, I've gone through three myself…" Suddenly, Erika's mother talked, she appeared out of nowhere. "Hello Blake, it's nice to see you again. It seems you've completed the trial, congratulations."

"Mom?! You're here? But what about protecting the Elven City?" Erika wondered.

Erika's mother, Cattalina, one of the teachers of the Academy we were and also a powerful Seven Star Talent and a Rank 8 Spirit Grand Master, she had stayed behind at the city to protect it.

But somehow she's here now…?

"Ah yes, this is not me but one of my Spirits, it's called Illusory Doppelganger," Cattalina explained. "It can take my form, and I can "possess it" to speak through them. I've come here to check how everyone is doing… And well, I'm quite lucky to find you talking about something quite important. Can I join your conversation, if you don't mind?"
