Urban Powerhouse: Chaos Supreme

Chapter 817 Explanation

"Why didn't you run away?" Lin Mo placed two pieces of Energy Crystal into his Space Ring, curiously watching Yula as he asked.

"Honorable sir, your power is like that of a Heavenly God, it has left me deeply shaken."

Yula bowed down, placing her right hand over her chest, displaying an extremely humble attitude.

"Oh, you think by saying these words, I won't kill you?"

Lin Mo said calmly.

If Yula really thought so, then she underestimated Lin Mo's resolute will to kill.

Yula raised her head, her pupils slightly contracted, feeling the murderous aura exuding from Lin Mo's body, as chilling as cold energy piercing skin and bone, making every hair stand on end.

"Sir, I absolutely wouldn't dare to think that." Yula said in fear.

"Then what do you think you can offer in trade to make me spare you?"

Lin Mo slightly squinted his eyes, his delicate face carrying a hint of coldness.

"Sir, I can tell you who is behind me and the purpose of collecting these things." Yula slowly said.

"This indeed piques my interest."

Lin Mo nodded.

Yula secretly breathed a sigh of relief, then said, "We are members of the Dark Moon, of course, this name is known to very few, perhaps one of our sub-branches, Freemasonry, you must have heard of."

"Freemasonry?"

Lin Mo frowned; isn't that the overseas Crown Prince Party, rumored to be very powerful, gathering advanced talents from many domains, all formed by second-generation rich individuals.

And it seemed Chen Qing'ai had some unusual relationship with this Freemasonry.

"Are all the members of Dark Moon Superpower Users?"

Lin Mo asked.

After all, he wasn't quite familiar with the overseas forces and their structures right now.

Seeing Lin Mo's interest, Yula immediately said, "Dark Moon is just a code name for the organization, there are only seven Superpower Users in it, with our leader being an sss-level Superpower User sir, as for other families, even Freemasonry, in our eyes, they are just ordinary people."

Lin Mo nodded slightly.

Somewhat understanding now, similar to the domestic situation, those powerful Cultivators, Magic Users might also affiliate with some families to help them handle mundane matters, in the eyes of Cultivators and Superpower Users, ordinary people are like ants.

"Are you warning me?"

Lin Mo suddenly looked at Yula with a smile and said.

The other party deliberately mentioned their leader being an sss-level Superpower User, aiming to intimidate him?

But the other party didn't know that an sss-level Superpower User is equivalent to an Emperor Realm expert, akin to the Cold Country Sword Saint.

However, even the Cold Country Sword Saint eventually died at Lin Mo's hands. With Divine Force and Innate, Lin Mo was nearly invincible.

Even against Divine Force and Innate, Lin Mo was confident he could defeat them within a year.

"I wouldn't dare, I only wish to tell you what I know, hoping you will spare my life." Yula lowered her head, her forehead gently sweating.

"What is your purpose for collecting these things?"

Lin Mo suddenly pulled out a Crystal Necklace and asked.

Yula hesitated for a moment, then said, "This is an ancient legend, it is said that after Lucifer was defeated by Gabriel, his blood stained the Holy Bible, Crystal Necklace, Magic Box, Scepter, ring, and hairpin. If the six items are gathered, it will open the Ancient Battlefield Ruins."

Hearing Yula's words, Lin Mo thought for a moment and nodded.

These items, in short, are the keys to unlocking a certain Secret Realm. As for the treasures within the Ancient Battlefield Ruins, they are surely what make Superpower Users and other strong individuals go mad.

"I already have the Crystal Necklace, Magic Box, Scepter. As for the hairpin, ring, and Scepter, they are still in others' hands," Lin Mo thought to himself.

"Where are the remaining items?"

Lin Mo furrowed his brows and asked.

"We are still searching for the remaining items, I don't know," Yula frowned and shook her head.

Lin Mo furrowed his brows.

Currently, Yula's life was in his hands, she likely wouldn't dare deceive him.

"Alright, you may leave."

Lin Mo said lightly.

Hearing Lin Mo's words, Yula was taken aback, unbelievably said, "Sir, you truly are letting me go?"

"In my eyes, you are like an ant, why not let you leave?" Lin Mo said calmly, yet exuding the majesty a Martial God should have.

Yula's expression changed slightly; in her eyes, ordinary people were like ants, but in front of a strong individual, she was also like an ant. Biting her teeth, Yula spread Wind Feather and immediately flew towards the distance.

"I guess it won't be long before your leader comes to find me, right?"

Lin Mo watched Yula leave, murmuring to himself.

He deliberately let Yula go because he estimated that Yula alone might not know the whereabouts of the remaining items. If her leader appeared, he might be able to catch and question them.

Not long after.

Yula flew for several hours towards the north before finally exhausting the energy within her body and descending slowly.

All around was pitch black, with tombstones and forests standing everywhere, ahead lay a castle shrouded in darkness.

The atmosphere was quite eerie, crows and nightingales flapped their wings flying into the sky.

"Hmm, Yula, you're back? Where are Zhu and Jimmy?"

Suddenly, a figure like an iron giant walked out from the castle, stepping on the dry leaves, making a crisp cracking sound.

"They're dead," Yula spoke directly.

The iron giant-like figure was momentarily stunned, frowning tightly, "They all died at the hands of that Huaxia person?"

Yula did not reply, continuing to walk towards the castle.

The iron giant frowned, following closely behind.

Inside the castle was dark; only random green lights drifted in the air, faintly illuminating parts of the castle's appearance, with spider webs and broken furniture everywhere, as if abandoned long ago.

In the hall of the castle, three people stood at this moment, two men and one woman.

The man in the middle was completely shrouded in a black robe, his exposed arms uncommonly pale, devoid of blood.

"Yula greets the leader, sir."

Yula walked up to the man cloaked in the black robe, knelt down on one knee, her eyes fixed downward on the floor, she saluted with utmost respect.

"Did the mission fail?"

The man within the black robe slowly spoke, his voice sounding as husky as sanding wood.

"The other side's strength exceeded our expectations, Zhu and Jimmy died at his hands," Yula said.

"Why are you able to return safely then? Yula, you wouldn't have betrayed us, would you?" The woman standing beside the leader sneered.

This woman was Asian, with long black hair, a voluptuous figure, and alluring features, named Fire Phoenix.

Yula kept her head lowered and said, "Leader, I absolutely wouldn't betray Dark Moon. The other side spared me because he is too confident, or perhaps he wants you to personally eliminate him." The man in the black robe remained silent for a while before slowly saying, "To kill Jimmy and Zhu and letting you return, his power indeed makes me reconsider, but he must die!"

(The wonderful story will continue tomorrow.)
