Lin Mo immediately recognized the girl's identity; it was Wu Yuexin, Su Xinhe's friend, whom he had met once at the casino.

He hadn't expected that she would still remember him.

"What a coincidence?" Lin Mo smiled politely.

Although Wu Yuexin was not drop-dead gorgeous, her features were delicate and she had the petite charm of an Eastern woman. Her skin was fair, making her look delicate and adorable, paired with her golden, wavy hair that added a touch of sophistication.

Lin Mo's keen eye noticed that Wu Yuexin was wearing international brand-name clothes and carrying a luxury handbag, each item worth tens of thousands. It was not something an average family could afford for a child.

"The shareholders of this hotel include my dad, so sometimes I come here to help out," Wu Yuexin said with a smile, her eyes curving into crescents.

"I see."

Lin Mo wasn't very familiar with her, and was planning to leave after saying hello.

However, Wu Yuexin took the initiative and asked, "Lin Mo, where are you headed?"

"Just out to buy a few things to give to someone."

"I'm familiar with Las Vegas. I can take you there since I've just finished work," Wu Yuexin said, blinking her bright eyes.

Lin Mo hesitated for a moment, then nodded. He was planning to buy some gifts for Xia Mengdie, Yingzi, his mother, and others. Since he wasn't versed in what girls like, Wu Yuexin, being a girl herself, could be of help.

"You're Xinhe's friend, and Xinhe is my best friend, so that makes you my friend too. It's no trouble to help out a little," Wu Yuexin said with a courteous wave of her hand.

During college, Xinhe didn't like to talk and it was always me who initiated conversations and became her best friend. She worked hard every day at studying, hoping to excel, saying she wanted to surpass someone."

Lin Mo's steps paused for a moment, thinking that the person Su Xinhe wanted to surpass was probably him.

A bitter smile appeared at the corner of Lin Mo's mouth. Su Xinhe was a determined girl.

"She wants to surpass me, I guess. Tell her she's already done it," Lin Mo said lightly.

In truth, he didn't want Su Xinhe to know his true identity; that way, at least, she could live happier.

"Alright, but I feel she has feelings for you," Wu Yuexin pouted, gently sighing.

Lin Mo also sighed softly, then changed the topic, "Help me pick out some jewelry. I'm not very knowledgeable in this area."

"Okay." Wu Yuexin nodded, refocusing her thoughts.

Wu Yuexin was quite puzzled as well. Su Xinhe said Lin Mo wasn't doing well, but she'd asked her father yesterday, and the people with Lin Mo were top figures of the Tang Sect. Even her father treated those people with great respect.

And those top figures of the Tang Sect were exceedingly respectful to Lin Mo, indicating he holds a high position in the sect.

"Take out this diamond pendant for a look," Lin Mo, ignoring Ren Chengping entirely, addressed the attendant at the counter.

For Lin Mo, mastering any language was as easy as drinking water.

"Certainly, sir." The sales attendant smiled and placed the necklace on the glass counter.

"This necklace is one of our mall's featured products, priced at twelve thousand US dollars," the attendant said with a smile.

Lin Mo glanced at it and frowned slightly.

Seeing this, Ren Chengping sneered instantly, "Buddy, that's twelve thousand US dollars. Better put it back; if you damage it, you can't afford to pay."
