Chapter 163: Tracking Scarface

```
The man was just snorting drugs, lying on the table, when he ran out halfway through, which of course made him furious. He banged the table and ranted angrily, while another man ran straight to the entrance and called the waiter in.
Ye Qing, seeing that the situation had changed, leaned back at the window, carefully observing the scene inside.
The waiter kept apologizing to the man inside, but the man paid him no heed, demanding that he bring the manager. With no other choice, the waiter eventually went to fetch a manager.
When Ye Qing saw the manager, his eyes lit up. He recognized him, to be precise, he had beaten him up before. After Zhao Chengshuang first took him out to eat, this manager led a group to ambush him, but ended up getting a beatdown from Ye Qing in an alley. Ye Qing even remembered his name, it was something like Scarface. However, he was not the same person as Scarred Yang, who worked for Li Lianshan.
Scarface walked in and immediately laughed obsequiously, "Boss Chen, what's the matter, who's pissed you off? Tell me, and I'll sort them out for you right away!"
Boss Chen gestured dismissively, his voice filled with indignation, "Xiao Li, I've been coming to your place for more than a day or two now, I'm a regular customer, am I not? This joint used to be really good. Whatever you wanted, girls or goods, they had it all, and you could play however you liked. But what the hell is going on recently? Why is every batch you supply me short?"
Boss Chen turned to the side and pointed at the two men behind him, his voice still full of anger, "These two are my longtime friends. I specially brought them over today to have some fun. And what happens? You skimp on the stuff you give me? This is only the second round, and we're already running out, how the hell am I supposed to play?
Is Boss Lin starting to scam the customers now that he's made enough money?"
Scarface looked embarrassed and kept his smile, "Boss Chen, lately... lately our place indeed has been a bit short on stock; the supply side had some minor issues. But don't worry, I'll have someone bring the goods to you right away, we'll make sure you have a great time!"
Hearing this, Boss Chen cooled down a bit and said, "Xiao Li, I'm not just saying this, you can't do business like this. Shenchuan City isn't the only place with a venue like this. If you chase away the customers, it's going to be tough to get them back!"
Scarface nodded repeatedly, "Yes, yes, of course, of course. I'm really sorry, Boss Chen, I'll discuss it with Eldest Brother!"
"Alright then, hurry up and send the stuff over, how the hell are we supposed to play without it!" said Boss Chen, waving his hand.
Scarface bowed and nodded, exiting the private room with the waiter. From his vantage point at the window, Ye Qing couldn't see what Scarface was doing on the other side. However, this was a big opportunity; Ye Qing was curious to see where Boss Lin's stash was kept.
Ye Qing looked around; the windows on the third and fourth floors were basically the same. In a corner on the fourth floor, there was a window that was slightly different - it was smaller, and it seemed unlike those of the private rooms.
Ye Qing could not directly enter the building to follow Scarface; he could only take a gamble that the room on the fourth floor was Scarface's office. If it was, he could follow Scarface; if not, he would have to wait for another chance to find out.
Just like before, Ye Qing climbed up to the fourth floor. The windows between the rooms were quite close to each other, making it easy for Ye Qing to move from one to another on the same level.
Quietly reaching the special window, he slid it open a bit, and immediately felt that this window was completely different from those of the private rooms. The window could only open a small portion and couldn't be fully opened. Therefore, it was impossible to enter the room through this window. Moreover, the glass clearly wasn't ordinary either; it was very strong.
Even if it wasn't bulletproof, it was definitely not something one could easily shatter.
There had to be something up with this room.
Ye Qing hid by the window, opened just a small crack, and listened with a cocked ear.
Less than half a minute later, the room's door was indeed opened, and Scarface walked in cursing and swearing.
"That damn Chen, he really thinks he's something special. Fucking bastard, just because he's got a few factories in Shenchuan City, he acts like he's some big-shot boss. Daring to boss me around, if it wasn't for the sake of the business, I would have chopped that bastard up long ago!"
Scarface was clearly angry, frustrated by having to put on an act of civility downstairs. The waiter who followed him didn't dare to speak, seeing Scarface in such a state.
After cursing for a while in the room, Scarface still helplessly opened a drawer, took out a small bag of powder, and tossed it to the waiter. "Get that to Chen!"
The waiter took the powder and left. Scarface, looking at the nearly empty drawer, frowned and picked up the phone on the desk, dialing a string of numbers.
"Eldest Brother, it's Xiao Li. There's been no trouble at the place, but our supply is running low. The stuff's been coming in way too little these past days, I had to stretch two days' supply to sell over three, and a lot of customers are not happy. If we don't get more goods soon, I'm afraid we'll start losing them. I know, I know, we can't let those guys show their faces right now.
But no matter what, we've got to get some supply to keep things going. It's pretty late, Ye must be asleep by now, so how about I sneak out and get some stuff? Don't worry, there will be no problem, who can keep up with me?"
After hanging up the phone, Scarface called a waiter in and told him to keep an eye on the office, while he grabbed the car keys and went downstairs.
Ye Qing overheard him making the call, and this was a significant find—Scarface was going to pick up the stash. Ye Qing was on the lookout for his hiding spot, and this was the perfect opportunity.
Without giving it further thought, Ye Qing climbed down from the upstairs area and immediately ran to the underground parking garage. Scarface had already arrived there, fiddling with the car keys in his hand, completely unaware of Ye Qing hiding nearby.
Scarface walked over to a car, opened the door, and climbed in. At that moment, Ye Qing, like a nimble cat, dashed over from behind and grabbed hold of the car's rear bumper, stretching his feet onto the protruding parts of the chassis and hung on underneath the car.
Scarface, humming a tune and oblivious to the events behind him, drove out of the parking lot. Ye Qing hung beneath the car, watching the ground pass by and counting the turns and directions to estimate where Scarface was heading.
Scarface was a clever man; he didn't drive straight to the stash. Instead, he took a few laps around the city. He kept checking his rearview mirror to make sure he wasn't being followed. Finally satisfied, he then changed direction and headed out of the city area.
The vehicle entered the East City District, which was mostly abandoned factories, as it used to be an industrial area. Because of pollution issues, not many people lived here, making it seem extremely spacious. V*isi$t% My V$irtua*l L-ib*r.ary Em.pir&e (M-_%V*LE+MPY$R)& for m&o-re@.
Scarface drove around the industrial area, about seven miles out, and entered a run-down manor. The estate was large, surrounded by a hedge, giving off an idyllic appearance. All around, there was evidence of cattle and sheep, suggesting the manor was some sort of farm. From the outside, anyone would think it was just a farm, oblivious to the other activities being conducted within.
There were two rows of bungalows in the manor, with brick courtyards in front of them. The yards were spacious enough to fit about ten cars with no problem.
Scarface pulled up to the entrance and honked his horn twice, which was met with a fierce barking of dogs. Then, a light came on inside the courtyard, and footsteps approached the gate, shouting, "Who's there?"
"Your father!" Scarface yelled out the window.
Recognizing Scarface's voice, the man inside hurriedly opened the gate. Scarface drove in, and the man quickly closed the gate behind him.
The gate opener was a man in his thirties, wearing slippers and a tank top, with a trace of fierceness on his face that marked him as a troublesome character.
"Li, what brings you here so late?" the man asked.
"Eldest Brother sent me to pick up some goods," Scarface got out of the car and cursed at the dogs that kept barking, "Damn it, keep barking and I'll stew you!"
"You don't come often; they'd get used to it if you did." The man waved his hand, signaling the dogs to stop barking, but they kept on at it.
The man shrugged and said, "You just haven't been around lately; they don't recognize you anymore."
"Damn, I'd like to come, but do I dare? Boss Lin has gotten so rattled by that Ye kid, we're about ready to abandon the business. All these animals moved from the city and kept here, we have to feed and water them every day, costing a fortune. Even if they aren't carrying goods, just letting them out on the streets could make us a few grand a day.
But no, instead of earning, we're losing money by the day. If you ask me, we should either square off with Ye or just dump all these beasts into the sea. Why spend all this money feeding them? It just makes me sick to look at them," Scarface spat and complained while walking toward the buildings with the man.
The man chuckled and replied, "Heh, if we got rid of all the animals, it'd take too long to train new ones. I think Ye won't be jumping around for much longer. Once we deal with him, these guys can hit the streets again, bringing in a big income. Dumping them in the sea now would mean we'd have to catch them one by one later, maim them one by one; too much hassle."
"Yeah, it all comes down to Ye screwing us over," Scarface grumbled as they walked toward the house. "If I get my hands on him, I'll chop off his hands and feet, put him on a board, and make him beg on the streets every day. I won't let him die. I want to torment him enough before chopping him up and tossing him into the sea."
"Li, you sure know how to have fun!" the man laughed and said, "But I just don't get it. What's the deal with this Ye? Why does he have to be against Boss Lin? Do you think there might be some other reason?"
