Chapter 105: Wang Baye, the Nemesis of Shrews

Young Master Wei knew Black Bear was physically strong, but he had never anticipated that he could be so overpowerably strong.

Although the two young men were thin, each of them weighed over one hundred and twenty jin. Black Bear lifted each of them with one hand—how was that even possible? This man's strength was too ferocious!

Seeing Black Bear charging forward, Young Master Wei got scared and urgently said, "Stop him! Hurry, stop him!"

The remaining seven or eight youths charged at him together, clumsily trying to pin Black Bear down.

Black Bear did not dodge. He let these people punch and kick him while he fought back. One punch, one kick per person—anyone hit by him couldn't stand up again.

During his time in the army, only Ye Qing was a match for Black Bear in one-on-one combat, but his strength was still extremely ferocious. Not to mention anything else, just his imposing and formidable physique alone made it difficult for average people to bring him down. And if his punch landed, even a well-trained Special Forces soldier would be in trouble, let alone these decadent pretty boys.

Young Master Wei was completely terrified. He didn't dare to stay any longer, turning around and hurriedly running out of the private room, trying to escape for his life. But he had barely run out for two seconds when he screamed in pain, clutching his head as he stumbled back inside.

A sleazy-looking man with a middle parting appeared at the door, holding a stick he had found from who knows where, and looked at Young Master Wei with a grin, "You little runt, though your Wang Baye isn't much of a fighter, I still have more than enough to deal with you."

This man was none other than the Traitor Dealer Old Wang Ba. As soon as he finished his sentence, he suddenly realized something was wrong and hurriedly corrected himself, "Uh, I mean your Old Wang... damn, there's something wrong with this ranking!"

The old scammer just realized there was a problem with his surname and ranking, oblivious to the fact that Ye Qing had already renamed him Old Wang Ba in private.

Meanwhile, Black Bear had subdued those young men and was taking big steps towards Young Master Wei. But as he had only walked a couple of steps, Ye Qing suddenly shouted from behind, "Watch out!"

Black Bear wasn't Ye Qing. He couldn't react as quickly. Just as he was about to turn his head, a wine bottle smashed directly onto his head, shattering into pieces.

Black Bear was stunned for a moment, turned around, and saw a heavily made-up girl behind him. Her face was painted like a ghost with trendy smoky makeup, something Black Bear really couldn't appreciate; he even thought he had seen a ghost and was genuinely startled.

"You dare to hit my husband, I'll fight you!" The girl screamed and picked up another bottle, charging to smash it over Black Bear's head again. However, this time Black Bear was prepared. As soon as her bottle came near, he threw a punch at it, smashing the bottle to pieces.

The girl was momentarily stunned. Seeing Black Bear's large fist, she shivered, took a step back, and hastily said, "Your... your captain just said it's not manly to hit women, you... you stay back, or I'll scream harassment!"

Apparently, this woman knew that Ye Qing had a habit of not hitting women, which emboldened her to strike. Her statement suddenly reminded the other girls, who were eagerly looking for bottles.

Black Bear didn't hit the girl. His punches were heavy, and he was afraid she wouldn't be able to take even one.

However, just because Black Bear didn't hit her, didn't mean others wouldn't. Old Wang Ba had walked in at some point, swinging a big stick onto the girl's head, promptly knocking her down.

Old Wang Ba set upon her with a flurry of brutal kicks and punches, his fierce demeanor no less than Black Bear's. While he was beating her, he cursed, "Are you even a woman? I think you're just a shrew. Damn it, I, your Eighth Master, was born to counter shrews. I just can't help wanting to beat them when I see them."

The girl was screaming miserably and struggling, yelling, "You... you hit women, you're not a real man!"

Old Wang Ba didn't care and hit her even harder, "Less of your damn nonsense. If I've hit you, I've hit you. I refuse to believe that hitting you will turn me into an eunuch!"

Seeing the girl being beaten, the others who had found bottles immediately put them down and sat quietly on the side, not daring to look any further. They were afraid that Old Wang Ba might notice them and see the potential for them to be shrews as well, which would truly be a case of disaster flying in!

"What's going on? What's happening? Who is causing trouble here?"

With a muffled voice, a dozen men entered the private room. Leading them was a man with a scarred face and fierce eyes—Zhang Yang, the Tycoon's enforcer, also nicknamed Scarred Yang.

Seeing Scarred Yang, Young Master Wei ran up to him as if he'd seen a savior, and urgently said, "Yang, save me!"

Scarred Yang recognized Young Master Wei, knew he was a notorious scion of Shenchuan City with a deep background. Looking at the other people in the room, all unfamiliar faces, he hadn't seen any of them before.

Having been in this line of business for so long, Scarred Yang could tell at a glance who could be offended and who couldn't.

"Young Master Wei, are you all right?" Scarred Yang stood up, pulling Young Master Wei to his side, an action that clearly showed he was willing to back him up.

With Scarred Yang's backing, Young Master Wei immediately felt emboldened, pointed at Black Bear and angrily said, "Damn it, these bastards came here looking for trouble, they've even hit your waiters. Yang, they're clearly here to wreck the place!"

Scarred Yang's face grew cold as he stared at Black Bear, his voice deep, "This brother looks unfamiliar. Which area are you from?"

Black Bear did not speak. He had just arrived in Shenchuan City today. Where could he possibly belong?

Thinking that Black Bear was disrespecting him, Scarred Yang couldn't help but get angry and said with a heavy voice, "I don't know where our Tycoon has offended this friend, but why have you come here to cause trouble?"

Black Bear looked impatient, pointing at Young Master Wei behind Scarred Yang, "Hand him over to me, and we'll leave right now!"

Young Master Wei shuddered. It seemed this formidable man had set his sights on him. If he didn't figure out a way to handle him, he'd probably live in constant fear from now on.

"Master Wei is a regular at the Tycoon, and when he's consuming here, he should be under our protection. Whatever grievance you have with Master Wei, you'll have to settle it outside. We won't interfere. But if you start a fight in the Tycoon, you're essentially tearing down our sign," Scarred Yang said with a cold smile, "This is the first time I've seen someone dare to cause trouble at the Tycoon. UploadedbytheM|V|L(EMPYR)team.

You've got quite the guts!"

Scarred Yang was hinting at Black Bear that the Tycoon had a profound backing, and nobody dared to cause trouble here.

However, Black Bear was a straightforward man. To put it plainly, he was single-minded and didn't think too much.

"I just want him. Will you hand him over or not?" Black Bear demanded, his attitude extremely aggressive.

Scarred Yang snapped angrily, "Master Wei is a regular of the Tycoon and also a friend of mine. This is the Tycoon's territory, and you expect me to hand over my friend on my own ground? Hmph, you really don't take Scarred Yang seriously, do you?"

Black Bear roared, "Hand him over if you're going to hand him over. If not, we fight. Who the hell talks so much crap!"

Scarred Yang was stunned for a moment; there were about a dozen men by his side, and these were not like the so-called subordinates of Young Master Wei. Those guys were just there to mooch off him, a bunch of useless pretty boys who made a lot of noise but had no real ability. They were worthless in a fight.

The dozen men around Scarred Yang, however, were different—big and experienced brawlers. Although they looked nothing compared to Black Bear, several of them even had blood on their hands and were extremely ruthless.

That Black Bear was able to take down Young Master Wei's men surprised Scarred Yang but he didn't take it seriously. He looked down on those pretty boys; how could they compare to his own men?

Yet, facing his dozen men, Black Bear remained as assertive as ever, which really annoyed Scarred Yang.

"Looks like we have no choice but to fight today!" Scarred Yang sighed and, with a look of resigned despair, waved his hand, "Show him some color!"

Immediately, two men stepped out from beside Scarred Yang, while the others showed no intention to join in. They had only sent two men considering Black Bear's robust build; normally one would have sufficed.

"Brother Yang, this guy is quite capable; two might not be enough," whispered Young Master Wei by his side.

Scarred Yang leisurely lit a cigarette for Young Master Wei and smiled, "Don't worry, two are more than enough to handle him!"

No sooner had he spoken than a scream sounded from over there, issued by one of his men.

Scarred Yang immediately turned to look, only to see the two men he had sent lying on the ground—one clutching his face and rolling, the other hoisted overhead by Black Bear and slammed down.

One hundred fifty pounds of man, hurled by Black Bear for five or six meters, crashed into the crowd around Scarred Yang, causing a commotion.

Scarred Yang was still sitting and had no time to dodge, crushed directly under the man. It wasn't painful, but it was certainly embarrassing.

"Damn it, kill him! Kill him!" cried Scarred Yang in a furious fit, no longer pretending to be tough.

The remaining men surged forward as Old Wang Ba grabbed a club and, pulling Huo Pingping who was hiding to the side, ran into the restroom, clearly understanding the situation.

Facing the ten or so men, Black Bear stood proud as a mountain, his tower-like stature imposing beyond measure. Before the men could reach him, he suddenly turned, grabbed a marble table nearby with a roar, and astonishingly lifted it by himself.

The men had not reached Black Bear yet, but seeing this, they nearly wet themselves and collectively turned to retreat. However, due to their numbers in the small room, a few were too slow in turning around.

Carrying the marble table, Black Bear directly smacked down the three men behind him. Their screams for their parents were pitiful as they were crushed by the heavy marble table, at best breaking their legs, at worst snapping their ribs.

Seeing Black Bear's devastating action, Scarred Yang almost bit his cigarette in half. That strength was simply terrifying!
