Unwritten Mythos

Angel Assault

White hair, red eyes, sprouting vampire bat wings, and a pure white body of a thousand wings, the two fought, separated by a clear line into red and white extremes.

Fresh blood fell upon the sky, transforming it, even exceeding the limit of a human's blood reserve.

The blood converged into a river of blood, engulfing the earth, and giant blood thorns erupted from the ground, stabbing toward the heavens!

The angel wings, like giant silver blades, continued to slash towards the earth.

The longest of them spanned nearly 12 meters, clashing incessantly with the blood thorns, sometimes the wings shattered the blood columns, sometimes the blood columns pierced the wings.

The two were locked in a stalemate, and as the battle dragged on, more and more people noticed the commotion.

008, despite his mastery and skill, could not defeat the angel.

And while the two were locked in a stalemate, it was actually 008 who was losing.

Because the 023 angel was a creature that could grow stronger, today 008 could hold his own, but tomorrow, the next day, the day after, the scales of victory would likely tip in her favor.

008 dodged a slashing wing, his figure soaring into the sky.

Lilith had been carried away by Shino. Seeing this, 008's gaze shifted. That kid had some sharp eyes.

"Lilith is a lovely child, not much younger than my son. You know, I've always treated her as a daughter."

Moon, without stopping her attacks, replied, "So, you showed yourself because of her? I thought a monster like you wouldn't be swayed by any sort of sentiment."

The two fought from the ground to the sky, then back down again. 008 raised his hand, and two enormous blood scythes sliced through the air, cleaving towards the angel!

"A monster like me, huh? And what are you?"

"Why do you obey the GPA? For benefits? Ha, I don't think they can offer anything worthwhile!"

The angel's wings and the blood scythes clashed, producing a ringing sound of metal striking.

This time, Moon remained silent.

008 launched a relentless assault, blood transforming and coalescing into various shapes, attacking the angel!

"You love to argue, why don't you try and refute me!"

Moon's pure white eyes flashed. "If you really want to chat, I can chat with you all day."

008, hearing this, suddenly withdrew his attack and clapped his hands together with a resounding clap.

"Sorry, I'm not interested."

Poof!

The blood vessels on the angel's body burst, a torrent of fresh blood erupting from the wounds!

"Seems like angels bleed, too."

Hearing 008's words, the angel's head twisted, and the blood that had just erupted from her body flowed back into her in an instant.

"It's true I bleed, but my blood, my body, my power – they all belong to me. You think you can control them? Do you really believe you can?"

008 retreated.

Apparently, the angel's self-control had reached a certain level.

She could control everything about her own body, even the blood within, wresting control from 008.

In the sky, a giant eye silently watched everything.

...

In the Crack Space, Mei was writing in her notebook.

"The angel seems to have the ability to control every inch of her body, down to the cellular level. But she didn't seem to have that ability before, maybe she's evolved."

"Is this an evolution towards a perfect life form?"

Mei said, taking a quill and marking an "S-rank potential" behind the record.

The same S-rank potential was also given to demon.

As for 008, Mei had only given him an A-rank potential.

This was a conclusion based on their current abilities, not including their potential for further evolution.

Of course, angel likely wouldn't need future potions to assist with her evolution.

Her innate growth nature was already incredibly terrifying.

...

Seeing his blood manipulation fail, 008 instantly flapped his wings and flew backward.

"Dogs."

As he spoke, countless pairs of crimson blood-red eyes suddenly flickered from the shadows!

Moon was about to attack, only to see a myriad of Vampires, literally millions, charging at her from all directions!

This number?

Moon's brow furrowed. She flapped her wings, directly cleaving through a massive number of Vampires.

But cutting them wasn't enough. These Vampires had an astonishing regeneration ability, and their cut-open bodies quickly closed back up.

However, the angel wings carried neurotoxins, causing the injured Vampires to experience extreme pain. Once injured, they would writhe on the ground for a long time before recovering.

But the sheer number of them was just too much.

"Angel, come back! There are others who are headed your way!"

A man's voice came from the radio. The angel turned her head, and saw an elderly man in a white robe standing behind her.

The man, looking even more carefree, waved to her.

"Old man here, loves teaching young'uns the Tai Chi beatdown."

Moon's brows furrowed, and she saw the old man suddenly strike out with a palm!

A whirlwind of energy shot directly toward the angel. Moon flapped her wings, trying to dispel the whirlwind, but the energy swirled around her body instead!

A second later, the world around Moon changed.

She appeared in a room, with eight doorways, each bearing a different symbol.

"Eight Gates, only one path leads to life."

"Kid, good luck."

...

Outside.

Seeing the angel vanish into thin air, all the Vampires were stunned.

"The angel's gone?"

A purple figure descended from the sky and approached the old man.

"Can your ability kill an angel?"

Juan pondered for a moment. "Not so easy to say, but trapping her for a while should be no problem. If she really can't find her way out, then killing her might be possible."

As Juan spoke, the space before them suddenly warped, and the angel reappeared!

"What?!"

Juan's eyes went wide. "What the?"

"How did she get out so fast?"

"Right… how did she do that?"

Naira Sorkin was also dumbfounded.

Logically, the Eight Gates, while not capable of killing the angel, should at least be able to hold her for a while.

But she was trapped for less than a minute before escaping?

As for the matter at hand, Moon had immediately thought of a solution.

She spread her wings on the spot, using her eight largest wings to simultaneously pierce the eight gates. The wing that remained undamaged would be the entrance to the path of life.

This problem seemed rather simple to her.

Moon turned her head towards Naira Sorkin and Juan. Sensing that something was wrong, the two immediately retreated.

Naira Sorkin's ability was gravity manipulation, with a limit of 500kg. Beyond that weight, his gravity manipulation had no effect.

In a way, Naira Sorkin, like Juan, possessed incredibly powerful control over his abilities.

The two of them working together meant they had no lack of opponents.

However, when Naira Sorkin attempted to manipulate the angel's gravity, he discovered something absolutely astounding.

The angel's weight was actually over five hundred kilograms!

What kind of monster was this?!
