Chapter 11: CHAPTER 11 : UMROANNUAL COMPETITIONS —RISE OF THE CHAOS HEIR
The cell reeked of rusted chains and regret.
Brianna sat cross-legged on the cracked stone floor, her once-vibrant energy suppressed by enchanted cuffs glowing faintly around her wrists. The faint purple burn still shimmered on her neck — a reminder of Queen Sytherra's brutal spell.
In the surrounding cells, spectral inmates muttered and sneered.
"That's the heir?"
"Half-human runt."
"Royal? She smells like weakness."
But none dared cross her boundary.
Not after one ghost reached through the bars to mock her yesterday — only to scream as the air around her pulsed violently, burning his hand to ash.
Even shackled, Brianna radiated something dangerous. Something ancient.
She had no friends. No warmth. Only the silence of her mother's absence and the throbbing heat of vengeance curling in her chest.
---
Elsewhere — The Ghost Jail's Lower Levels
Colonel Russell strolled through the halls with measured steps. He wasn't just a warden — he was a legend in spectral enforcement.
But he paused at the gate of Cell 7.
Inside, lounging with calculated grace, was Lady Seraphyne — Brianna's mother, former noble of Umraterra, now prisoner of high offense.
"Well well well," she said, lips curling into a smile. "Look who it is."
Mr Russell leaned in watched her in chains as she lowered her blouse slightly showing her huge melons.
" Something tells me you haven't enjoyed a woman for a while. Do you... mind if I...,"said Lady Seraphyne moving to the bars. She grabbed his tie and pulled him close for a kiss through the bars. Her left hand trailed down and grabbed his crotch.
He panicked and pulled away.
" What do you want you pervert?" He asked wiping his lips.
" I want you." She said pulling her dress up slowly revealing her thighs. She stopped and came close to the bars. " Are you sure you don't want to touch me?" She teased.
He hesitated.
"Hiw about we make a deal then. You still have my scythe locked up, don't you?" she asked.
"You know it was confiscated. Illegal Weapons Chamber. Guarded by Lady Georgia's seal."
She leaned forward, eyes glittering with mischief. "Just bring me the scythe in exchange of anything erotic you want from me."
Colonel Russell grinned sheepishly and walked away.

Two Days Later – D-Day
The gates of Terra Jail boomed open.
Guards dragged Brianna out, chains rattling as they bound her wrists, ankles, and midsection. Her eyes were hollow, lips cracked, stomach empty — but her aura still flared faintly beneath it all.
Outside, the sky burned with ghost fire.
Terra Stadium, the heart of Umraterra's war-born tradition, rose like a colossal arena of judgment. Millions of ghosts from every walk of death floated in anticipation. Banners waved, ash spiraled upward, and ethereal bells rang slow, eerie chimes.
The Games had begun.
---
In the Skybox...
King Xalor leaned on his obsidian balcony, face impassive.
Queen Sytherra sipped from a crystal goblet laced with cursed moonlight, amused.
"She looks pathetic," she murmured.
"She's still alive," Xalor said. "That means something."
Below, the announcer ghost roared:
"Welcome, spirits of Umraterra! This year, the UmroAnnual Competitions are unlike any before!"
The crowd hushed.
"There will be no qualifiers. No stages. No hopefuls. Only one."
"Brought in chains… the traitor's daughter… the child of both living and dead… She will now face our realm's ten greatest champions, past and present."
"And if she survives…"
Silence.
"She will earn her place."
The crowd erupted.
Besides, a change sounded more exciting than the usual way of activities.
---
ROUND ONE: THE GHOST HORDE
The gates around Brianna opened.
Ghosts of all forms — skeletal beasts, berserker warriors, enraged whisperers — charged toward her in waves.
Brianna stumbled backward, weak and drained.
One slashed her cheek.
Another knocked her to the ground.
A heavy specter pinned her down, its jaw wide open with hollow hunger.
Survive... or die.
Instinct roared to life.
She grabbed the ghost by its throat and — not knowing how — absorbed it.
A rush of power surged through her body. Memories. Essence. Pain. Strength.
She stood — bleeding, glowing.
The horde paused.
And Brianna gave a wicked smile. Che created chaotic energy balls and blasted them one by one.
---
ROUND TWO: THE DEATHFIELDS
The arena transformed into a trap-laden wasteland.
Spinning ghost-blades. Pillars of fire. Floating mines of spirit energy.
She dashed through all of it, dodging death by breath-widths.
Her foot hit a cursed seal—chains wrapped her body midair.
She fell screaming.
A glyph mine detonated.
BOOM.
The arena went silent.
Then gasped.
Brianna floated back up, black wings made of chaos mist unfurling from her back, glowing veins crawling across her arms.
"What the f... !"
"She has wings?"
" Cool."
Brianna wasn't breathing heavily anymore.
She was calm.Honed.Deadlier.
She fed again. A crippled ghost nearby screamed as his essence was drawn in.
Brianna howled — stronger now, skin lit with chaotic veins.
In the skybox, Queen Sytherra's smile faded.
"She's… adapting."
"She's surviving," said King Xalor, eyes narrowing.
---
ROUND THREE: THE FINAL THREE
The announcer's voice trembled:
"And now… the last challenge…"
Three massive ghost gates swung open.
From the first came Gharon, a 12-foot armored titan ghost — Champion #3 — fists carved from deathstone, footsteps shaking the arena.
From the second slithered Venaxa, a two-headed ghost serpent-woman with split personalities and venomous charm — Champion #2.
And from the third floated Sairo, Champion #1 — a boy no older than fifteen, wrapped in elemental power. Water, wind, fire, earth. He controlled it all.
Brianna, bloodstained and glowing, rose to her feet.
"Come on," she said.
---
Gharon charged first. A hammer-fist aimed at her skull.
She rolled. Jumped. Climbed his back like a spider — then drove her fist into his neck, absorbing his strength. The giant roared and crumbled.
The crowd gasped in shock.
" That was so first..."
Before Brianna could celebrate,Venaxa coiled and bit. Her poison entered Brianna's skin.
Brianna screamed — then grabbed one of her heads and blasted it with a massive dark energy ball. The second head shrieked in agony and vanished in mist.
The crowd roared in applause.
" Hurray!"
" She did it again."
" Precise and awesome...."
Only Sairo remained now.
He didn't speak.
He summoned fire, lightning, frost, and storm.
He was the weather.
He raised a storm around them. Fire burned. Water sliced. Wind screamed.
Brianna growled, crouched low… then surged through it all.
He launched an ice spear.
She caught it.
"Cute."
Then broke it — and flung a chaos beam that exploded across the stadium.
Sairo tried to phase into mist — but Brianna blinked beside him.
"You're fast. I'm faster now."
She knocked him unconscious with a chaos-infused punch.
He hit the floor like a star falling.
When the smoke cleared, only Brianna stood.
---
AFTERMATH
The stadium fell into stunned silence.
Then…
A thousand spirits bowed.
Then a million.
The crowd worshipped her.
"She's the Alpha…"
"She's the One..."
"HEIR! HEIR! HEIR!"
Queen Sytherra stood, eyes wide. "This… is impossible."
King Xalor stood slowly, brows furrowed.
"She is… chaos incarnate."
Brianna looked up, her body steaming, her wings fading into mist.
She slowly raised her hand.
And pointed directly at the Royal Box.
"I'm coming for you."
---
Meanwhile…
In the lower halls of Terra Jail, Colonel Russell unlocked the Illegal Weapons Chamber.
Inside, bound in glowing chains… rested the scythe of Lady Seraphyne.
Behind him, a seductive voice whispered:
"Good boy."
He turned around and met Lady Seraphyne holding a club.
" How did you...."
She hit him on the head and he fell down unconsciously. She looked at the scythe. It glowed a purple hue and floated to her.
" Come to mother. Did you miss me?"
It bursted in purple flames.
" I missed you too. Now let's check on Anna." She said grasping it and turning around. But just as she did,a greenish smoke bursted at the door. When it settled, she saw Lady Georgia arms crossed on her chest.
" Going somewhere?" Lady Georgia asked summoning a blazing sword.
