Chapter 83: The Creator Goddess , Death Goddess and Divine Bullshit

Ethan sighed. "Oh come on, not this again."

He braced himself for the usual time-stop weirdness, but this time, it was different, disturbingly different. The air around him cracked. The ground beneath his feet fractured like glass. Even the sky above split open like some shattered mirror reflecting a thousand realities. Then, in the center of it all, a swirling vortex formed, like a black hole stitched together with lightning.

"The hell is this?!" Ethan shouted, just before he felt an unseen force yank him into the void. His body flailed uselessly as he was dragged into the darkness. Everything around him disappeared.

Pitch black.

He tumbled through nothing, an endless fall through a place without walls, floor, or sky. It felt eternal, until it wasn't.

Without warning, the vortex spat him out like chewed gum. He was literally puked from the void. A gross gurgling sound accompanied his landing, as if even the dimensional rift didn't want anything to do with him.

"Tch." Ethan clicked his tongue as he hit... well, nothing.

He stood up—or rather, floated. There was no floor, yet he wasn't falling. Around him was a vast emptiness. But on his left, his hand began to glow with a thick, black mist. It shimmered like obsidian smoke, curling around his fingers. On his right, golden light pulsed and radiated from his palm like warm sunlight.

"What is this...?" Ethan muttered.

He took a single step—and found himself walking through thin air.

Suddenly, the world reacted. On his left, the black mist expanded and twisted the void into a massive throne room, gothic and haunting. Everything was dark, elegant, and cold. On the right, the golden light formed a radiant throne room of glowing marble and divine beauty.

Ethan now stood in a place divided: half celestial, half abyssal.

And on each throne, a woman sat.

In the golden throne, his not-so-favorite author lounged in her usual smug glory. She wore a slitted golden dress that shimmered as it hugged every perfect curve. She smiled like someone who knew exactly how many chapters she left hanging.

But on the black throne—

Ethan's breath hitched.

There sat a woman. Her dark gothic dress cascaded around her like ink spilling across reality. Lace clung tightly to her generous curves, the fabric dipping low enough to showcase a scandalous amount of skin without crossing the line. Her legs were crossed, boots laced high, one hand resting lazily on her cheek.

Her skin was pale as moonlight, lips painted blood-red, and her eyes, crimson and piercing, looked straight through him.

"Fucking jade beauty," Ethan whispered, completely mesmerized.

"Hello. Did you miss me, Ethan?" said the radiant goddess on the golden throne.

"Shut up. Who the hell would miss you," he snapped, eyes still half-glued to the gothic vision beside him.

"Tch, I know you're a tsundere. You're charmed by me," she teased, tossing her hair over her shoulder.

"Well... I can't deny that," Ethan mumbled under his breath.

He shook his head, forcing himself back to the point.

"Can you tell me what the fuck is going on? Where did this superpower come from? It was just a normal novel. When did it turn into this?"

The golden goddess chuckled, a soft, melodic laugh.

"Hehee, it all happened because of you."

"What? Me?!" Ethan asked, pointing to himself.

She gestured to the dark throne. "You have to ask her. My sister, the Death Goddess. Just like I'm the creator... She is the end."

"What the fuck, she's your sister? No wonder..."

Ethan turned toward the death goddess. As she stood up, her presence overwhelmed the space. She walked toward him slowly, every step echoing like thunder. Her curves swayed, her red eyes unblinking.

Everything about her was beautiful. Dangerous, mysterious, intoxicating.

She stopped beside him. Ethan didn't say anything.

"Did you not recognize me, retard?" she asked coolly.

"Wait, how am I gonna recognize you when I just saw you for the first time?!" Ethan replied.

She snapped her fingers. A phone appeared in her hand out of thin air. She tapped something and held the screen out to him.

His eyes widened. "Wait… no way."

Displayed on the screen was an old web forum profile.

Username: TittyTwister143

Status: Banned

Reason: Flaming the author. Repeatedly.

Ethan squinted. "Wait... you're that person... the TittyTwister143?! The one who always hated this novel?!"

She smirked. "Hehe, you finally recognize me."

The golden goddess giggled, her laughter like wind chimes.

"Fufu, what a lovely reunion."

Ethan blinked between the two of them, feeling like he'd stepped into a fever dream.

"Yeah... lovely is exactly the word I'd use," he muttered sarcastically.

"Wait, if you are her sister, why are you always hating on the novel?" Ethan squinted at the dark-dressed goddess.

"Well, you will know..." she said coolly, "...when I answer your question—why these superpowers suddenly appeared in this novel."

Ethan pointed toward the golden goddess lounging lazily on her radiant throne. "She also said I'm the reason for it."

The golden goddess winked. "Hehe."

The death goddess folded her arms, her tone turning sharp. "Well yes, you are the reason. She's right."

Ethan leaned in, genuinely curious now. "Okay… I'm listening."

The death goddess took a few slow steps forward, her dark mist trailing behind her. "Earlier, when this was only a novel, I truly hated it. Just because it was a simple urban novel. Boring. No stakes. No fighting. Just rubbish life skills and drama." She rolled her eyes.

"I always told her, let's make it fantasy, add some thrill, some tension, some actual power, but she didn't listen. So, I trashed her writing, her story, her everything."

"Wow," Ethan muttered. "What hating..."

The death goddess chuckled. "Then, when she planned your transmigration, I told her—'Let this world have some superpowers.' And guess what she said?"

"Lemme guess—no?"

"Exactly. So I made a bet with her." She smirked.

Ethan raised a brow. "A bet?"

She nodded. "If her favorite reader—yes, you—meets her for the first time and feels no lust or attraction towards her, the novel stays the same. Normal. Slice-of-life crap. But—" she pointed dramatically at Ethan"if you show any kind of lust…"

Ethan suddenly felt a lump in his throat.

"…then this world would be reshaped. Into fantasy. Into chaos. And guess what you did?"

"I don't wanna guess," Ethan said, already groaning.

"You didn't just feel attracted," the death goddess laughed, "you declared you'd make her yours!"

The golden goddess giggled behind her hand. "He even licked his lips."

"Shut up!" Ethan shouted. "What kind of asspulling is this?! Who makes world-altering bets over lust!?"

The two goddesses replied in sync: "Tehehe~"

"Fuck both of you!" Ethan shouted again, frustrated beyond belief.

The death goddess tilted her head playfully. "Hehe, I know you're truly a pervert. Even now, saying you'll fuck us right to our faces—truly no shame."

"Wait, that's not what I meant!" Ethan protested, face turning red.

He sighed and rubbed his temple. "Okay, okay… can you at least tell me what this power is?"

The death goddess nodded. "You saw those people with yellow glows, right?"

Ethan nodded. "Yeah. And me—I have one hand glowing with black mist, the other with golden light. What is that?"

"That's because your power is ours." She gestured, left hand black, right hand gold. "The dark one is mine. The golden one is hers. It's our divine imprint."

Ethan looked at his hands. "So I have the power of two gods... great."

"There's more," she added. "Details you'll uncover as you use it. You've already found a good master, ask him about Chi if you want more answers."

"Wait, wait, before you send me back—" Ethan pointed at her and smirked, "I'll also make you mine, TityTwister."

The death goddess blinked, then laughed. "Hehehe. As expected of you."

The golden goddess clapped gently, amused. "You have a long road ahead."

In an instant, the twin throne rooms dissolved. The swirling vortex appeared once again, sucking Ethan back like he was caught in a divine toilet flush.

He landed face-first into the grass with a loud thud.

"Ow…"

He looked up. The world was back. The sky. The trees. The faint sounds of Sasha and Nate.

Sasha ran over to him, panting. "Hey, tell us, Ethan! What was that power you used earlier!?"

Before he could answer, a loud buzz echoed through the air. A massive, glowing projector screen appeared above them out of nowhere like a sci-fi movie.

On the screen was a tall man in a slick suit, wearing a black mask that covered half his face. He stood against a dark backdrop, and his voice boomed across the sky:

"Hello, ladies and gentlemen.

My name is Lucifer.

The screen flickered and vanished into thin air.

He turned to Nate and Sasha. "Let's go to the Hayes house. Things are about to get messy."
