Uchiha's flies : Descendants are Born

Chapter 11: Chapter 11

Konoha Hospital, in a private room.

Sasuke lay on the hospital bed, drenched in cold sweat, his eyes tightly shut, occasionally groaning in fear.

It was as if he were trapped in a terrifying, bloody nightmare that kept repeating...

"Father, Mother! Please... Brother! Stop! Stop!"

Swoosh...

Under Uchiha Itachi's sharp blade, his parents collapsed to the ground, their blood splattering on the spot.

The same horrific scene replayed thousands of times.

Sasuke nearly broke down, clutching his head in despair, crying out in agony.

The next moment, he dropped to the ground, trembling, drooling...

"Why, Brother? Why would you do this? What do you gain from killing everyone?"

Uchiha Itachi responded coldly, "To test my strength."

"Test... your strength? For that, you killed them all?"

"You don't understand... This is important."

"What a joke!"

Sasuke, heartbroken and enraged, charged at Itachi with his small fists, hatred burning in his eyes. But Itachi ignored him completely and swiftly struck Sasuke's abdomen with an uppercut.

"Ugh!"

Sasuke clutched his stomach and dropped to his knees in pain. At that moment, he felt the overwhelming cold killing intent from the brother he once loved so much.

"It's terrifying!"

Survival is an instinct in everyone, let alone in a seven-year-old child.

Seeing Itachi approach him step by step, the chilling intent blanked Sasuke's mind, and every cell in his body screamed one word: *Run!*

"Don't kill me! Don't kill me!"

Sasuke bolted out the door, running aimlessly under the eerie red moonlit night.

He didn't want to die.

But as he ran, despair crept over him once more.

At the end of the road, Itachi stood waiting.

Seeing no hope of escape, Sasuke shook his head wildly, desperately trying to deny the truth.

"Brother, no! I don't believe it. You're not my brother! My brother loves me. He would never do something like this!"

Itachi's expression remained cold, his voice emotionless as ever: "That was all an act. I played the brother you expected to test your potential. I won't kill you now. You'll serve as the gauge of my ability in the future. I believe there's potential hidden in you…"

"You and I are the same—we're capable of awakening the Mangekyō Sharingan. But there's a condition. To unlock it, you must witness the death of your closest friend or family member before your eyes."

Sasuke's eyes widened in shock. "How... how can that be?"

Itachi continued, "Thanks to Shisui, I awakened this invincible eye technique... the Mangekyō Sharingan."

"...!" Sasuke was stunned. "Shisui-senpai's disappearance... Could it be... you, Brother?!"

Itachi ignored the question and continued speaking: "In the main hall of Nanga Shrine, under the seventh tatami mat from the right, lies our clan's secret meeting place. The stone tablet there records the origins of the Uchiha clan and the true secret of the Sharingan..."

"If you can awaken the Mangekyō, including me, there will be three who can wield it. That is why I'm sparing your life. You are weak now, not worth killing... yet."

"My foolish little brother, if you wish to kill me, then hate me. Despise me..."

"Live your life consumed by this hatred, and when you've acquired the same eyes as mine, come find me. Don't embarrass yourself the way you are now..."

With that, Itachi's Mangekyō Sharingan activated once more.

At that moment, Sasuke jolted awake in his hospital bed.

He gasped for breath, the pain in his arm reminding him that this was reality.

The nightmare was no illusion.

The clan was gone...

His family, dead...

His brother, vanished...

It wasn't a dream.

It was all real.

Sasuke, with lifeless eyes, stumbled out of the ward, wanting to revisit the clan compound.

Just as he reached the hallway corner, he overheard two young nurses discussing the Uchiha.

"Sasuke hasn't woken up yet? Poor kid..."

"Yeah, who would've thought such a tragedy would befall a famous family like the Uchiha?"

"After the massacre, Konoha lost nearly half of its strong, handsome men. I always dreamed of marrying an Uchiha, but now, they're all gone..."

"You still have a chance. I heard another surviving Uchiha is looking for a wife..."

Sasuke froze.

Another clan member survived?

Who was it?

He was desperate to know the name of this living clan member.

He wasn't alone.

The nurses continued their conversation.

"Looking for a wife? Really?"

"Yeah, I saw the notice earlier today near the village center. If I hadn't been running late, I would've stopped to read it."

"Wait, I think his name is Uchiha Haruto, right? I haven't seen him myself, but I've heard rumors about him being a real ladies' man. He's always been known for stirring up trouble, so it's no surprise he's doing something outrageous like recruiting wives now."

"..."

Sasuke, whose mood had briefly softened, darkened once more at the mention of Haruto.

Haruto was a disgrace to the Uchiha, so much so that everyone in the clan viewed him with contempt.

In Sasuke's mind, Haruto's womanizing ways had sullied the Uchiha name for years. Every member of the clan saw him as a stain on their reputation.

"Of all people, why is he the one who survived?!"

"No wonder he'd come up with something as ridiculous as recruiting a bride!"

"If there were any decent Uchiha men left, they wouldn't stoop so low in a time like this!"

"That scumbag! I'll teach him a lesson myself! If he keeps this up, he'll ruin whatever's left of the Uchiha name!"

Though young, Sasuke was deeply proud of his clan's honor.

As the son of the Uchiha clan leader, Sasuke couldn't stand Haruto tarnishing the clan's legacy.

Without hesitation, Sasuke bolted out of the hospital and raced toward the Uchiha compound, kunai in hand, ready to confront Haruto.

Sasuke was confident he could easily deal with Haruto, whom he considered weak and pathetic.

"Itachi, you said you killed all the Uchiha. So why did you leave someone like Haruto alive?"

"In your eyes, you must not even consider Haruto a true Uchiha!"

"If you won't kill him, then I will. Both you and Haruto are cancers to the Uchiha, and I hate you both!"

As Sasuke's anger boiled, it mirrored the rage he felt the night of the massacre.

Soon, the gates of the Uchiha compound came into view.

"Haruto, I'm going to end this!"

"...Huh?"

Sasuke was stunned.

The scene before him was completely unexpected.

He thought the compound would be silent and empty.

Instead, it was bustling with people, even more lively than it had been before the massacre.

"What... what's going on?"

How's that?
