Type-Moon Simulation: Starting with Conquering a Greek Goddess!

Chapter 8: Chapter 8: The Departure of the Argo!

[Hearing Jason's speech, a thought crosses your mind.]

[If Jason ascends the throne, he could rally an entire nation to dispel the rumors about the Gorgon sisters.]

[Helping Jason might just be the best course of action.]

"Whoa, really?!

I thought Heracles would be the first to come to me, but it turns out to be you, Moran! So tell me, is my kingly radiance already dazzling?"

Jason smugly flipped his hair.

Moran, without hesitation, kicked at him.

Jason, ever nimble, dodged.

"Whoa! That was close!"

"I figured you'd get too full of yourself. If you don't curb that arrogance, you'll die before reaching the throne. I'll help you, but I'm not backing a reckless fool."

"Hahaha! Moran, you really are my best brother! When I take the throne, I'll make you my Grand General!"

Jason beamed with joy.

Not long ago, he had declared his intent to reclaim his kingdom.

Yet, the only one willing to accompany him was Moran.

That alone nearly brought Jason to tears.

[Jason sees you as a sworn brother.]

[Together, you set out for Iolcos. On the way, you encounter an old man struggling to cross a river.]

[Your modern-day values compel you to carry him across without hesitation.]

[Strangely, the old man disappears soon after thanking you.]

[A suspicion lingers in your mind, but you refrain from making any conclusions just yet.]

[After several days of travel, you and Jason finally reach the royal city of Iolcos...]

[The Usurper Pelias Issues the Trial to Retrieve the Golden Fleece]

[Strangely, Pelias harbors hostility not only toward Jason but also toward you, despite never having met you before.]

[To reclaim his throne, Jason decides to build the Argo and sends out a call for heroes from all corners of the world.]

[You board the legendary Argo.]

[With Jason as the captain and the blessings of the gods upon you, the Argo, filled with heroes, embarks on its grand expedition.]

[And the first destination awaiting the heroes is—]

"I didn't expect so many to fall at the very first challenge. Should I say that even heroes struggle to resist the allure of beauty…?"

Moran sighed, clearly speechless.

[Your first stop is the island of Lemnos.]

[An island inhabited only by women.]

[The women of the island offer you wealth and land, hoping that the heroes will stay to protect them, as they lack any ability to fight.]

[Their longing gazes are fixed upon you and your fellow heroes as you set foot on the island.]

[Many heroes, unable to resist the temptation, succumb to indulgence, but at the crucial moment, you recall the three sisters of the Invisible Island.]

[Resisting the allure, you choose to remain near the Argo.]

Moran had entered the city but soon returned.

It wasn't that the women of Lemnos lacked charm, but rather that his time spent with the three Gorgon sisters on the Invisible Island had raised his standards. Having grown accustomed to divine companionship, his resistance to mortal beauty had become remarkably strong.

The punishment Stheno and Euryale had once imposed on him—

Had now come true in an unexpected way.

[You stay on the ship with Heracles and the others, passing the time in conversation.]

[During this time, you notice someone approaching the Argo and immediately recognize the figure.]

[She is Atalanta, the renowned huntress of Arcadia.]

[Those who resisted the temptation of the Lemnian women and stayed by the ship are now captivated by her beauty.]

"If anyone wishes to pursue me, they'll have to first greet my arrows.

I seek to board this Argo. Who among you is the captain of this vessel? I'd like to have a word."

Atalanta's gaze is as sharp as a hawk's.

Her emerald-green hair, as soft as silk, sways with the sea breeze, while her jet-black thigh-high stockings cling tightly to her toned legs.

She is like a wildflower growing defiantly on a cliff—

Enchanting yet undeniably dangerous.

"Jason is probably in no condition to handle this right now. You understand the… atmosphere of this island, don't you?"

Moran remains unfazed by the imposing aura of the huntress.

He steps forward to meet Atalanta.

The island of Lemnos is filled with an overwhelming sense of languor, an almost tangible pink haze lingering in the air.

Could Jason possibly resist the temptations of this island?

Absolutely not. No way.

"Heh, you're right. To think so many so-called heroes would fall so easily to mere beauty… You're quite different. You're not swayed by my appearance, nor do you fear my strength..."

A look of appreciation flickers in Atalanta's eyes.

She sees no greed in Moran's gaze.

Unlike the other men who immediately tried to court her, Moran's indifference earns him a surprising amount of favor.

"Well, if you want to talk, I don't mind. If it's about joining the ship, you can discuss it with me just the same."

"Is that so? I appreciate it."

Among the current crew of the Argo, Moran's strength is among the best.

The constant intake of Medusa's blood had granted him both demonic and divine traits, and with his "Innate Physical Prowess" skill, few heroes could stand against him in a direct confrontation.

Not to mention, he was a martial arts prodigy.

[Atalanta follows you to a quieter section of the beach to discuss the matter of joining the expedition.]

[Perhaps due to her growing fondness for you, she begins to share her concerns.]

[She wishes to board the Argo as a warrior, yet she is constantly pursued by men. Romance is the last thing this huntress desires.]

[You believe you've found a solution to her problem.]

Upon hearing Atalanta's worries, a plan quickly forms in Moran's mind.

And just like that, the long-lost narrator's choice reappears before him.
