Type-Moon: I Married Morgan, and Everything is out of control

Chapter 15: birth

King Uther and I are standing in front of the door right now. I can hear Morgan's screams. I'm pacing back and forth, hearing the screams.

"LOTT, COME HERE!" Morgan's voice came from inside. King Uther patted my shoulder, as if saying, "I'm praying for your soul, brother," and I entered.

The nurses are trying to help: "Push, my lady!"

I held Morgan's hand. She was straining, then suddenly screamed: "Ahhhhh!" Then she bit my hand, sinking her teeth in. Damn, it hurts.

A baby's cry cut off the sound of her scream, and Morgan was still trying to relax, as if it wasn't over yet.

Six hours later.

Four children were born.

They were all sleeping. Morgan's skin was pale, her breathing slow. Then she took the firstborn in her arms, looked at me, and said: "Let's name them as we discussed, okay, Lott?"

The four children were named.

The firstborn was Gawain, the second Agravain, the third Gaheris, and the fourth Gareth.

The strange thing is, I didn't choose the names; Morgan did. Two children are in my arms, the others with Morgan.

I'm looking at them. Gareth and Gaheris are in my arms. Three boys and one girl were born. King Uther enters. Since we last saw each other, he's grown paler, barely able to stand. His time of death is near.

He looked at the four children, then at me, and smiled: "Son-in-law, I didn't know you had such strong genes. You gave me four grandchildren. This might be my happiest day."

I'd bet Morgan wants to kill him because I could feel her murderous intent.

[Task completed: Become a father]

[Reward: Sun's Blessing (passive)]

It's pretty nice, these effects.

☀️ Passive Effect:

* Sun's Blessing:

 * The more hopeful you are, the stronger you become.

 * When you fall into despair, your light begins to fade, but a suppressed "Solar Flare" can save you.

The nice part is that it suited my lineage. Oh, King Uther was trying to entertain the children, making funny faces.

Merlin appeared from a corner, leaning against the wall, his eyes closed. Then he slowly opened them and smiled: "These children are special. When they grow up, they'll be great knights."

Suddenly, a beam hit Merlin's head. Morgan had shot it with her finger, but Merlin, as if he'd seen it coming, just tilted his head: "Come on, I was giving a compliment."

I narrowed my eyes and studied him. King Uther had long stopped caring about his surroundings: "Yes, but that's not a compliment. Morgan's brother is special too, but his fate is pretty bad, isn't it, you bastard?"

(First, mc knows that Artoria is a girl, but he makes them think that he doesn't know she is a women.)

King Uther looked at me with Gareth in his arms, his eyes widening: "How do you know?" he said, his voice trembling. I gave a smile:

"Everyone has their path. Isn't the one in the prophecy Morgan's brother?"

Merlin's expression grew stranger. The sword in the stone was known throughout all of Britain. The true one would know who is destined to pull it.

"What do you plan to do with this knowledge, Lott?" This time, it was Uther speaking, and he was uneasy too.

"Normally, I wouldn't do anything with it, but Merlin, I'm warning you: if you manipulate my sons and daughter, I'll do everything in my power to find you and kill you. I'll send you to the sun."

Merlin was trembling because he could feel that Lott would do it: "Don't worry, Lott. I prefer observing over meddling and messing things up."

That bastard Merlin, being immortal, thinks nothing will change, but that doesn't mean he won't suffer.

Working with Scathach, we carved runes into Ryujin Jakka. Now it can shapeshift, turning into a spear, an axe, a Western sword, and similar things.

So first, I'll let him feel my spear inside him.

Then Morgan suddenly shouted, "Enough of this nonsense! Now leave me alone with my children!" she said.

Uther looked like he didn't want to let go of Gareth, but when he saw Morgan's glare, he reluctantly gave his granddaughter back.

I didn't question much. After handing over the babies, we were kicked out of the room.

As we left, Uther and I locked eyes. "Lott," he said, his voice weak but resolute, "protect these children. They… are Britain's future." It was as if he was thinking of his kingdom even with his last breath. I nodded, but there was unease within me. Merlin's prophecies, Morgan's anger, Uther's fading body… Everything was colliding, and I didn't know what to do with four children in the middle of this storm.

Some time later.

Suddenly, Morgan's voice rose from the room again: "Lott! Come here, Gawain's waking up!"

I quickly returned inside. Morgan had sat up slightly in bed, holding Gawain in her arms. Her face was still pale, but a motherly warmth shone in her eyes.

"Look," she said, holding Gawain's tiny hand, "it's like he's already strong enough to wield a sword."

I smiled, but there was a weight in my heart. These children would carry not just mine and Morgan's fate, but all of Britain's.

At that moment, Gawain let out a small whimper, and Morgan began softly singing to him. Her voice melted all the tension in the room. But inside, I was still weighing Merlin's words, Uther's pale face, and Morgan's suppressed anger.

May God protect us and Britain.
