[TS] Starting the Broadcast

Clmumu.
31 years old, and a father of two children.
Aiming for various general game broadcasts with League of Legends as his main focus, he was a considerably experienced broadcaster approaching his 6th year this year.
At first, he didn’t gain much popularity, but with his smooth hosting ability and showing above-average game skills and knowledge among other BJs who stand out for their ignorance, he has recently started to shine.
With an average of 1,500 viewers and 40,000 fan club members.
While not at the very top of New Continent TV, he was a substantial BJ who could be called upper-tier.

“You know that VR-related broadcasts have been quite popular recently, right?”

In that sense, Clmumu’s proposal was quite an interesting one.
So while showing a positive reaction initially, I attached various concerns as conditions.
First, that I was a complete beginner to VR.
And that I didn’t have the equipment to do VR.
Clmumu’s answer to those parts was clear.
He would lend me spare equipment, and he even promised to teach me in detail personally.
However, for that, I had to visit Clmumu’s house directly, but there was no worry.
Clmumu was well-known as a family man, and other family members would be under the same roof while I was being educated by Clmumu in the broadcasting room.

‘I’ve definitely become quite popular lately, right?’
The average number of viewers fluctuates between 900-1000, and the number of fan club members has exceeded 10,000.
YouTube is also doing very well.

So isn’t Clmumu being so proactive considering my current momentum and future potential?
I pondered for a moment but soon expressed my acceptance.
It’s a 1-hour distance from where I live to Clmumu’s house.
Round trip is 2 hours.
But if this time investment returns as a more developed form in the future, I could endure it as much as needed.

I lived really hard for a week.
I exercised at Myunghoon’s gym every other day, and on rest days, I visited Clmumu’s house to practice handling VR.
And still not skipping broadcasts, showing diligence.
Even I’m amazed at myself.
After getting somewhat used to the controls that way, Clmumu recommended creating a unique character, but I thought it was too early to make that kind of investment.
I have to pay this month’s rent and taxes… Actually, I don’t have money.
There’s a way to exchange water balloons, but that’s a method to choose only as the very last resort.
Until then, it’s absolutely points, only points!

Clmumu’s wife brought us snacks.
With a gentle impression and calm voice, she’s really the image of an ideal wise mother and good wife.
Behind the wife’s legs was a mischievous 3-year-old boy peeking out shyly, and in her arms was the daughter she said was born early this year.
Clmumu smiles warmly looking at his son and daughter.
It’s really a nice sight.

Suddenly he approaches me and calls with a lisping voice.
Cute kid.
I squat down to match his eye level, and the mischievous kid who was grinning suddenly reaches out and touches my pride.

The atmosphere instantly freezes.
The kid, unaware of the seriousness of the atmosphere, exclaims loudly.
“Wow! So big! Bigger than mommy! Much much bigger!”

“Ahem.”

Is this kid possibly reincarnated?
The wife hurriedly comes and takes the mischievous kid away.
The atmosphere becomes even more awkward as Clmumu and I are left alone.

Anyway, a week passed like this.
Clmumu said to do the content on the weekend.
So I posted a notice in advance too.
Saying I’d do a joint broadcast on Clmumu’s channel on Saturday.
Maybe because it’s been a while since a joint broadcast, I’m even more excited.

The program for today’s content is VRChat, the hottest VR game.
VRChat, which started service on Steam in February 2017 and has been the undisputed No. 1 among VR games.
I had occasionally watched related content on YouTube, but it was my first time actually doing it when I received education from Clmumu.
It was a game with quite high freedom, from creating avatars to making worlds directly.

The broadcast starts.
The map that unfolds is a small Bar.
Clmumu appears as his wonderful character specially made by outsourcing.
The bartender outfit suits him quite well.
But he’s not the protagonist of today’s content.
After stalling for time with various stories, when viewers get impatient in the chat, he grins and introduces today’s protagonists.

“As soon as I announced I’d be doing this with Hani-nim, the competition rate was really incredible. The first lucky man who broke through the 35:1 competition rate. It’s ‘Matdang’-nim. Everyone, please welcome him with applause.”

Matdang’s character who entered through the door sat in the first chair.
Matdang with a neat appearance in casual attire.

And a sleeveless shirt and shorts outfit that seems to show off those muscles.

As per the agreed signal, I moved my avatar to open the door and carefully stepped inside.
I walk carefully with my head slightly lowered.

And I waved my hand.
