They talk about equality and fairness while ignoring the two years of time young men spent suffering after being forcibly taken by the state, for their own benefit.

They are selfish.
So they made such claims, and the system was abolished by political logic and law.

There are other ways to compensate for those valuable two years of youth.

So why did they have to abolish even the bonus point system while binding young men’s two years with a monthly salary of only 20,000 won at the time?
If there were women and disabled people who considered that system unfair!
And if they even abolished that system because of that!
Then they should have compensated through other methods.
Now that it’s election season, instead of nonsensical promises like giving 30 million won to military veterans, if they had treated them sincerely from before, young men wouldn’t be so angry at the current reality.

I think opinions might differ somewhat on the previous military bonus point issue due to differences in positions.
So my thought is that it would be good to solve it through methods other than bonus points for existing recruitment exams.
But the increasing proportion of women in police, military, and firefighting.
It’s being expanded under the name of ‘quota system’, and all sorts of corruption, discrimination, and incidents are bursting out within it.

We’re not barbarians, why hire police based only on physical ability in the 21st century, there are countless fields where female officers are needed.

There are certainly jobs where female officers are needed.
For example, for issues like sexual harassment or other problems that are difficult to reveal to male officers, it might be easier to confide in female officers.
But other than that?
No matter how much I rack my brain, I can’t understand.
Except for the above, are there jobs where female officers are needed?
This isn’t a gender issue, but an ‘efficiency’ issue.
From the start, there are differences in physical aspects, so in professions like police, military, and firefighters who need to protect and safeguard citizens’ lives, can women perform those jobs better than men?
If there are jobs where women are needed, just hire a small number of personnel for those jobs.
But why create conflict by inserting inefficient female quotas into these important professions, shouting their empty slogans of equality and fairness, which anyone with a bit of sense would judge as strange?

I think there’s room for discussion regarding the previous military bonus points, but this issue is different.
There’s no room for argument.
This is wrong.

There are recent statistics.
Looking at the special promotion rates per 10,000 female and male officers in 2020, female officers had 81 and male officers 67, with female officers overwhelming male officers.
2019 was no different.
76.2 female officers and 57.5 male officers, and in 2013 when the ratio was most skewed, it was 59.3 female officers and 29.4 male officers, more than double.
From 2012 to 2020, the special promotion rate for male officers never exceeded that of female officers even once.
In fact, the ratio isn’t the problem.
If female officers really had such outstanding work performance that many special promotions came out, we should rather expand the ratio of female officers.
But when you analyze the special promotion merit contents for each gender, you grab the back of your neck.
The special promotion merits of male officers are “arrest of important criminals such as robbery and murder”, “arrest of gang for confinement and forced prostitution”, “meritorious arrest of important criminals such as violent rampages”, etc.
On the other hand, female officers are full of vague contents close to wordplay such as “strengthening gender equality and sexual harassment prevention education”, “active administration such as budget savings in building electronic entry/exit list”, “contribution to improving satisfaction through equipment support for managing important events”, etc.
Is this normal?
Shouting for equality and fairness, demanding to increase the ratio of women in public service like female police, female soldiers, female firefighters, but only looking for comfortable work and even enjoying such benefits in promotions?
Isn’t this a case where men can’t help but feel relative deprivation?
