Chapter 99: Chapter 98
Emiya residence.
Morgan and I returned at noon, just in time for the residents to gather for lunch. I don't know at what point, but I managed to doze off on the shore of that lake, even though the atmosphere wasn't very welcoming. It was just forgotten under the pleasantness of spending time with Berserker.
Sleeping under the open sky, in the mystical air and in the arms of Morgan, who at one point snuggled up to me, was comfortable and relaxing. So much so that I felt absolutely fine now. That was true of Morgan, too, judging by her satisfied and almost radiant face, which she hid as soon as Artoria came into her field of vision.
Upon seeing us, Merlin was smiling and giggling very cheerfully. I guess he was watching us with his Clairvoyance, and apparently Morgan had come to the same conclusion. A very 'cute' smile appeared on her face, seeing which Merlin instantly trembled and tried to run away, unsuccessfully of course. She grabbed him by the scruff of the neck and vanished into thin air with him. And I even began to wonder if he'd still be alive after what Morgan had done to him.
At the moment they hadn't returned, Archer, Rea-chan, and Medusa were setting the table, with Enkidu and Mo-chan helping them. The rest of them, however, were seated at the table and waiting for dinner to begin. The office had gone somewhere, and Alaia had gone to her house. I settled into my seat, where Tia had immediately taken most of my attention, and watched my surroundings out of the corner of my eye.
It had been about a month since the Servants had been in this world, and it was safe to say that they were enjoying their stay. It's a full-fledged vacation for them, when they can just live.
Gil and Enkidu are giving themselves over to traveling, which was impossible in their time. Shirou is no longer a callous depressive shell of himself because of Artoria and Medusa, with whom he has fallen in love. The latter, like Hercules, obviously misses their Masters from the Fifth War, but they try to move on with their lives, dedicating themselves to the opportunity that presents itself. Artoria has resolved the issues with Lancelot and Mo-chan, which has removed a mountain of guilt from her heart. Merlin is just happy for his king and is stirring things up with his annoying behavior. The Assassins, on the other hand, are using this time to hone their skills. Not just the Hundred Faces, but the Grandfather himself. Morgan found me, as presumptuous as that sounds, and Da Vinci... still Da Vinci.
And it's fun to see how they operate. Mo-chan, who was tentatively arranging the plates and asking Archer if she'd done it right. She was circling around Shirou like a kitten, which he had already accepted, and Artoria was nodding approvingly. The giant Hercules, holding a fork tiny for him in his massive hands and munching enthusiastically on Archer's cooking. Enkidu, who has found a new hobby for himself in cross-dressing, that sort of thing.
I was suddenly brought out of my musings by the doorbell ringing, which I found odd since it wasn't reception time yet. Rea-chan gave a brief nod to Archer, whom she was helping, and headed for the door. She returned a few seconds later, and alone, but now she had an envelope in her hand.
This was the second letter in two days. Is this some kind of fashion for them or something? Wouldn't it be easier to call or come yourself?
- And who was it? - I asked, accepting the letter Rea-chan held out to me.
- No one, my king. When I opened the door, there was only it lying on the threshold.
- Oh, how mysterious. - I grinned and examined the envelope.
It looked completely ordinary. There were no inscriptions, no symbol or even a seal on it - just the glue that kept it closed. So whoever was the sender didn't want to be recognized.
I slowly unsealed the letter, and inside, on a white sheet of paper, was nothing but a single word - med room. Of course, this made my eyebrow go up, but it also made me really curious as to who was so secretive and mysterious.
- Put my portion away, Shirou. I have some business to take care of. - I shouted to Shirou, getting up from my seat, to which the response was a shrug and a nod, and a magic circle lit up beneath my feet.
Well, let's see who it is and what he wants.

Kuoh Academy.
Once there, when the light of the circle went out, the first thing that caught my eye, and something that definitely shouldn't be here, was one particular person. And not a simple one, but...
- Rizevim-chan?! - I couldn't believe my eyes and jumped on the spot with my hand on my heart as if I had been scared to death.
Yep. The person was Vali's "grandfather," who is the main antagonist of the story, and whom I had "slightly" changed. "He" was dressed in a feminine business suit with silver patterns that emphasized a gifted figure, high heeled shoes on his feet, and light makeup on his face that didn't overpower his natural beauty.
Rizevim-chan looked calm and serious, but I could detect the tiniest hint of nervousness, surprise, and relief when I got here. She was occupying a vacant bunk, one leg folded over the other, and waiting patiently for me, obviously not expecting me to arrive almost immediately, judging by the look on her face.
To make a long story short, there was a quite attractive and businesslike woman in front of me, who wanted to solve some issue. But that doesn't change the fact that this situation is absolutely surreal and unexpected.
- Romani Archaman," she said hello, "I honestly didn't think you'd arrive so soon .
- ...and I honestly didn't think you'd be the one who sent me the letter," I said, a little out of breath, and sat down in my desk chair, creating a cup of coffee and draining it instantly to calm myself down a little, "What do you want? And why this particular place? Isn't the academy enemy territory?
- Aren't you happy to see me? I thought I was dear to you, remembering all those signs of attention you showed," she asked with a mocking smile on her face, "And why the academy? No one expects to see me here. Not even you, judging by your reaction, right? I called you here because-
- Don't tell me you suddenly changed your plans and don't want to cause chaos in the world anymore. - I made a suggestion.
- It's very rude to interrupt a lady, don't you think, Romani Archaman? - After some thought, I've come to the conclusion that I can only accept my current situation. It's unusual, yes, but over time I've grown accustomed to it. And no, my goal hasn't changed, I still plan to do what I planned to do, however....
She shifted one foot to the other and placed her hands on her knee, interlocking her fingers together.
- ...There was one detail added to them. When the world descends into chaos and leaders and societies fall, someone has to pick up the leash. To bring order, if you will. I hadn't thought about it before, but it's different now.
- And what's the point of that? - I raised an eyebrow - It's obvious that this "someone" wants to be you, but then why create chaos? You're not a power-hungry person. In fact, I doubt you have any.
- To plunge it back into chaos," she said as confidently as if her words were the most obvious thing there could be. "As a woman, I've realized that it's more exciting to watch the world burn, not alone, as I'd thought before, but with someone worthy. Someone who is either equal to or better than me. With someone who makes everything around them so much more attractive and interesting.
Rizevim-chan with an excited smile on her face got up from the bed and walked towards me, swaying her hips and looking at me with eyes naturally burning with passion.
- Just imagine, you and I, standing on top of this world. Every soul submits to us, indulges us, envies us... only to burn at our will, unable to change anything and seeing only our satisfied smiles at the end of their existence.
Now she brought her face close to mine, making me feel her hot breath and hear the quickened rhythm of her heart.
- Isn't that exciting?! Isn't that exciting?! Just you and me! The whole world exists only for us! - Rizevim-chan rammed excitedly, looking me straight in the eyes, and then took my hand and put it to her breast - I need you, Romani Archaman. I want you and only you. Join me, and you will have every last drop of me.
Listening to her, not to be called other than delirium, I just hovered. My mind was trivially unable to process what was just happening. Her every word was filled with such solidity that it threw away any possibility that she was playing or lying.
Through my hand, I could clearly feel her heart beating insanely fast. How desire-filled blood flowed through her pressure-expanded veins, and how her breath burned.
How the hell did one fucking sex change have such an effect?! How the fuck?! Where everything went into the sea of shit and wanted to stay there!!!
- You're insane," I said monotonously, "You're absolutely insane.
- Everyone is insane, Romani Archaman. I am insane. You're insane. This world is insane. I just have the courage to admit it," she stated, returning to her 'calm' state, and took a couple steps back - Now you don't want to accept my offer, that's obvious, and so I'll leave. But I will try again. Again and again and again. Until I die or reach my goal.
- What's stopping me from dealing with you right now?
- You won't. Something is stopping you, because if you could, you would have done it back in the castle," Rizevim-chan grinned, and a magic circle formed under her feet, "And by the way, I am truly grateful to you. It was your gift that revealed the truth to me. You have reborn me into something greater than I was before... Thank you, Romani Archaman.
At those words, I froze. I froze at the realization that I was the one responsible for everything that was happening right now. And while my body was in a daze from the horror of the situation, Rizevim-chan leaned in sharply to my face and slipped her tongue into my mouth. The rough, inept, and terribly passionate kiss lasted no more than two seconds as then it stopped and the culprit disappeared from the office.
I, still frozen like a statue made of ice, had absolutely no idea what to do or what to think.
I can fucking go back in time?! Just for one tiny micro-moment?! I really need this... Really....
