TRIO TRESPASSERS

Chapter 5: BETRAYAL?

As Ishu collapsed.

A floating message popped up before all three of them.

[FEAT ACHIEVED]

First to defeat the 10th Pet's Pet of the Demon King.

Reward: 6000 Star Coins + Full Recovery

Krishna's eyes lit up. Debu blinked at the screen.

But another message flickered in front of Ishu's body—soft, cracked, less bright.

[CHANNEL VIEWERSHIP INSUFFICIENT]

Full Recovery failed.

Due to low viewer count, healing power reduced. Subject cannot be fully restored

A cold silence settled between the notifications.

Then—more messages burst in, one by one:

[VIEWER REACTION: DELIGHT SURGE]

Names: Flame of Abyssal, Flame of Wrath.....+more.

Donations: 500 Star Coins each

Total Donation: 4000 Star Coins

Comment: "Deeply impressed by your feat. We're excited to see more."

But Krishna and Debu didn't care.

They weren't checking amounts.

They were staring at Ishu—lifeless, unmoving, breath thin like thread.

Debu opened the store panel still blinking behind Ishu's last reach.

Krishna wordlessly joined him.

They didn't talk. Just clicked. Purchased every medicine available.

Elixirs. Cleansing kits. Heart stabilizers. Mana soothers. Even outdated tonics marked as "Maybe Useful in Emergencies."

Another message slid into place:

[VIEWERS DONATION]

Spectators are wishing you good luck.

A total of 1000 Star Coins donated directly toward recovery.

Comment: "We want Ishu to live."

They didn't smile at it.

They just got to work.

They fed him everything with trembling fingers and silent prayers. Every potion. Every vial. Not worrying about coins or the future.

Then it stopped.

No more cures to try.

No more words.

And so—Krishna and Debu stood still.

Dust circling around them, smoke whispering through the air.

They just stared.

At the motionless shape of their brother.

At the life they were trying to hold.

They stood motionless.

For a full minute, neither Krishna nor Debu blinked. Their eyes never left Ishu's still body.

Then, together, they looked up.

And roared into the silent heavens.

"We will not play this game anymore. We end our lives here!"

The echo tore through the system.

Messages exploded on the screen.

[VIEWERS REACT: PANIC BLAST]

"No! That was incredible!"

"Don't quit now!"

"You've given us so much fun!"

The screen lit with sorrow, frustration, desperate pleas.

But Debu raised a hand.

"One condition," he said softly.

[VIEWERS: INTEREST SURGE]

"Name it!"

"We'll do anything—just stay."

Krishna's voice joined.

"We want a wish. An OP wish."

And that changed everything.

The viewers—so moved, so invested—granted it without hesitation.

[WISH GRANTED]

Type: Ultimate Power Wish

Usage: One-time only.

Limits: Should be in power of upper GODS. Even revive a person.

Everyone assumed it was for Ishu.

Viewers smiled.

But then—

Krishna stepped forward.

His voice came steady. Cold.

Unshakable.

"We do not want to revive our brother."

The silence was shattered.

[VIEWERS REACTION: OUTRAGE SURGE]

"What a betrayal!"

"How dare you waste the wish!"

"We were rooting for you!"

"We wish you bad luck!"

"You monsters!"

"You backstabbers!"

...+more.

Messages flooded, furious and chaotic.

But not all.

A small cluster emerged from the shadows.

Names like Secretive Plotter, Betrayal Master.....+more.

[Alternate Reaction: Intrigue Surge]

"Delicious twist."

"Didn't see that coming."

"Respect for the duo."

Each sent 50 Star Coins as tribute.

Krishna didn't smile.

Debu didn't blink.

The angel appeared again, asking so what do they desire.....

Krishna and Debu stood silent—tension carved into their faces.

Then Debu spoke.

"Our wish… is this."

"From now on, only we three—Ishu, Krishna, and I—can access the Store."

"All contestants lose it. Their Stores vanish. Ours absorbs everything."

The words fell like a thunderclap.

The angel froze.

The viewers went silent.

Then—shockwaves.

[GLOBAL SHOCK DETECTED]

"WHAT?!"

"They're hijacking the whole system!"

"This isn't a wish. This is a takeover!"

What kind of request is that!?"

"And why Ishu, is he not dead?"

"Selfish!"

But layered in the storm, a few twisted voices purred with delight.

"Crazy betrayal, Crazy wish."

"I just love it."

Then a golden message appeared,

[UPPER GODS]

WISH GRANTED. They have intrigued us.

Suddenly, every contestant's Store flickered, sparked, and dissolved—gone.

Panels shattered. Inventory logs snapped shut.

All items, options, and mechanics merged, swirling into a single glowing interface on the trio's screen:

TRIO STORE: Activated

[SYSTEM RESTRUCTURE COMPLETE]

Only Krishna, Debu, and Ishu may now access items.

Full Store integration achieved.

But then—another message bloomed across their HUDs, soft and chilling:

[BALANCE PROTOCOL: EXECUTED BY UPPER GODS]

Due to access of nearly infinite items, prices have skyrocketed.

All items now require astronomical Star Coin amounts.

Fairness restored. Chaos welcomed.

Debu smirked. Krishna cracked his knuckles.

And together, they looked at the fallen body… and shouted:

"Cut the act, big bro!"

Dust shifted. Silence tensed. Ishu's eyes fluttered open. He groaned softly and sat up, brushing off ash and scattered potion residue.

"Is it over?" he asked, blinking against the sunlight.

"I guess... it is."

The viewers lost their minds.

[GLOBAL CHAT SURGE: MIND BREAK DETECTED – MESSAGE RATE EXCEEDS SAFE LIMIT]

"HE WAS BREATHING? WHEN??"

"Did anyone actually check the body!?"

"This can't be possible...."

"Is this divine manipulation or just perfect acting!?"

"Wait wait wait—Ishu twitched. Rewatch the footage at 0.7x speed."

"HOW?"

"So the Upper Gods KNEW? What game are we even playing?"

"How far back does this go? Was his 'death' a calculated trigger?"

"Was the Store purge part of the plan!?"

"If Ishu survived this… what else is he hiding?"

"NO WAY—NO WAY—NO WAY!!!"

"mind.exe has stopped responding "

"This twist was illegal. I'm suing the narrative."

"Who even is Ishu???!"

"This ain't a plot twist—it's a plot nuke."

"If this is scripted, I want the director's autograph."

"He planned this. Every frame. Every drop. I've watched Ishu's death scene twenty-seven times—there was a 0.3 second twitch. It was a ruse."

"Heh. They've earned my attention. Ishu was playing mortal while scripting a god-tier escape."

"Now… let's see if they can handle what's coming next."

"At last..... a spark worthy of divine attention. EXCELLENT."

...............+more.

[TOTAL STAR COINS DONATED=800]

[TOTAL COINS IN POSSESSION =6900]

Even the angel froze, eyes wide, wings flickering in disbelief.

But the Upper Gods?

Still silent.

Ishu smiled faintly and whispered under his breath.

"Figures… they knew. That's why they're the Upper Gods."

The trio stood. Then laughed. Then high-fived like idiots who had just punked the universe.

They hugged each other with cracked ribs and bruised magic.

"Let's not pull this kind of crazy shit again," Debu muttered.

Krishna nodded. "Seriously. We were seconds from losing you."

Ishu placed a hand on both their shoulders.

"It was terrifying for me too," he said.

"Without you guys… I'd be gone."

The wind finally blew again.

The viewers couldn't decide whether to cheer or rage.

But the brothers?

They were whole.

And the game had changed forever.
