Trillionaire's Slice of Life

Chapter 452: Enchanting Skills

"I'm sorry, Mr. Chu, it's my fault for causing you trouble!"

The woman called Qiao Huanhuan, with apologetic eyes, spoke as the raucous noise outside the private room became even more grating, to the point that various curses and the sound of scuffling were clearly audible.

Chu Mo glanced at the reserved woman in front of him wearing a windbreaker, but he didn't speak. Instead, he began to think of a strategy.

If today's incident could be downplayed, it would be for the best. Otherwise, if someone with an agenda found out, the identities of Qing Guo and Qing Cheng might be exposed, and that would be a loss beyond recovery.

As Chu Mo was deep in thought, Qing Guo across from him said with a face full of guilt:

"I'm sorry, Mr. Chu. If it weren't for our sisterly whims, this would not have happened. It's all our fault."

"This was my idea. Mr. Chu, if you have to punish someone, just punish me alone!"

When the lively and playful sister, Qing Cheng, also looked at him with a face full of panic, Chu Mo realized that because of his silence just now, all three women in front of him were filled with alarm.

Chu Mo didn't intend to blame them or pursue the matter further. With a dismissive wave of his hand and a laugh in his voice, he said:

"What are you all doing? It's not such a big deal. It's just a few hoodlums causing trouble. If I, Mr. Chu of Modu, can't handle this little matter, wouldn't I be undeserving of my reputation?

However, we did come here today to discuss important matters. If it's not necessary, it's better not to cause any special disputes, especially for you two sisters, Qing Guo and Qing Cheng. Your identities must not be exposed, otherwise, all our previous efforts will be in vain!"

The three breathtaking beauties in the room were relieved to see that Chu Mo did not blame them.

Meanwhile, the noise at the door grew even louder. Chu Mo didn't want to continue in this stalemate, so he gestured to Fan Gao at his side and said:

"Let them in!"

After Fan Gao bowed and exited, moments later, a group of about ten people barged into the room, cursing and swearing.

Chu Mo immediately noticed that the leader was the square-faced man who had been thrown out earlier. The man's face was flushed red, clearly having drunk a lot, and beside the middle-aged man was another middle-aged man with a long scar on his forehead.

"Weren't you acting all tough just now? Why going soft now? Which one of you bastards just sent me flying out? Step forward, and I'll only break one of your hands, otherwise, we are not done with today's business!"

The square-faced man boasted arrogantly. From the moment he entered the room, his beady eyes had not left Qing Guo, Qing Cheng, and Qiao Huanhuan. The greed and desire in his eyes were almost completely unguarded.

Under normal circumstances, Chu Mo would simply have ignored such a person and had his bodyguards throw him out. However, today, he didn't want to escalate the situation. So, exceptionally calm, Chu Mo spoke:

"There has been fault on both sides regarding today's incident. However, since we are all dining at Seasons Pavilion, that's fate. Therefore, I'll cover your expenses today. Let's all have a drink together and consider all matters settled. How does that sound to you all?"

Chu Mo had already taken a step back, and his attitude was sincere, but he clearly underestimated the greedy nature of the group before him, or perhaps, the irresistible charm of the three women in the room.

No sooner had Chu Mo finished speaking than the flushed-faced square-faced man immediately shouted:

"Settled? No such luck! I was thrown out just now. If word gets out, where will I, Sun Neng, put my face?"

Chu Mo sighed softly. Just as he felt at a loss, Qiao Huanhuan suddenly stepped forward. The woman in the red windbreaker, with enthralling eyes, flashed a seductive smile. Picking up the tea from the table in front of her, she gracefully approached the square-faced man amidst the audible swallowing of the men around.

With her fair, snow-white hand extending the cup of tea, she said with a voice dripping with allure:

"Big brother, today's incident is all Xiao Huan's fault. If you are angry, direct your anger solely at Xiao Huan. If big brother doesn't mind, I offer this tea in place of wine as a toast to you. What do you say?"

The sultry voice echoed throughout the room, matched by the evocative smile on the face of the woman in the windbreaker and those bewitching eyes that could make any man succumb, all the men in the vicinity almost drooled simultaneously.

The man, who seemed as if his soul had been enraptured, had no trace of dissatisfaction left. He took the tea glass from the woman with mesmerized eyes, but as they were about to clink cups and settle the matter, the scar-faced, robust man suddenly spoke:

"Sun Neng, you called me here to back you up just to drink a cup of tea? The mighty Bear of Modu placated by just a cup of tea?"

As the words of the scarred man settled, the square-faced man who had been bewitched and had lost himself stiffened. He placed the cup he had raised to his lips back down, and after a moment of silence, he gritted his teeth and finally broke free of the enchantment. With a sinister smile, he said:

"Almost fell for the little vixen's trick. You're right, Brother. We came here today to regain face. I'll give you two options; one, call out whoever started the fight and I'll cripple one of his hands, or two, let the three little ladies here accompany our brothers for a drink and cheer us up. As long as you entertain us well, we'll consider nothing ever happened today!"
